I love that Art was basically an instant horror movie icon. He's so scary but likeable and goofy, but in a _very_ twisted, cruel way. He almost reminde me of Freddy Krueger. A goofy but genuine threat who truly enjoys the carnage he causes to his targets. Remember, the best horror movie villains are from the movies with initially low budgets. Texas chainsaw, Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween and Friday the 13th. All started with low budgets and became beloved horror icons. Low budgets really show talented and creative directors, man.

A lot of folks don't know that this entire franchise started back in 2008 with Damien's first short film THE 9th CIRCLE. Then came the 2011 TERRIFIER short film. About the rating- it was not R, it was unrated and released direct to video in 2016! Terrifier 2 is also unrated but made its way to the theaters and 3 is also unrated. One of the only movie series to actually achieve being put in nationwide theater chains without a rating.
The Evil Dead flicks and a couple of the Hatchet movies got released in theaters unrated. Just hasn’t happened much since the late 80s-early 90s, when multiplexes started replacing independently owned theaters.
Props to Praper for being able to get this out no clue how you managed to get this movie out past YT without it being either unwatchable or immediately obliterated by the YT censors.
I don't blame Tara, the 2nd one goes even further/crazier. One of the few movies to actually make me feel slightly ill, and somehow the 3rd one is releasing in theaters! 😳
I’m so glad you said that Greg because she always reminds me of Nev! When Roxy repeats herself lolll I’m dying “I know you’re scared but you’re pulling on my wire” 🤣🤣🤣 And just overall your reactions were excellent thank you !
Personally cant do these films, but im watching everyone reviewing and reacting to them. Thankfully the worst parts are edited heavily lol, good luck guys if you go for 2 and 3
If Charlie Chaplin was in a horror film it would probably look something like Art the Clown's antics. I watched Terrifier 2 at least ten times while i was on quarantine so I guess I can say it got me through Covid-19.
I’ve watched this series so many times and just now realized the talk show host is the same person who plays the babysitter in all hallows eve, an earlier film featuring art! 😮
The first time I watched this movie it was with a bunch of friends in a basement and it was such a blast. Terrifier movies are best watched with friends imo. You guys have to react to the second one! It has a story with characters you'll be rooting for and the gore is on a whole other level.
Art pretends to get hurt, he doesn't get hurt he just wanna waste time and enjoy his kills, he is immortal he is not a human but a demon. He feel no pain he just a funny guy acting like it hurts, he can regenerate from every would even if u cut his head he is still not gonna feel pain and return as he was, he is invincible. He just enjoy to make his victims believe they doing something, all of this is gonna make them more terrified since he will still comeback no matter what. He is invincible.
Art was human in this first film. He is reanimated in Terrifier 2 because of how twisted and evil he was as a human, it attracted a demon that allows Art to survive his gunshot and come back to life, the demon also provides art with supernatural abilities that are more apparent in T2
@kyleenglot9184 yes he is "married" with a demone so he got "superpowers" he is totally invulnerable and immortal. I feel he was already possesser by a demonic entity even in the first movie because he never did any sound , when he gets attacked and wounded, so i feel in the second movie is when he actually realised the demon, and seen her with his own eyes.
i literally just asked myself this morning if and when you guys would do this movie. i’m very very glad Greg and Roxy decided to do this one… i can’t imagine how Tara would handle this series…
It’s hilarious to me that you said you wonder if you were watching it alone if you’d turn it off. I watched it alone, never heard of the franchise, saw all the terrifier 3 hype and got curious. Not long after the cooch to smooch scene I turned it off 100% no plans of finishing it. After 4 hours I finished it and went on and finished the second.. but yeah… watching this shit alone was bad news bears
Can I just say thank u for reacting. There's something about reactions (not all, a select few which u are part of) that make me enjoy movies and shows more than watching them myself for some reason. This was pure joy. I love Terrifier and similar to what yall said I respect when someone commits to whatever it is they set to do and don't follow the norm. This movie will always be iconic for that. The characters having an IQ of -100 makes u really root for the killer. And then like u said it was HIS movie he's not just the villain.
EDIT: (Because you looked up some stuff at the end, here's a little extra! DHT has been on record that he 'invents' new kills for Art anytime he becomes stressed in public, which he sees as a form of therapy for himself. He'd 'never do those', because he's actually a very kind-hearted person, but venting his anger and frustration through creativity feels healthier to him. He has actually dressed as Art numerous times, and several fans he bumps into, he will let honk Art's clown horn and will take pictures. He refuses to speak when in his Art makeup, partly because he wants to preserve the eerie atmosphere for Art, and partly because too much wear on the makeup makes Damien (the director AND SFX guy) have to reapply the prosthesis and makeup, so he's content to make small facial gestures instead of speaking. DHT is actually in a LOT of newer horror franchises coming up, because horror fans want to know what else he can do, and he is nothing if not excited that people like his approach. He regularly does fan meets, will sign literally anything a fan asks him to sign, and loves playing Art around kids, where he goes from 'killer clown' to 'fun clown friend', to show that Art isn't all monster. After 3, Leone has said that there are no plans for more Terrifier films, but that Art may return in future properties. The news lady at the start is a returning cast member from All Hallow's Eve, where she played a babysitter who watched a few haunted home video tapes that featured stories about Art the Clown. She returned in this movie as a nod to the older movies (which were mostly done in the 00s, though the full film was then re-released AS All-Hallow's Eve at a later date, hence why there was mention of multiple short films. They were just added together and made into that movie. Damien Leone was asked once what the goal of Terrifier was, and his statement on a horror movie podcast was 'we sometimes have to test the limits of gore and violence in movies. That means stepping over the line on purpose and not going back. I wanted to test those lines, and also show that we can make a horrible, nausea-inducing film using a low budget and practical effects.' I think he wasn't wrong. Also, Pete Davidson once spent a couple hundred THOUSAND when Terrifier 2 came out to rent out a whole movie theater to take the cast of SNL and pay Leone and Thornton to come watch T1 and T2 with them all. Thornton and Davidson have been on good terms since, and consider each other friends.) PRE-EDIT: What I've told everyone who has asked me about this movie is 'If you think you can handle it, you can't'. I can count on ONE HAND the number of movies I have had to get up and take a lap before I could finish. Terrifier 1 was one of those movies. 2 is easier to get through once you KNOW what you're getting into, because you have time to prepare and get into that headspace. It isn't EASY to watch 2 after 1, but it's far less of a shock. I've always said if you can HANDLE 1, you can handle 2.
I absolutely enjoy watching others watch this film for the 1st time. I watched this at home at like 2-3 am and was in awe at what Art did. Glad you guys enjoyed this one

Props to Praper for being able to get this out no clue how you managed to get this movie out past YT without it being either unwatchable or immediately obliterated by the YT censors.
When Greg just paused and looked at Rox after the one week reference lmao
Listening to Greg victim shaming! “After a while it becomes your guys’ fault.” Lol😂
I don't blame Tara, the 2nd one goes even further/crazier. One of the few movies to actually make me feel slightly ill, and somehow the 3rd one is releasing in theaters! 😳
I’m so glad you said that Greg because she always reminds me of Nev!
When Roxy repeats herself lolll I’m dying
“I know you’re scared but you’re pulling on my wire” 🤣🤣🤣
And just overall your reactions were excellent thank you !
Personally cant do these films, but im watching everyone reviewing and reacting to them. Thankfully the worst parts are edited heavily lol, good luck guys if you go for 2 and 3
David Howard Thornton’s physical comedy is on point, it leads to being genuinely terrified and amused at the same time
I started counting the times "Tara" was being mentioned but I just can't keep up. Her presence is all over the place.
“Tara….. Tara…. Tara”
::Friday The 13th Voice::
You two watching horror films together is my favorite!
I’m surprised anything from this movie made it past the RUclips censors.
“Hack me up into little pieces” remember that for the new ice none kills video
“THISISBAD” & “LOOKUP” are my 2 favorite Roxy quotes now
Lol ❤
If Charlie Chaplin was in a horror film it would probably look something like Art the Clown's antics. I watched Terrifier 2 at least ten times while i was on quarantine so I guess I can say it got me through Covid-19.
Can't believe we're doing this to Roxy
😂 same
I’ve watched this series so many times and just now realized the talk show host is the same person who plays the babysitter in all hallows eve, an earlier film featuring art! 😮
they might need therapy after seeing the bedroom scene in t2
The first time I watched this movie it was with a bunch of friends in a basement and it was such a blast. Terrifier movies are best watched with friends imo. You guys have to react to the second one! It has a story with characters you'll be rooting for and the gore is on a whole other level.
Can't wait to see the Clown Cafe reaction😂
Roxy went through some shhh during this reaction haha she looked like she needed a vodka by the end lol
Roxy is turning into an actual pretzel at 26:20. 😂
i literally just asked myself this morning if and when you guys would do this movie. i’m very very glad Greg and Roxy decided to do this one… i can’t imagine how Tara would handle this series…
I went and watched both 1 and 2 just to come back and watch Roxy react to them. I did not know what I was walking into!!!
25:48 - The fear. The terror. The claw hands.
Lmao
I seen this pop up and my first thought was “ooohhhh noooo” 😂😂
Idk how I’ve seemed to avoid this movie for this long …. So watching/listening to this while I work 😳
YOU'RE FIRED!
I was exactly like Roxy when I watched this... half way through I was watching from behind a pillow like.."what have I done?!" 😅
I've been fricking waiting for Terrifier movie reaction on this channel!!!
Terrifying Tara - The most easily spooked member of the team, lol.
Greg: Art has ninja skills
* Arts starts riding a baby tricycle *
😂
A reaction to the 2nd one would be priceless lol that bedroom scene 💀
Greg handled the split down the middle scene better then I thought I was expecting it to end the same way as his mortal kombat fatality reaction did
You guys choose Hard Mode today… I respect it lol
Can I just say thank u for reacting. There's something about reactions (not all, a select few which u are part of) that make me enjoy movies and shows more than watching them myself for some reason. This was pure joy. I love Terrifier and similar to what yall said I respect when someone commits to whatever it is they set to do and don't follow the norm. This movie will always be iconic for that. The characters having an IQ of -100 makes u really root for the killer. And then like u said it was HIS movie he's not just the villain.
Can’t believe you guys decided to watch Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul!
Roxy's did her hair amazing here 🥰
if they think this is bad, wait till they watch terrifier 2
Thornton and Davidson have been on good terms since, and consider each other friends.)
PRE-EDIT: What I've told everyone who has asked me about this movie is 'If you think you can handle it, you can't'.
You did it guys. You finally did it. You finally burned your eyes and tainted your souls 🤣 It's definitely spooky season. Good luck! 🎃
If they've seen the Hostel movies they'll be fine
Bro I'm not even joking that hacksaw scene will haunt me forever with that one shot they showed when he was sawing her....
I plan to never watch this movie hahah but watching your reactions to it is the best haha
I absolutely enjoy watching others watch this film for the 1st time. I watched this at home at like 2-3 am and was in awe at what Art did. Glad you guys enjoyed this one
I unironically LOVE this movie. Such a fun time and the practical effects are amazing. Can't wait to see T3!
