In a nutshell, Wal Mart DOES have SOME decent equipment (some I wouldn’t touch) IF you’re in a pinch or need something right away and can’t wait for something to be shipped.
Their is a lot of content creators in the boxing scene, but you’re definitely one of the best out here. Consistent quality content, no clickbait. Keep it up man 40k soon.
Can guarantee that those Venum mouthguard are decent. I took a counter straight to the jaw last week and still have all of my pearly whites using the challenger mouthguard.
My Walmart recently had a sale on athletic equipment and I ended getting the venum boxing gloves and punching bag for under $90. Will be my first boxing equipment and I can’t wait to get started.
This really takes me back to my humble beginnings in boxing, my first pair of gloves I've owned is the Everlast Muhammad ali signature collection pro style boxing gloves for $23 I think, these were a 12oz, and at the time I wasn't aware of the size and type of gloves to use, like I just wanted a pair of gloves, but I can't believe I was sparring with these gloves too, then one day my trainer told me these are novelty type of gloves and told me to buy their gloves which was the Title 16oz black max sparring gloves for about $30 they're ok and alot safer to use, but that was my beginning of doing my research on what boxing gloves to use, now sometime I'm hoping to do some muay thai, cuz I want to learn how to kick, and so far I'm interested in getting some top king gloves and for boxing I like to try the Rival RS11 which you recommend me getting a couple years back
@@nicksalvatore5717 yeah I still feel guilty about that, wish my trainers would've warned me about that before I'm glad I did some research later on thank you
I cannot make a proper fist inside the Everlast gloves. Is there another kind of fist for boxing gloves? My fist will not be flat so all the impact is on the middle knuckles and my thumb is off to side instead underneath.
I’m having trouble picking a glove for around $100. Mostly for heavy bag work, i already have Cleto Reyes hook and loop 14 oz (16 oz actual weight). Looking for a Velcro 10 oz with good protection. Kind wanting something from Everlast for some reason, but doesn’t have to be.
Surprisingly the Venum classics at 12oz are great for my Bob. You get a good pop solid contact. They're not gonna last a year but for 30 bucks I don't care.
I just bought a place holder pair of gloves from Walmart and it was 34.00 but on for 7.00 . It'll do for a place holder till I get the black and red gloves by Meister MMA.
I think it would be great for someone to make a camera system for watching you hit the punching bag and knowing the bag's weight and observing the change in momentum could display your total strike power. It could also be able to tell the speed of the strike from the moment related movement began until the initial impact. This could be a great training tool for all.
This venum chalenger is most comfortable boil&bite mouthguard I ever tried... It also has good "bite in" and from there on you can count on it's protection... Protection is not the Best I have tried from boil&bite... ButI tried many... Shock doctor gel max power disapointed me that much that I couldn't even wear that becouse it was to dangerous.. It has realy bad edge and that edge definetly cut you inside ... So if you want shock doctor Just go with regular gel max..
@@csquaredboxing ruclips.net/video/oG8A5sithuM/видео.html here are some details about challenger mouthguard... I have in plan to try out venum predator.. It is 3 layered so it has to be more protective and it is Just 5$ more.... Here challenger is 15€ and predator is 21€ full price
I'm thinking of buying the cleto reyes from ebay there 191.96$ 12 oz i have done boxing in my shed for like 1 month should i buy them carlo yeah trinna get the tiger ones
yea i got some venum gloves that worked decent but have no real padding compared to more expensive gloves.. yea those venum classics they are okay but real gloves made my hands not hurt at all. (edit) yea i commented to early but those gloves should have padding over the firm padding but still decent gloves id say for needed them that day
NO FUCKING WAY BRO!!! I'm at cannon afb in clovis NM! this place is so small and shitty lol. I've been watching your videos for a while and I did not expect to hear you say that you were stationed here also. Walmart is the only thing we have here!
@@csquaredboxing oh those burritos are 🔥. Allsups also has these green chile cheese quesadillas now and they're pretty awesome. How long has it been since you've been in clovis?
Those Pro Styles are the reason I have a messed up knuckle on my left. Granted I didn’t know how to punch properly, but isn’t it the reason we wear glove to protect our hand?
@@quangminhvu9542 exactly good gloves are supposed to protect your hands and make a good fist and punch, those Pro Styles almost absolutely messed up my thumbs the gloves don't make a natural fist position the thumb lays outside instead of inside the fist and no protection no good padding.. I hope I can get better gloves sometime soon I was thinking about the Powerloco Pro Fights they're much more expensive but I believe they're worth it since many champions use them
@@patrickliterallymebateman9892 i would say just stay away from Everlast for now, until they clean up their mess. I don’t know if you live in America or not, but there is a brand called Trideer on Amazon. Their boxing glove, while not looking sleek, offer great protection for your knuckles and wrists. I used a pair of Trideer for like 2 years, until I can afford my Rivals. My hands never feel pain after heavy bag training anymore, unlike those crap Pro Styles. Also the reason why you see so many pro fighters use Everlast in fights and public training sessions, it’s because they have endorsements deal. They have to use Everlast in public.
Get the 14 oz as a start. It's a universal glove. Because it has enough padding for not only sparring but decent knuckle protection when hitting the heavy bag or mitts.
