I saw 3 on Sunday and the movie was absolutely nuts. Art was on the screen and then the lights flashed and my whole theater went dark. Some people actually said “oh hell no” loud as hell cause they thought someone was gonna come in dressed like Art.

I have always called Sienna's introduction to this series as giving us the Batman to Art's Joker and it does leave an opening to be explored in 3 as to why. Another mystery to be explored is Vicky's role change in this series.
I give Roxy and Greg so much credit for still watching throughout the entire bedroom scene. Even for a special effect, that shit was just brutal to witness.
Terrifier 1 and 2 both have parts where you say “THAT scene” and people know exactly what you’re talking about. Terrifier 3 does not have that. They are ALL _that_ scene. And it is glorious!

I went to a comic con in OKC and Thornton was there and I got a pic with him in full art costume it was amazing. Seeing him in art and him keeping up the art character is pretty amazing lol.
Vickie is the woman who survived the first 1, she is in the psych ward at the end. The little girl was another victim and a demon, she thrn possess vickie and art is a serial killer given help from the demon. Its not expressly said but damien leone has said this. Also the 3rd movie explores a bit more. You wont get alllllllthe story in one movie.

Imo Damien Leone is great at coming up with kills and using practical effects and that stuff but isn’t that good of a writer and it feels like he’s making things up as he goes rather than having a fleshed out story already in mind

No, it's not, they explained who she is in the film. She's the little girl Art killed at a carnival, the newspaper article was right there in the book her brother showed her and he literally said it.
The lore on art is actually insane. From what I understand, the little girl in this movie was arts first ever kill if he ever committed at the carnival. All throughout the first movie, he was just a normal guy dressed up as a clown, but art caught the attention of a demon because he was so insane and psychotic, so the demon brought art back to life which explains why he was completely OK at the end of the first movie and the demon is using the form of the little girl as a way of communicating with him. And anytime art is killed the demon can just bring him back to life.
Love the fact that terrifier films were inspired by the old Dario Argento films, the esthetics look of the blood and feel. Even some of the over the top dialog was intentional like the past 70s /80s films that came before.
Keep in mind that Art is more myth than anything at this point. Everyone thinks he died. So anyone they see wearing his costume they will just assume is someone dressing up
I was saying Roxy looked like a journalist or reporter. Then she said Greg called her a detective. So... Detective Roxy's hair looked super awesome in this reaction! The interesting thing about these movies is they don't dump exposition, they give you vague hints and teases and you are left to put the pieces together

I’ve seen about every horror movie there is, from the cheesy to the goats, it’s not a bad thing the acting isn’t great, not a ton of slasher/torture horrors have great acting, but if you are saying this doesn’t have some real cheesy and wooden acting, you’re a Stan who lets the bias of “its perfect” obscure your sight. I legit watched the opening scene of Terrifier 3 with my friend yesterday… we turned it off 😭 I thought Terrifier 2 was bad. Art is a fucking savage in the third one and I haven’t seen all of it yet. (I WILL SOON, so PLS NO SPOILERS FOR THOSE WHO’VE SEEN IT) but I was eating cereal and felt so sick. I’m also not the type of person to get scared, or sick from a movie. It’s kind of funny to me that these movies are so divisive and controversial. I mean I feel like people hyper fixate so much on the gore and violence and the shock value of it all when I honestly feel like I’ve seen worse. I mean compared to the early works of like Peter Jackson this feels kinda tame to me lol
1:19:32 I was the same as soon as I watched this I was on google trying to find out more,I think this is one of the reasons Art has become so iconic so quickly, you want to know more, like who/what is he? why is he so brutal with his killings? What connects him to sienna’s Dad/family? Is the little Paleface girl his first kill and she is now some sort of demon? This is very clever as I think along side the ultra-violence, it’s also part of why it’s so popular, Art is a horror Enigma (for now at least), the 3rd one is number 1 movie in USA right now so it’s working lol 🤣
The bedroom scene was inspired by one of jack the ripper’s victims. Still the most brutal death in the series so far. Also the talk show host didn’t die she survived her attack. And the girl with the messed up face is Vicki not Tara. Tara died in 1

I mean I feel like people hyper fixate so much on the gore and violence and the shock value of it all when I honestly feel like I’ve seen worse. I mean compared to the early works of like Peter Jackson this feels kinda tame to me lol

1:19:32 I was the same as soon as I watched this I was on google trying to find out more,I think this is one of the reasons Art has become so iconic so quickly, you want to know more, like who/what is he? why is he so brutal with his killings? What connects him to sienna’s Dad/family? Is the little Paleface girl his first kill and she is now some sort of demon? This is very clever as I think along side the ultra-violence, it’s also part of why it’s so popular, Art is a horror Enigma (for now at least), the 3rd one is number 1 movie in USA right now so it’s working lol 🤣

The bedroom scene was inspired by one of jack the ripper’s victims. Still the most brutal death in the series so far. Also the talk show host didn’t die she survived her attack. And the girl with the messed up face is Vicki not Tara. Tara died in 1
