One of the best videos I have seen so far on GUT. Very well moderated by Dr Pal & extremely informative. Next time, do cover the correlation between circadian cycle & IBS. Great viewing.
What an enlightening and educational podcast this was. Thank you Doctors, for -not racing through your content -Allowing each other to speak their knowledge - Summarising so methodically, Dr Pal Thoroughly enjoyed this video. Thank you again.
Hello Dr. I started my weight loss journey inspired by your 100 day challenge. So far in 17 days i have lost nearly 5 kgs. From 103.5 to 98.7. Absolutely pumped for thr journey ahead.
@@vasaviarun7332 I lowered my carb intake and increased protein and fiber substantially. Fiber and protein would keep you satiated for long. Replaced one of my meal with oat meal shake( soaked oats, one banana, almonds, coffee powder, elaichi (no milk). Most importantly i complete my dinner by 7pm daily. Worked wonders for me.
I would have loved to know more about IBS,.it's symptoms and options to resolve as the Doctor is expert in IBS. It would have helped people with IBS which is believed to be wise spread and common in India
Hello doctor. Thank you for all the things you are doing for the societies welfare . In this fast pacing world everything you are doing is impeccable and highly appreciable . Huge thanks for your time for creating awareness by using medical knowledge and with great sense of humour. Salute for your hardwork and efforts for making our lives healthy and happy .
Could you please include video on how to recover from IBD caused after severe food poison (dysentery for 1.5 months with medication of 3 course antibiotics)?
I had a wonderful experience during the session, it was very beneficial. It was truly time well spent, and I appreciate the insights gained. There are many factors that influence progress in healthcare systems globally. Hopefully, we can continue to see positive advancements in the future. Thank you again for the informative and productive session!
Hi Dr Pal, Initially, thanks heaps for educating us regarding GI system. I nerve thought that GI system is so important for overall health. I learnt a lot through your channel. Recently, there is huge trend of prolonged fasting to reduce inflammation. People are going without food for 5 to 10 days. Also, in our Indian culture, there is a great importance of prolonged fasting during religious celebrations. Yes there are major complications involved with it like developing gallstones, ketoacidosis, but results are also very beneficial. It would be much appreciated, if you can make video on this topic.
When medical terms are used please flash them on the screen so that we understand and note them down. Pronunciation varies from one to another hence name flashing is mandatory
Anything the Government say to eat i just do the opposite. I recommend reading “Health and Beauty Mastery” that book is a real eye opener about shocking stuff health industry is doing! I completely changed my habits
On a non vegeterian diet, I was always constipated. I had sentinel piles and even a fissue. No doctor told me to change my diet. I became vegetarian, and it got better, but I still didn't evacuate daily. I now have wheat bran, psyllium, bean sprouts, and prunes at least once a day. My dinner is all salad vegetables, with seeds like sunflower, melon, and pumpkin. I am on a very low carbohydrate diet and get my protein from dairy, lactose free milk, and eggs. I have some almonds for a snack as they have fiber, too. I now have no problem in evacuating daily. Yes, I still get pebbles stools, and this could be because I need to have more water. But no more piles.
Dr Pal. First of all thanks for broadcasting this session Please do add few more sessions on constipation.. there s lot more regarding treatment and others
Thank you so much for this wonderful informative discussion Dr.! Nowadays doctors are recommending 5 meal instead of 3 meal. But here it is discussed that there should be enough of gap between meals. Could you please clarify this.
Dr. Pal thank you so much for all the effort you have taken in explaining the importance of good health and good gut. This video was an eye opener for me in so many ways. I would like to know more about the elemental diet. Also I was told I have idiopathic bowel and can you explain more about please? Without laxatives I don’t have a regular bowel movement. I really wish someday I will also have a normal life with easy evacuation and feel light when we wake up instead of feeling heavy.
Hello Dr. Pal, Thank you so much for enlightening us always to have a better future. Could you please do a short podcast regarding kid’s health, impact of junk food etc. Thiugh we insist the kids to be healthy, they tend to fall for junk food. Throw light on it specifically dedicated to kids from 5 to 13 years.

Dr I will never miss your podcast, I got a better understanding only after seeing your posts , now I am following intermittent fasting and reduced 3 kgs , One thing that bothers me is , I have a condition like loose eusophagus sphincter, that gives me acid reflex whenever I bend , so I choose yoga or exercise which does not involve bending and so their side effects, could you throw some light on this on how to manage this .

Hi @DrPal - Thank you for this podcast. I have a question about morning bowel movement. I am used to go straight to the toilet after I wake up for my morning bowel movement. Whereas, my husband & my daughter has to have a cup of coffee or a glass of milk before the bowel movement. Is this a sign of chronic constipation? Is this a good habit to cultivate?
