What are your thoughts on this?

  • @hunni2968

People think she has been indoctrinated into a cult not because of the rhetoric of Joe Dispenza but because of what was said from her own mouth of her experiences such as claiming to heal a physically disabled man to walk. Surprised you didn’t include her own testimony in your video. Otherwise it wouldn’t be such a hot topic as alternative belief systems are not uncommon in modern times but from what she’s claimed one can see how others are concerned about her well-being.

I would definitely agree that I don't think she's in a cult either. Misinformation can cause damage if not combated properly. And she did it with love. That was the best way she possibly could have IMO.
I think it's a beautiful thing that more and more people every single day are wanting/and are learning how to meditate and find their own self awareness, healing and raising their vibrations and learning the connectedness of absolutely everything.
Keep on keeping on guys, don'tgive up. ❤

100%! I think she’s handling it really well, but it makes my stomach turn a bit that people are so ready to tear someone down when they are doing something positive for themselves. Hopefully more people decide to go inward and see what magic they find in themselves 💫😊

I second this. I DO NOT believe she is in a cult. I think she's more introspective and aware. People are pissed about her promotion of BTC but if she's an early adopter and it's now moving toward legitimate ETFs, she wasn't scamming. I don't understand the hate toward her. She truly put RUclips and makeup tutorials/creativity on the map. No-one can/should ever deny that. She's also very entrepreneurial but I think she was naive and taken advantage of in business.
I think this video is one of the more objective videos about her. Thank-you for this!

Does anyone know if that video on the joe dispenza meditation get posted? I'm curious about the results but I can't find it on her channel

I did not end up posting it because my memory card with all the footage from the month long challenge I did broke 🥲 Maybe one day I'll try filming it again!

as a fellow aries i am too curious about things like her. it seems what scares people is a "cult" when really people just need to start learning about new things. but hey thats just me

  • @hunni2968
    @hunni2968 Год назад +2

In reprogramming your mind there is definitely thought and emotion control inherently involved in regards to the new age or new thought movement Joe dispenza is apart of as a kind of necessity of “programming” a new mindset. Take this however you will.

Came here from one of the gossip channels. I've loved following Michelle's journey, shes just beautiful. But she's human and for sure like you said, needs to be aware of some things she says because of her massive following. But it's just really sad to see everyone look at a meditation retreat and immediately label it a cult. Don't quote me on this but I'm pretty sure monks wake up early and have to do chores around the temple and meditate all day and have limited access to the outside world. You don't see those same people calling buddhist monks a cult.

Thank you so much for making this video!!! You hit the nail on the head!! 👏
I wish this video had way more views than the drama channels. You came from a place of neutrality and understanding rather than inciting drama, gossip, and fear. You can tell the ignorant comments on Michelle's video are from people blindly following drama channels (which is ironic - speaking of 'cults' 🙄)
I wish Michelle so much peace and growth on her spiritual journey! She's doing amazing and I love to see it. 🙌

Most are still not open to spirituality sadly :( I share your viewpoint that everyone has their own truth and it's okay. But when a retreat is seen as a "cult" that's when everyone needs to take a step back and assess their own biases. If anything it's more brainwashed to call something you're not familiar with a cult.

It's still dangerous because you can't see inside a person. The sweetest nicest charismatic people sometimes turned out to be serial killers or psychpaths.
So to be aware is good.
To not fall into money scamms to.
    Or to not get isolated.
I can't tell if this guy is ok or dangerous, no idea.
But what I realised is that when we have stuff going on that is weighing and to much sometimes you can fall into this trap and loose yourself in it.
Heck when I was a teen I saw lots of ghosts to and did meditation and stuff yes but was that real? Because I wonder if that's a part of self made hallucinations or so.

Isn't any small religious group before it's mainstream called a cult... So anything any religion was a cult at some point. Definition of cult: a system of religious veneration and devotion directed toward a particular figure or object. Shit then I'm in cults. Really I think we don't realize this and what we really should be asking is, how is she doing? I love Phan and your video on this. But just my take 💖

I'm trying not to be angry but my goodness, the comment section under her video is very exaggerated. They are so dramatic and twisted everything she wrote about/talked about, and hyperfixated on things that aren't even bad.
People said "Oh, the fact she gets 4 hours of sleep is a cult tactic because this is how cults win you over" Dude this is not a cult. Them getting 4 hours of sleep wasn't for the purpose of indoctrinating them, it was probably so their brain waves were slower. And they did this for only a week, after they get to go home and sleep normally. I don't see the problem with that.
Michelle's demeanor is very telling that she wasn't in a cult. She's super chill and just like "Hey, believe what you wanna believe." She's not brainwashed and convincing her audience to go on the retreat and doesn't seem unstable at all. She never even explained to her audience about what she learned or persuaded them to do anything.
What gets me is a lot of comments said her saying she healed a disabled man is disgusting...how?!? If that's her experience, then that's her experience. The only disgusting thing about it is people claiming it's impossible to do that. These are real life experiences they're not made up. You can't call every single person in the world who cured their disease a liar. I do agree with you that she shouldn't have posted that on her story, if you haven't learned about these things in depth then your natural reaction will be "Oh my god saying you can heal a disabled man is harmful." I myself don't touch on this topic besides to other open minded people, it's a very touchy subject.
You can definitely cure disease through meditation, however it takes time, sometimes years. While I've never had cancer or been disabled I have cured a lot of my conditions including hypothyroidism, asthma, allergies, eczema, fibromyalgia, and social anxiety. The truth is many people have an issue with the victim mentality, they spiral into it and convince themselves they have no control over their life. I'm passionate about all this because I was in the EXACT same position as the commenters before I began my spiritual journey, I would've also thought Michelle is irrational.

I 100% agree with everything you said and thank you for sharing your thoughts!
I completely forgot to talk about the whole “sleep deprivation” conversation! I definitely agree with you on that, plus there are many nuances and she never explained the reasoning behind that. I think if she would have explained that part better it could have stopped this whole thing. Personally, I was thinking maybe they set an alarm and put on headphones and a meditation around 3am and laid in bed just hovering above actually being asleep for a few hours because around that time of night you’re heavily in your subsconcious. But who knows, it’s only for a week!
On a side note, I’m so happy that you have had such incredible experiences with meditation and seen such profound results! I think anyone who gives meditation a REAL try would feel and experience a similar thing.
There is no doubt in my mind that meditation can do powerful things, but unfortunately some people just aren’t ready to accept that information.. yet. I’m excited for the day that most people will be 😊☀️

      Hi there,
I understand what you’re saying; I partake in meditation and other energy healing practices as a disabled person. I’m also a psychic medium and read tarot for others. Although I don’t agree with what people are saying under Michelle’s video, I can understand some of the hurt and trauma the disabled community has gone through.
I have multiple autoimmune syndrome, one of my chronic illnesses being multiple sclerosis which can be pretty harsh. Though I definitely believe in the power of meditation and how it helps me manage my symptoms, I think it would be unfair to say it can heal everything (I know that’s not what you’re implying!). (:
The disabled community has been so hurt and misunderstood by doctors and able bodied people for years. One of the things that actually drove me and others away from spirituality was when someone told me to “just try yoga” after telling them I had MS. Obviously, yoga 100% has helped, but it can feel dismissive when someone tells you that. Sometimes we just want someone to listen and be empathetic instead of gives us advice, you know?
It’s unfortunate because it drives a wedge between disabled folks and spirituality but everyone has their own journey that’s not ours to judge. I agree with you that if that’s Michelle’s experience, then it’s just that. However, I think it would also be great to caution sending that type of message about every disabled person. Does that make sense? Sorry, I just thought I’d give my perspective (:

I hate bandwagonners 🤦🏽‍♂️ , I feel like I’ve been on this journey or should I say still on this journey . They didn’t actually care if she was in it or not they just wanted to go off of what others have said so if anything the people who were saying she is in a cult are actually in one because they can’t think for themselves !
