Oh man this is awesome. Definitely want to visit this house sometime in our lives. Scream is our top slasher/horror film of all time. Narrowly beating out Halloween. Also love the Scream shirt, which we also own. Can't wait for more Scream locations.
Halloween will always be my favorite! My sister is also a HUGE Halloween fan, but Scream is still 1 of the classics too! I also love Texas Chainsaw Massacre. While Friday The 13th & Nightmare On Elm. Street are classics too, I was never a big fan of the films, only of Jason & Freddy. I used to dress as Freddy Krueger for Halloween as a child.

Ah man this brings back too many memories. The day and age when this movie came out cannot be replicated. They were simply the best. Everyone wearing their Ghost Face costumes to the movie theatre. You can't even do that nowadays. #RIP Wes Craven.

We actually named our eldest daughter Nevada, as my hubby wanted that but we call her neve for short as i wanted to name her after neve Campbell. I wanted my daughter to have a name that literally kicks ass

Scream is most definitely a classic, and it’s awesome how much of the house, especially that kitchen, have remained the same. And so cool that they left the scratches and dents in the door.

@@danielleschiazza6172it’s not. The original owners passed away in the house leaving it vacant & that’s when Wes & the crew came to film Scream. I believe it was the owner’s family who gave them permission to use the house for filming.

The Scream movies were the best thing Wes ever directed, including most of my horror faves from him. I loved them because of its ingenious way of being a horror film within the love of old slasher horror films, and the best plot stories they made for each sequel for Sidney, Gale, and Dewey. Too bad they won't make two more sequels after Scream 4, which they wanted to do, but it does make sense after Sidney and her friends wanted to finally put an end to the Ghostface killings from that film (even though Scream 3 was supposedly the finale of finding Sidney's mother's true killer and putting an end to him.).

My first thought when I saw this was “isolation”, here in the UK we just don’t see this and it always astounds me how “the middle of nowhere” some places in the us truly are
There's something about seeing this after it's been filmed, gives off such an awesome feeling. Seeing it after all the history, all the changes years later. Seeing a spot where an actor stood is really cool. All of this puts a smile on my face, and makes my day.
I’m glad they actually used the whole house for the movie rather then just filming the outside for exterior shots and just using sets built in a studio for the inside.
