As far as OMNILUX being a reputable brand, my first mask burned out after 15 months. They responded IMMEDIATELY after i contacted them, and told me it was under warranty for two years. All they asked was that I submit a short video that would demonstrate the problem. I did that, and in a matter of days, I received notification that my new mask and battery/controller were on the way!
Thank you for letting us know!
I had a small wire break where it connected to the mask over a year after purchase and they replaced immediately after I sent a pic of the break. Excellent service
That's good for digital natives who are very comfortable with making videos but it worries me that I'm not one .
Wow they made you do all that? When my currentbody mask broke during the warranty they let me just send it back and sent me a new one.
My Omnilux stopped working after about 8 months and I hadn’t even been using it much then it started working briefly then stopped again. It was very frustrating b/c I had applied my Mayasma green tea & wait about 15 min for it to penetrate only to have the mask not turn on. Omnilux did replace it after I sent a short video which was a bit of a pain. I haven’t unboxed my new one yet.
Been using this for 2 years& love it. i’m 63 and it needed a boost. i will continue to use it. I certainly don’t mind laying down and meditating for 10 minutes. i look forward to it !
Me too!!
Would you mind saying what brand you’re using? Trying to see if there is a more affordable mask than the omnilux one
omnilux is the one i’m using . it’s a home use but also dermatologists use the commercial brands in office.
@@hapinini I know you didn’t ask me but I use the Qure mask. It has a hard shell. Some people prefer a flexible shell because it covers more area but I’m happy with mine. It’s around $300.
Ditto!
I AM 77 AND USE THIS DEVICE. I LIKE IT AND IT SEEMS TO BE WORKING FOR ME. IT'S NOT THE FOUNTAIN OF YOU FOR ME BUT A SLOWING DOWN THE PROCESS.
I was looking for a comment like this. My 70-year old mother is struggling with the collagen in her skin, probably also because of hormone therapy post-cancer treatement.
What brand and from were did you buy it thanks
I have been using this mask for 6 weeks and I can tell a big difference. My face feels tighter. My bags under my eyes have gone down also. I love using it. 10 mins of quiet time. ❤
Me too!!
That’s amazing! Your comment makes me want to try Omnilux before going to a doctors office and paying $1400 for Thermage to treat puffiness around my eye are.
Out of all the things I do for anti-aging my face, I think the Omnilux contour mask has helped the most (next to sunscreen, of course). I am 56 and my skin is in good shape. I use my mask every single day for 10 minutes.
Me, too 🙋♀️ I'm 57, have rosacea, and have been using it for 2 years. If I lost all my skincare items, I'd immediately repurchase the Omnilux, tret, and sunscreen ASAP 😂
Is it ok , I wonder to use the LED light mask on same day as doing a micro current device treatment ? Or, is it too much stimulation of the skin ? Hoping someone can shed light on this ❤ ( pun is incidental 😊) Thanks 🙏
you can use both. First LED therapy and second micron current.
@@gategirl66 I'm 51 with Rosacea and would do exactly the same! if I was allowed a 4th item I'd chose a green cream such as Rosalique or Dr Jart
@@TheNemesister what is a green cream?
I’ve used the Omnilux for about a year as directed, and it definitely works! I didn’t notice the changes for a while since they were subtle and cumulative (and I don’t have major wrinkles yet) but when my device got broken (thanks to my dogs) and I had to go a month or so until my new once came my skin looked a lot more “tired” and far less glowy and tight than before. So I know it has definitely made a difference!
Stunner
As a pcos person - I decid to give a chance to the led mask. I have Qure mask and after 2 weeks of consistent use I can definitely see improvement in my skin - now a have occasional acne only on my neck (usually I had a lot on my chin or forehead) so the mask definitely works!
Any changes in skin tightening?
I’ve been using the Omnilux for about 8 months and have seen great results. I’m very happy. I will continue to use and will buy the neck and décolleté soon.
I have been using Omnilux mask for 2 yrs, and yes I definitely do see an improvement!
I use mine first thing in the morning, its so relaxing !!
I have been using this mask 5 days per week for 4 months. Then 2-3 times per week. My rosacea is GONE. I feel my skin look’s plumper and more youthful than it has in years.
I purchased Dr. Rajani’s Red Light Therapy mask. I love it! I love yours and Dr.Rajani’s information. You both are my go to doctors for all skin information and over health.
I have an Omnilux mask and have been using it religiously for about 2 years now. It does everything Dr. Dray says it does! Would highly recommend led light therapy to help with the signs of aging skin.
I have been using mine regularly for about a year and a half. After after 6 months of use,, several folks asked if I had work done. I do a couple of things for my seborrheic dermatitis. I do think the masks has helped with that as well. I typically say my morning prayers or listen toba podcast. The 10 minutes fly by. On another note, I have draped the mask over a fresh bruise and a stubbed toe, both healed more quickly than usual.
May I ask what you do for seborrheic dermatitis? As soon as mine calms down another flare occurs. I am following derms order and using products he suggests or prescribes. I am almost 76 years old and have never had a skin issue until this popped up 5 years ago.
I've used the Omnilux LED face and neck masks for two years. I use them almost every day as soon as I wake up. I put on my masks and spend 10 more minutes in bed waking up and helping my skin to look better. My Omnilux masks are my favorite skin care treatment.
Does that work well in the a.m.??
I have a red light panel (Mito Pro750) and the same red light mask that Dr. Dray tested. I have type 1 and 4 rosacea. Red light therapy has been a regular part of my skincare routine for 3 years, and it's been instrumental in kreping my rosacea calm. I'm really grateful for it.
I love this mask!! I keep it by my bedside and use it every morning while lying in bed. I hit the snooze once and by the time it goes off, I’m finished. Easy and quick!!
Have you noticed any difference between using the mask and the panel? I'm just starting my research about LED for rosacea. I thought professional treatments were the only option!
@saskia.... no, I haven't I don't think. For me the panel covers more area but the mask is great for travel.
@@sandra37cooks thank you so much! I would think the panel would be a bit more versatile so a couple of people can use it. But I haven't thought about travel. Good tip! Thanks again!
@@saskia.... np! Hope it helps you as much as it did me!
I have the Qure one, and I really love it. It’s only 3 minutes and have see a big improvement in my skin overall.
What kind of improvement?
I bought this two weeks ago, and I have seen a difference in my skin- less redness and more smoothness. I find it relaxing to you and part of self care.
I have used the Omnilux for 7 months - 5 days a week as advised. I love the mask and my skin is incredibly clear and glowing. I enjoy the"me" time using it and look forward to my 10 minute treatment . The results make using it addicting. Greatest anti-aging tool ever. Also, they now have a trio of skin care - use their cleanser first, then serum to use wearing mask and a peptide serum post mask use. Awesome.
LOVE my Omnilux!!! Have had it since it came out on the market. I go in spurts as far as how much I use it. I might use it daily for four months and then one month it just collects dust. Has definitely made a noticeable improvement in the look of my skin, so glad I have one! Oh, I’m in my mid-50’s, this is a great tool for people my age.
@@pussyhigh very comfortable to wear!
I have this. I have rosacea and sensitive skin and it works wonderfully for me. My skin looks fantastic.
What light do you use for rosacea? I have got the same issue

I’ve been using Omniluxe Face and Neck for over 2 years. I’m 77 and definitely see a difference. Omniluxe also now makes a Hylauronic/Niaminicide serum to use under the mask.
It's rather confusing reading that some masks specify no-nothing underneath/bare-skin vs this Omnilux pushing their own serum along using their mask.
I'm almost 57 and have to say the most impactful thing I added to my skin routine in the last year (when I started doing more skincare than just sunblock by day and moisturizer by night) was that Omnilux mask you have there. It makes a huge difference that is quite obvious! I don't worry about bare skin vs. after products. I get results anyway. Using it even at 50% effectiveness is better than not using it because you want 100% but it's too much bother.
Thanks! Good point about 50% vs 100%.
I’m definitely not using mine due to the hassle of using on a bare face.
Have had the omnilux mask for about 1.5 years. Definitely notice the benefits. But I am also neurotic about sun protection (spf, hats, sunglasses) and using skincare actives like tretinoin and vit c. Also have done some in-office lasers. Like anything health-related, consistency is key.
Ooo really? I have been going through it with stress and increased my tretinoin prescription wondering if I’m just purging for over a month now maybe 2 months but I wasn’t using it super consistently and put it around my lips oops. What benefits did u see with Omnilux?? I have cystic hormonal acne on my chin and jaw but it’s starting to go down I think. I have dark marks now though 😭
I can vouch for red light with healing it was used after my breast reduction as I had a bit of skin breakdown next to the vertical incision.. surgeon started using 1 week post op and I have continued at home with amazing results ❤
I bought my Omnilux in early May. I use it everyday and put it right next to my nightstand. I wake up 10 minutes prior to getting up, quickly wash my face and I use my Omnilux for 10 minutes in bed. If you are used to doing a 10 minute snooze, replace it with this and sleep during use. Just set a timer if you think the light turning off will not wake you up.
It’s definitely worked for me I’ve used the ominilux men’s mask for about 6 months and I will always use it! My skin looks amazing
Great to hear!
Good to know! How many times a week do you use yours?
Great idea getting the men’s mask ❣️
Can women use the men’s mask for deeper results??
May I ask why you chose the men's version? Perhaps because it would cover more surface area?
I was highly skeptical, but after researching (studies of these masks are limited) I got the same Omnilux mask. I used it consistently at first and thought there might be a difference, but then I quit using it. Then I started to notice my skin not looking as supple and healthy, so I started using it again. In the last month, I have been using it almost nightly. My routine is I wash my face before going to bed, lay back with the mask on, eyes closed, listening to You Tube, and decompress from the day. It has become a relaxing ritual. I notice my skin firming up and glowing again. Is it worth the price? Sometimes I wonder if the same results could be achieved with exercise or light slaps to the face lol.
You are supposed to use it every other day fyi
@@jr-pr9lw The user guide says 3-5 days a week. I probably use it 5x a week., or as I said, almost nightly. There is no real precision to the instructions.
hilarious - "light slaps to the face"!
Hahahaha 😂
I watched a different health professional who recommended that these types of masks should be used every other day in order for our body/skin to detox and allow for repairing.
I have this mask and have used it 3-5 times a week for the past year. I can’t say I’ve really noticed a difference but it is very relaxing. I think it’s super doable because I just have it on while I watch RUclips. I also use it to help me fall back asleep. I don’t know how but it works.
I opted for an LED panel instead of a mask, because I wanted to use it all over for skin health, pain reduction, etc. I love it! I'm planning on getting a second unit so I can do my front and back simultaneously. I even use it for my dogs!
Which panel did you get?
What brand did you buy? Pls link , if possible. TY ;)
Ahead of the person responding. I will say that a lot of people recommend Mito and redlightman
I just purchased mito red 300 panel.
How do you use a panel on your face?
Who else thinks that the inclusion of red visuals in this video (dress, pillows, flowers) is genius? Thanks for another super informative video Dr. Dray!
She is indeed a genius! Thankfully we have her to debunk, or confirm skincare technologies.
I bought Omnilux red face mask four months ago and use it (almost) regularly every other night and LOVE the results. I’ll be 58 this year, and combined with Dr Dray’s sun avoidance and lifestyle advice, I am often told that people don’t believe that I am the age that I am.
I use it as an end of day relaxer where I lie on my bed with my elevated legs up against the wall, eyes closed and just recharge from the busy day for 10 mins. It is a mini spa session for me….
Tip: I use rubbing alcohol wipes to keep it clean, and always store it in its box.
Have I mentioned I love it?
Thanks for your great videos Andrea! Love the science ….
Your refrigerator analogy spoke to my heart 😂 “I don’t want containers for my containers.” I love it! Your sense of humor is unmatched and brings me increased joy when I watch your videos!
I love my Omnilux mask have been using 2-3 times a week for 3yrs and its one of the best things i have done for my face . This and retinol and sunblock moisturizer of course.
Same
I ended up returning my Omnilux. I followed all of the directions, used it as prescribed. I used it twice without issue but the third time I had a reaction on my cheeks. They got all red and it looked like I had hives. It took about 24 to 36 hrs. for things to get back to normal. Using the Omnilux was the only thing that was different in my routine. I considered trying it one more time but I decided to not take the chance. I still don't know why that happened but the company was great about returning it.
I honestly think you’re a skincare clairvoyant - how intuitive you are is mad - have literally just bought this and was researching into it to make sure I hadn’t made a crazy midnight purchase LOL - keep shining and helping us blow x
Mine was a crazy midnight purchase lol but only because I knew the science backed it up
I just did my first session. How is it going for you any results yet. ?
Have stopped myself from crazy midnight purchases for this. I can’t decide between a panel and mask or solawave
Buying this at midnight 😂
I use this OmniLux mask almost every single day. IT TRANSFORMED MY SKIN. I also have and stick to a really good skincare regimen but I noticed a difference using the mask after a few weeks and it continues to keep my skin looking fabulous. Dark marks will heal faster, acne is almost nonexistent, if it comes it goes away quickly. I have an inner glow that is spectacular. This face mask is on the expensive side but I use it so much, the cost per use is like a penny. Let’s just put it this way, if this mask broke today, I’d be ordering another one TODAY.
I have the LightStim that has deep red, light red, infrared, and amber. It’s a hand held device that you have to hold-in place for 3 minutes. I dedicate time for it five days a week, and it makes a huge difference in my skincare routine. When I’m finished I do my serums and retinoids for the night.
Which handheld did you get? My concern is upper lip texture. Mine is badly damaged from electrolysis.
@@myutube7441 I have the LightStim for wrinkles. I even use it on my lips. My skin looks more plump including my lips when I use it. And the benefits stay if you keep it up. I don’t think your condition would be an issue. They have sales quite often.
@@myutube7441same!!!! My upper lip has a permanent 5 o’clock shadow due to electrolysis
I use a Mito Light Panel, with it I target my face, neck and body at the same time. The skin of my face and neck is in good condition because I use tretinoin (like 10 years), but I see the difference on my body and I think the skin of my face and neck is tighter too. It is just incredible.
A great tip I got from my aesthetician: many tanning salons offer full body red light therapy. In many places you can get a monthly membership for a reasonable price and go get full body red light therapy as often as you want. Worth looking into, especially with larger, chain tanning salons.
Great tip indeed! Thank you for sharing!
Yes but do they work like the in office ones? No derm discusses them
I went with a Mito red light panel as it covers more real estate, and while I've only had it for about one month, I'm excited to see if it will help stimulate collagen and also help with some pain relief.
Penn Smith Skincare has talked about that in her videos and uses it.
Thank
You for mentioning epilepsy! I watch many videos like this and no one ever mentions if things are safe in epilepsy
We have a big (all body) red light panel at home, my bf bought it for his after gym regeneration and it cost him a lot of money, but he has the problem with keeping up with routines 😃 so I told myself this panel is not going to be wasted, somebody needs to benefit from it and so I use it every other day like this calming ritual and like for "energy charging". I don't know if my skin is any better after using it, but I'm pretty consistent and it would be a nice benefit if the red light will have some good impact in my skin. At least I hope for it
I purchased the omnilux "men" mask which apparently penetrates slightly deeper due to men's skin being thicker. I love it, definitely calms and brightens the complexion. The Velcro straps can be a little difficult to maneuver at times but a nice feeling mask also by way of texture. Nothing has helped with my facial redness as much as your tip about a light spray of Oxymetazoline (Afrin). That has been a massive game changer for me! Even my pharmacist was impressed by that idea and asks me how I've gone with it. Lots of love x
I thought about that for a stronger effect! Is the size a bit to large? I thought that maybe the men's mask would be too large
Which video talks about the Oxymetazoline spray? I would love to see that one.
@@kacyeleightly8838 afrin video
@@buzzybee186Oddly, the mask for men is exactly the same size as the mask for women.
It’s it actually stronger though in terms of strength?
I used my Omnilux on a fractured toe 3x’s a day. Healed bone with complete remodeling of the bone 3 weeks faster than normal. At follow up appointment Podiatrist was very confused. Lol! 🤷🏻♀️. Also, use it for knee, back and neck pain. It works for this
Celluma makes a great small panel that is wonderful for anti aging and pain. It has two different modes.
@jr-pr9lw. Thanks! Will check it out. Felt odd placing a face mask on my foot.. 🤣 Would like to invest in a more “professional” flexible device for my body aches and pains
Mito makes panels, hand helds and two different belts. I have a panel and use it on my face and lower back or knees if I over do working out.
I used mine to help healing a scar after foot surgery. Might seem weird, but I knew it could not hurt.
@@annhartley8425 I'm curious to hear as to how LED panels help with your lower back & knees from excessive workout?
I absolutely love my Omnilux mask and definitely see a difference in my skin.
Thank God you talk about the mask. I was going to buy it but can’t be bothered with the maintenance of using it. I have a good skin regime and that’s enough for me.
I am 40 and I have the full set of Omnilux masks (face, neck & hands). I have a pretty strict skincare regime and have been using Omnilux 4 times a week consistently over past few months. My skin does feel a bit dry after each session (their facial mask is a slippery mess that I don't care for at all). So I supplement each session with a FOREO UFO 2 session. On the other 3 days of the week, I use my FOREO bear. My skin has been extremely happy with my regime. Soft. Wrinkle free. I can't pin point which of these devices or just my skincare products work. I went out the other night and a lot of people thought I am in my 20s. Same at professional conference. Either way, consistency is the key no matter what you do. Stay connected and redirect. Listen to your body/skin.
Your skin is beautiful!
I use the red/infrared/amber LightStim for aging, & while I notice positive effects on my skin tone and texture, the best thing it has done is reduce the awful deep cystic acne I get around my jaw areas. I also got the blue/red LightStim made specifically for acne, thinking it would work even better, but it has not been particularly effective for any of the deep blind pimples like the one for aging has.
I have the LightStim for acne as well and it never helped with my acne. I was very consistant too! I should probably just look into red light therapy.
I've got rosacea (with pustules) and always worried if I should have bought the blue light stim instead of the red, this is very interesting that the blue light didn't help the acne so much!
Thanks for sharing! I bought a mito red light panel and have only used it a couple of times but I want my son who is 22 to use it for his cystic acne. I wasn't sure if it would work for acne so it's helpful to know that it worked for yours!
I began using the Omnilux mask about 8 months ago. A few months into it, several co-worders asked me what I've been doing to my skin. They said it looked to nice. My husband didn't notice a difference though (ugh). I definitely see and FEEL a difference in my skin. This may sound funny, but if feels thicer and tighter.
I also began using a Retin A around the same time, so I can't say it was 100% the mask that made my skin look and feel better, but I love the mask, I pop it on and watch a quick youtube vidio and in 10 minutes I'm done! It's hands down the easiest at home device I've every used.
Do you put the retin A on before or after using the led mask?
I was skeptical about red light/infrared light therapy, but I have a condition called adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder) and nothing short of surgery was working to help the pain. So I bought a red light device from MitoRedLight (I got the MitoPRO 300) and have been using it for a month now. The adhesive capsulitis is drastically improved; I can now sleep through the night without shoulder pain. (The doctor isn't sure that this is caused by the red light; he thinks it is because of the healing that naturally occurs over time. Maybe, but I've had this problem for over a year and this is the first thing that gave me relief. So, maybe it is just correlation versus causation, but my gut is that the red light is what made the difference). But I also get the red light on my face as I'm treating my shoulder, and any wrinkles I had (admittedly, not many were there) are now gone...as are some of the hyperpigmentation that takes months to go away after I get a face blemish. So I'm a huge fan of red light therapy.
OMG ! Your experience just made me go "WOW " !!!
This is a very unique experience from most of the comments.
Wishing you more relief!
🙏🌻🌹🌸
I struggle with frozen shoulder too. I've been reading about what RLT does for your body. There's a decent amount of research. I'm close to pulling the trigger. THANK YOU so much for sharing!
My mom got relief after watching some RUclips videos on stretching/physical therapy for frozen shoulder
If you want to purchase a device or Panay, wait for their Black Friday sales!
Omnilux worked so well on my face that I got the neck version afterward. It's my meditation time where I just lay on my bed, put some music or asmr... and of course an alarm because sometimes I fall asleep!
I wore mine while watching the video! I agree, it is kind of a pain to keep up with, but it is great for when I'm having a rosacea redness flush!
I'm so glad you mentioned this device can aggravate rosacea. I bought an Omnilux mask and just couldn't find a reason online as to why I look sunburned for two days after using it. This explains it because I have rosacea and am super sensitive to products, etc. Thank you!
I think she said red light improves rosacea. And then she said it aggravates it. But every one reacts differently, so it must not be for you.
@@LiLi-ps5vbRed LED light is supposed to help rosacea. It’s the occlusive mask that can exacerbate it, unfortunately
Each of these devices is going to have instructions on what they can and can't be used for or at least they should.
Could you use it for a reduced amount of time and slowly ramp it up? I'm wondering if that could work because I also have rosacea but I really want to try red light therapy!
@@julietchu7008 I tried it out the other day by not setting it against my face, (since Dr Dray said the direct contact could aggravate rosacea), and I seemed to do fine that way. The down side to that is you have to hold the mask up for the 10 minutes. That was actually my next thought - to try for 5 minutes up against my face and see what happens (and work up with the time). Thanks for the suggestion too!
I love my omnilux. I look after my skin health in every way you mentioned so already have pretty good skin. I set an alarm 10 minutes earlier than my normal time and just put it on right away and go back to sleep for 10 minutes. Maybe this could be an option for you if you wanted to try and slot it in your routine.😊
@Angie14197 I thought about setting my alarm to put it on and going back to sleep as well. But when Dr. Dray said to put it on a clean face with no serums or things like that on the face, I didn’t think that routine would be an option. Because my night routine does include serums and moisturizers. Do you have any remaining nighttime skin products still on your face in the morning?
@@janicewright8139 yes I do. I also watch angie hot and flashy and she does the same which is where I got the idea
I do the same, I put it on in the morning when I'm in bed
@@Angie14107 I heard a very knowledgeable Esthetician recommend the same. Someone else in the comments here said that 50% strength is better than 100% if you don’t end up using it at all due to hassle. Great to hear it works for you! Do you use anything like Retin-A, retinol, etc. and, if so have you noticed any irritation?
I kind of wonder if just rinsing my face with water/using a wet washcloth might help in the morning.
@@EJ54435 yes I use 0.05% retin a every other night followed by a moisturiser. Copper peptides on the other nights followed by a different moisturiser. No irritation using the mask just the usual retin a flakes by my nose occasionally if I've used it too close to there.
I did a lot of research on this topic and decided on buying a small panel rather than the mask because the panel is more powerful (meaning less time necessary) and the light hits a larger portion of my body. My small panel easily covers my face, neck, and décolleté. I’ve been very happy with it! I do see the value of one of the masks, though. The idea of just slapping it on my face while I’m half asleep and just laying there in peace sounds good too! 😄
Which panel did you get? I’m looking at the specs for the hooga, and they seem similar to much cheaper models
I’d be interested to know this as well!
Which panel is being used? Thank you

Can you please tell us the brand name or where to find this?
I purchased this after I bought my IRestore - I have been using it for one year. Good results!
Love that I get home appliance maintenance as well as skin care advice here! 😄
Right!? I’m now researching ways to keep my fridge in shape long term.😂
Great analogy with the refrigerator!! Made perfect sense to me.
Just a heads up, I've been using the Omnilux face, neck, and hand masks for 2 years now, and suddenly, yesterday the face mask just stopped charging. I contacted the company and they refused to assist because my warranty was over almost a month ago. Warning to all when used consistently it's a great device but you only have 2 years then you're on your own. I was extremely gentle with my mask, in fact, I babied it and kept it in its box when not in use, but it just died 25 months later. This company does not stand behind its products' past warranty and these are expensive devices for most people.
😅😅😅😊😊
I purchased an EcoFace more than 2 years ago, and have used it consistently. I believe that my skin looks much better and it absolutely speeds healing from irritations and acne.
I had the same problem with maintaining consistency with the Omnilux. It’s been sitting in my vanity since December collecting dust since I got lazy with setting aside time after showering before bed to do the ten minutes 🤷🏻♀️ I think having to wait to continue the usual nighttime skin routine made it somewhat of a nuisance. Your video has inspired me to start again, but maybe not trying to do it so frequently. Thanks for sharing the info and your results!
consider doing it in the morning when you wake up i slap mine on really quick and fall back asleep 🤣

Exactly the same here. Also using Cosrx. I've been using Korean cosmetics for two years now and they are the only products that saved me from redness, irritation, cyctis acne, whiteheads and blackheads. I've been also using the LED MASK for a month now and I can notice a difference.
Thank you, Dr. Dray. I am using an Infra Red panel (mito) on my face. You didn't address the difference, and I would really appreciate your opinion about it.
The panel seems stronger, and I sit with it pretty close to my face, but not on my face directly. I do feel it is making my skin super plumped and smooth.
I am in my early 20s and I've got an extreme preventative anti-aging routine for my skin and hair and I've been using led therapy for 4-5wks now with the Qure LED Mask and one of the most notable changes that I have already noticed is the improvement in skin texture, redness and overall radiance of my skin. I use both the red and blue lights.
Can you tell me your hair routiine i have none.
Do you use the red light and then the blue light setting or vice versa in one go or do you separate the treatments out?
I definitely would love to hear more about the Qure LED!!
The Qure didn’t work for me, no noticeable change after two years, it didn’t fit well, rigid, not flexible. I tried to return it within the trial period because it was too small: hurt my nose a bit and didn’t cover forehead and lower chin. Would have been better if it covered neck. But they refused to honor their guarantee.
@@CherylE6119 I have used the Qure LED mask as well. It is very comfortable to use - it looks like it would be more comfortable than the Omnilux one. It only takes 3 minutes, or 6 minutes if you use both settings. I would recommend for sure. And the results are definitely noticeable after one month.
I have the CurrentBody led mask. I have been using it consistently for about three months. Next month I will move to three days a week. I have to say that I have seen improvement on my skin along with my skin care routine and a good sunscreen. 😊
I have this omnilux mask and love it!! My mother in law actually thought I was wearing makeup because it really helped with my skins texture, redness and plumpness after a few months. She noticed such a difference that she actually wants one too!! It’s so easy to use- just leave it on for 10 minutes and do whatever you want!
I love my LEDs!
I don't use a mask, but instead I use a heavy-duty LED wall unit that features red and near-infrared ("NIR") lights. I wanted a wall unit so I could stand/sit in front of it to benefit not only my face, but to help recover from a shoulder injury... it really helped! The wall unit wasn't cheap, but it was absolutely worth it. My husband uses it when he tweaks his back, too.
I bought one as well. It’s 42” in length and I can do all sides of my body in addition to my face. Well worth the money
@@GL0580can you guys share which one you use??
@@marianav9655Mine is a “MitoRed” 1500 watt panel.
which one did you purchase?
@@joyshuman2727 I bought mine from Platinum LED -- the model I have is the Biomax 450. I got it in 2019 and it's indestructible.
Yes I’ve bought one and I love it. I see results and I think 10 minutes in the morning is simple to do.
I love my Omnilux! I have had it about 2 years and I usually use it 3 times a week. I have seen an improvement in my skin and my dark spots are almost completely gone. I had some surgery done and I was not using my mask but I didn’t lose any of the improvement I have seen. I was glad to hear what you had to say about this mask as Angie from Hot &:Flashy did a deep dive into what difference there were. I want a hand one but I have to wait for a sale. Thanks😊
You can just place both hands underneath the mask laid down flat. Works on freckles from sun.
Hi, thanks for sharing. Are the dark spots melasma?
@@lynnyingliu5987 no they are sun damage
Hi. I'm wondering if your dark spots were also partly acne spots? You did say they're sun damage but I'm hoping to use it for melasma and post-acne pigmentation. So, wondering if you could share more.
Were you using the red or infrared light?
I’ve had chemical burns on my face and discoloration from the wrong dosage of birth control my face was flawless before all this mess I bought a red light therapy mask from ulta beauty been using it everyday for 15 mins for 2 months now my skin is back to normal all one color no redness or burns or discoloration
I use the Omnilux mask consistently and really love it! Every morning, before I get out of bed, I put my legs up on the wall for 20 minutes to aid in circulation. That's when I use my mask. I've seen big improvements in my skin.😊 In fact, I got it on earlier recommendations from you. So, thank you Dr.Dray!
LOVE my Omnilux. I am 57. I have had it 9 months and have seen great improvement in my skin. I average every other day, usually when I'm meditating or relaxing watching TV. I wish they would update the power pack to make it usable when plugged in. I use the face mask on my neck and backs of my hands, both have improved with use. Omnilux makes neck and hand units but I can't justify spending the money on them. Thank you for your extraordinary, well researched, and honest reviews Dr. Dray.
I started using the Currentbody led mask 3 weeks ago and i have had really good results. I have rosacea and that's why I bought it and the redness got a lot better in just a week. I can't believe it. I had an appointment with a dermatologist but before I got there I had treated the rosacea myself to the point that I don't need medicine. I changed my cleanser to Cerave moisturizing cleanser 2 months ago and that helped a lot too. My pores also looks smaller now.
Your skin is perfect so I understand why it's not worth it for you but I have rosacea and acne and my pores look really big. This mask hasn't helped my acne yet but it's already worth it. I'm 47 so my skin also has more signs of aging than yours and I don't use tretinoin. I think that I will see more results in time so I'm going to continue using it.
There's been studies done with the mask from Currentbody so maybe you should read those 😊
I use my omnilux mask first thing i wake up in the morning. It kinda gets me up slowly and after each use i spray with alcohol and wipe it down. I find that routine is easiest to work in without feeling burdened. Only thing i wish the mask is a bit contoured in the top forehead area to get a closer fit. Because of the flat surface i do put in onmy neck and stomach to treat those areas without having to buy separate pieces. I hv been using it consistently for 3 yrs, and really do believe it's making a difference in my hyperpigmentation & firmness. It has also helped with my stretch marks. Def worth the money only if you can be consistent with it.
I’ve been using the Omnilux Face Mask every day for about 6 weeks. I make it part of my daily skin care. No noticeable improvement yet. After spending $400 for this mask, I’m definitely NOT going to let it collect dust and forget about it. Mine is currently flickering, probably a wire issue. I am in contact with Customer Service currently. They need a video of the issue. I do love this product and would definitely recommend it!! Thank you for your always informative videos! I’ve learned a lot from you!
Follow up…… Omnilux has received my video on the flickering of the mask. Obviously it’s a wire issue. I am to cut the wire cord to the mask, send them the picture of it and they will send me a new one. Great customer service!
you wrote that you found no noticeable improvement-- yet also that you love it and would recomment. Why do you love it if it did not produce results?
@@heidih3048 I was about to ask the same question? Love to know what other reasons there could be for loving it if it isn't delivering results??
@@heidih3048 It’s easy and comfortable to use. I don’t expect results in this short period of time. Some hyperpigmentation has decreased for sure. Need to give it more time for noticeable results. Everyone is different with the amount of time to see results.
@@MissP7197 it’s only been 6 weeks, everyone is different in the amount of time for results. I like the product, it’s easy and comfortable to use. Some hyperpigmentation has decreased slightly. Science backed and highly recommended by many. I’m not giving up on the product. I’m not expecting miracles. I will continue to use it daily. I still would recommend it!
Why are they making you cut the wire cord. Isn’t the fact that it’s flickering enough to replace it 🙄
Using my let current body for few months, max 6 time per week. I am very happy with the result, my skin is much brighter also reduce redness too. I ll keep doing it for sure!
I have been considering the Omnilux for about a year but adding another step to my routine has held me back. If it can improve the look of my 59 YO skin, it’s worth it. You mentioned the improvement on scars if use is started immediately; but my question is what, if any, results would I see on a scar left by a Mohs procedure on my forehead?
Thank you for your videos, they are so informative and fun.
Best investment I have made. I have the Omnilux set, I use it everyday in the am when I first wake up and lie in bed. I can't count the number of times I have fallen asleep with my gear on! love it.
Thanks for the extensive review. Ive been thinking about this LED mask. Little expense. Was wondering about safety. So thank you for clarifying this. Love your channel;).😊
I have the Omnilux too. I lay down & listen to a podcast. It’s a nice way to slow down the evening 😊
I've been using the Omnilux mask for about 2 years consistently and love it! I'm 60, and I definitely notice the difference with the mask. I put it on when going to bed while watching a video. Ten minutes is so quick! I also do lots of other things for my skin, but I do enjoy this one!
What difference did you notice?
Dr. Dray, I truly appreciate your entire approach to skin health and care. I am grateful that your explanations are thorough and accurate, empirical, etc. but clear. You don't dumb things down and yet are informative. I have the Omnilux that you are analyzing here and I am fine with the discipline required. I am older than you are and as we get older (I don't have to tell you), we are more likely to want a device (and other practices) that will help delay the negative effects of aging. I do have Rosacea and this device has not aggravated it at all. Thank you for this and your other excellent videos. I trust you!
I've had my Currentbody face and neck mask for a couple years now and I've been doing my best to be consistent. I feel like it helps with wrinkles and sagginess. I just added the step of Maysama green rooibos serum before using the mask as I've been seeing its benefits talked about by many youtubers. If this continues to help, I may go ahead and buy the larger Mito panel you just sit in front of.
I've been using the mask for about a year. 4 months ago I added the Maysama serum. Just make sure your face is dry before putting the mask on. I use it 5 days a week and am very regular about this. This is a definite part of my routine and I'm 81.
@@joshannon6148 do you feel there is improvement since you added in the Maysama?
I find the red light very relaxing, so how annoying it is probably varies person to person. Glad to hear you noticed a result, because i think i see improvement too. I usually do deep breathing or meditation during the ten minutes or listen to be podcasts. I haven't find it easy to do much else while wearing the mask .
I have very sensitive skin with redness, plus I wanted something to help with collagen stimulation, so I bought the Omnilux and I've been using it for something like two weeks. My skin has had a very rough couple of month and now seems to be getting better, but I really don't enjoy using the mask, and especially the feeling of that plastic/silicone underside stuck to my face... But it is why it is, I will continue to use it, and who knows, maybe I will also try a panel at some point. After 40 we need all the help we can get.
Hi there, your comment struck me as particularly transparent, wanted to check in to see what your thoughts were now that some time has passed? Appreciate any insight!
I have been using Currentbody LED light therapy mask 4-5 times per week for a year. I use it at night before bed and apply retinol after using. I also wear the goggles provided for extra eye protection. I find it relaxing and do think it helps in reducing redness and inflammation from breakouts I still get, especially in the chin area.
You’re right when you say to only buy if you are actually going to use it. I bought the cleopatra mask and thought I would use it. But instead, I used it a hand full of times. Not enough to see any results. So a waste of money if you don’t use it! I regret buying
I’ve been using my Hooga panel everyday consistently for a month and I definitely notice a difference in the look of my skin. I got lazy and wasn’t using it for months but then dragged it out and leave it next to my bed. Every morning I use it for 10-15 minutes before getting out of bed.
Now I need to clean my fridge condenser coils!!! Thanks Dr Dray! 😊
@jenniferm4020 I'm wondering what's the size of the Hooga panel you're using and how exactly do you use it? Like, how far from your face and neck etc? Is it effective over a larger area? Thanks
Love your frig analogy!!! Thank you for educating us and for your fantastic humor.💜💜
The only at home anti ageing device i have is the red and ifra red led mask. I've managed to cure my pigmentation and my wrinkles have improved so much.
Safe for all skintypes and skin tones - but also for all skin conditions, in particular MELASMA???? Melasma sufferers have been steered away from LED masks, so I'm surprised you don't address this. Hyperpigmentation is not exactly the same as melasma (in my own case triggered by hormones and any and all irritation), is it? Would it even be beneficial, although heating and irritation are known to exacerbate melasma? Anyone with melasma tried this? What's been your experience? THANK YOU
I have melasma. Absolutely do not use the red lights. Mine goes to 850, I think. Both the red 600 and the 850 flared my face. The green and yellow are fine and somewhat helpful.
I've seen at least one doctor say LED is fine for melasma as long as the device doesn't generate heat. She herself uses them and has rosacea.
I think I got melasma because of these LED red and blue light masks !!! I never had any before that 🥲
The protocol for the Lightstim Anti Aging Panel at my workplace states a contraindication is usage of prescription strength retinols in the last 24 hours. The take home handhelds are the same nanodiameters as the Professional Panel. Its 3 inches in diameter with infrared, red, and amber and I've been using it for 2 years consistently. It's said to use with with a serum but the Acne Handheld says to use on dry skin.
I'm 50 and have been using the Omnilux Contour face mask every day for the past year. I have no plans to ever stop using it, but interestingly, have seen no effects yet whatsoever. I'm just going on faith that it's invisibly slowing down my skin's aging...🤞🤞
Oh no! that's too bad. Hopefully, you have great skin to begin with. The manufacturer's recommendation is 1x per week maintenance after the initial 4 week daily use.
@@B0WIETVC15 Despite only starting to wear sunscreen at 49 (when I discovered *godsend* Korean formulations that didn't sting my skin and eyes), I do have pretty good skin. Thanks for the maintenance tip; I hadn't considered a reduced routine! ☝I will try using it only once a week and see if that makes a difference. I really do believe that the red light is preventing further damage though, and that's WELL worth the time and money investment. Shine on!🚨
I haven’t really noticed anything either. I’ve been using current body red light mask 4 days a week for two years 🙃
@@SusanGreensmith-vm2gq But we're going to age more gracefully!☝😻
My sister gave me one for Christmas so I’ve been using it for 6 months and I love it, definitely see smoother tighter skin
I bought the same Led mask but I had to buy some goggles to protect my eyes. The light is too strong and I get blurry vision if I do not use them. The down side is that the goggles keep the mask a little away from my skin and I don’t know if it is still working properly. What do you think?
I love mine!! Been using for almost a year now, look forward to the 10 minute “meditation.” ❤
I've been using the omnilux mask for about a year now. I'm not nearly as consistent with it as I should be, but even my dermatologist was astonished that my lips are a little more defined and fuller. I am motivated to get back on the on the omnilux wagon again. Thank you for your videos.
How are your lips affected when there’s a hole in the mask for your mouth?
@@VKatgood question 😂
Interesting that the same comment was left under another video. word for word
I love my Omnilux. Best thing I have done for my skin.
I did not expect to learn about my fridges anatomy and how to look after it but this is why I love these videos.
Maysama serum has studies and I use this w my Omnilux 5 days a week. Great results! I use it in the morning right when I wake up.
