This movie is just so much fun. I love how monster and human societies have embraced each other, the "sandstorm" is hilarious, and Mel Brooks is perfect as Vlad.
A small detail I just noticed while watching this is that when Johnny is driving and looking at Mavis, his eyes flicker back and fourth from the road so he doesn’t crash. I love that
I do like the writing for Johnny and Mavis in this movie. They do feel like a young couple who recently had their first child. And especially for a sequel, I thought they did pretty well with that status quo shift.
I remember my entire theater laughed hard during the Fifth Harmony scene then suddenly Dracula changed it to some audio recording that bored everyone except him 😂😂
