That's how popular and succesfull this orchestra is. Our theathers have not yet come on top after the lockdown and Covid, and because of inflation people are wary using money on culture and not just essential things like heat and foot. But apparently DR' s symphonys orchestra is essential too 😉😘😉
As always, a performance that is beyond words. The music, the staging and of course Miss Semmingsen. Her voice is excellent. And just watch her facial expressions as she sings.
Its wonderful. I agree that Tuva S. does a wonderful job in all that I have seen her in. Her facial expressions absolutely help sell the performance. Do not discount the fact that this orchestra probably has the best classical sop. in the world. Her voice is heard most any time that she chooses to be heard.

I think this was pure awesome. If you look at the other clips for Highlander and Game of Thrones, they only projected the face of the singer or dragons (Narnia projected the lamp post) but the tree base implies that the Elcrys WAS the main base for it all..
It's blasphemy that a 64 year old rock and roll, heavy metal, and bluegrass lover would actually have a favorite orchestra and a couple of favorite sopranos. I love these guys and girls.
I was in our school band from 5th to 12th grade, I was the Band Captain in 1989-1990, I love all forms of music, from high school to college, to Orchestra, This Orchestra is amazing, the choir and the sopranos especially.

She is an opera singer and to do opera you must also be an actor. You are right, though. The whole performance is totally rocks!
