Too bad both of you didn't get to be extras! Shame the buildings don't remain how they were. Leave iconic locations the way the were in movies even after filming! The Double Deuce in Roadhouse(Patrick Swayze) was just for the film, it was a working set as far as the bar scenes...
Went by old Reddick HS today, the Jailhouse from movie, it has been demolished, no trace left. 😢 Missed getting to see it. The lot is fenced off, says no trespassing, looks like they're prepping to build again possibly on lot. Great video! Priceless now ❤

Hey Tampa Jay! I am from Ocala. Just thought I'd let you know a cool little factoid. My mother actually worked on that movie as a locations director. We have many props from the movie including some Ravens! Man are they scary. I love driving down the road in Ocala and seeing her say "Yep picked that spot for a certain scene in the horror flick.
It's pretty amazing how much these locations have changed over the course of 20 years, but at least to this day these places are known for making cinematic history, and i think the reason why buildings like the school and the diner look abandoned today is because i think they pretty much are abandoned and whoever owns the buildings now just don't do anything with them.
As a kid, I would watch films and get that tingly feeling inside, day dreaming about being a actor, on location. Creating a piece of art that eventually everyone would get to see and enjoy, as i became a adult, i started doing extra and stand in work for tv shows and movies just so i could be in that environment.

Yeah, living near places where movies were filmed is great, because I live near the wild adventures theme park, where they shot the amusement park sequence for ZOMBIELAND. Yup, that's true. Just outside of valdosta Ga. Good place to go, especially with the family and lots of fun rides.
Hi Tampa yet another great movie indeed not sure if u remember i was the 1 who recommended u do the iconic 2005 The Girl Next Door locations and like u say waiting till Covid is a lot better and less risk to be able to get back out hunting down more iconic movie locations would you be able to show actual video clips of the actual movie for each scene then pause and replay when you get to where the next shot was captured ie in this case JEEPERS CREEPERS as u are pointing out where each shot of each scene i feel would be better than stills from your phone or if not showing the full movie on your phone as u point out where each scene was shot from. Even better a Split screen just showing the locations under while playing the actual movie
Jeepers Creepers for me has a big message for all of us. It all depends which part of your body is doing/seeing/watching evil. That's why many of characters were seen with something missing: eyes, ears, abdomen (womb). A hand....you name it.
🙌🏻Thank you for bringing me back to when life was a little more simple, and going to the movies was a lot more enjoyable. I remember all these scenes as if it were yesterday. Even after 20+ yrs my wife still won’t watch it😝 Nice job🤘🏻
J u had us laughing in this video. Watching you sing and watching you act out the driving scenes was absolutely hysterical. You’re awesome
Hello Tampa oh brilliant man this film really scares me. I cant believe its 20 years. Tampa thankyou for all your hard work research fabulous 💯💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
Yeah, living near places where movies were filmed is great, because I live near the wild adventures theme park, where they shot the amusement park sequence for ZOMBIELAND. Yup, that's true. Just outside of valdosta Ga. Good place to go, especially with the family and lots of fun rides.
Sweet video! You do great work! Love the random filming locations!!
Thank you
Sooooo cooool dude loved it keep them coming . ..much ahead
Thanks buddy :)
Great Video Jay ! Stay Safe an Healthy out there!! :)
One of my most fav. movies ever. Very nice !
Omygosh jay I LOVE this one! 1 of my fave movies!! I really enjoyed this
I’m glad you enjoyed it it was so much fun to make thank you Ashley
Jeepers Creepers for me has a big message for all of us. It all depends which part of your body is doing/seeing/watching evil. That's why many of characters were seen with something missing: eyes, ears, abdomen (womb). A hand....you name it.
Awesome video jay !! I did t no jeeper creepers was filmed there pretty cool now.
Thanks buddy
🙌🏻Thank you for bringing me back to when life was a little more simple, and going to the movies was a lot more enjoyable. I remember all these scenes as if it were yesterday. Even after 20+ yrs my wife still won’t watch it😝 Nice job🤘🏻
This is awesome!!! I have to visit these spots next time i visit family in dunellon,fl so cool!
OH wow.....I'm only bout an hour if that from these filming locations in the Ocala area....
Gonna head out there in the morning 👍💯
Great job Tampa Jay!! Really enjoyed your video
Oh wow this is the first ever horror i watched as a little girl. this is amazing, great video.
Another great Trip thx a lot :-)
Thank you Oliver
This was awesome. I live in Orlando i didn't know that this was filmed so close. Thx
Thank you Joe
Beautiful scenery, please do more👍👍👍
Excellent location vid of one of my fav horror movies. Bama Mike recommended.
J u had us laughing in this video. Watching you sing and watching you act out the driving scenes was absolutely hysterical. We live in South Florida by fort Lauderdale and never knew that Jeepers creepers was filmed up in the Ocala area. We actually have family that live in Ocala and Dunnellon. Keep up the great work thank you for the entertainment.
Thanks Lisa I’m happy I could entertain I appreciate that so much
@@TampaJay It's obvious that you are multi-talented 😁 Who knows you could end up with your own show one day. Ever watch expedition unknown with Josh gates? That's exactly who you remind me of. He loves going to these places, and he appreciates where he's at and what's something is all about. And because of his enthusiasm and his being funny it allows his audience to enjoy it just as much as him if not more. We will be watching more of your videos today, LOL.
One of my favorite horror movies . Thanks
I had no idea the Reddick school was in the movie lol I used to live about 500yds gown the road
Great video! Love this movie!
Thank you Jeremy happy to hear you enjoyed it
I could tell jeepers was filmed in Florida cause they looked sweaty as heck 🥵 the diner/gas station was 👊🏻 omg I’d love to stop at that!!! So awesome
It'll really suck to have car trouble on a long deserted stretch of road like that.
You know how many times in my life I travel up-and-down that exact road?? It makes sense tho bc Ocala is literally that... just one long endless, deserted, two lane highway
So cool!! I love filming locations !! I went on a tour of The walking dead filming locations it was sooo fun
That’s awesome Dawn love TWD!
@@TampaJay come to senoia Georgia!! You won’t regret it !! It’s amazing
