      Hans Zimmer's mentor is Ennio Morricone. Hans Zimmer decided to dedicate himself to music after seeing Once Upon a Time in the West when he was 12 years old, so Hans Zimmer represents the continuity of Morricone's work. In several of his films he has included a dedication to Morricone's music such as in the soundtrack of "Dune".

    Notwithstanding the death and suffering that Coronavirus has had on the world, but it shows the world we live in that we battle on and play to empty theatres. What should have been a packed house with family there to watch their loved ones we see a video of emptiness.
    Well done to those who performed as though the crowds were there, they are a credit to the Royal Marines, a credit to the country and the bravest of the brave.
    Thank you for the protection and sacrifices you provide, that I and others can live under that umbrella of that safety .

    When I watched The Good, the Bad and the Ugly a hundred times in a week 1990. I started to take note of this suspense track and thought it was very spectacular. Music can turn on feelings where words cannot express. Excellent rendition by this orchestra. The vocal is quite angelic.

    • @Eadbhard
      @Eadbhard 10 месяцев назад +1

      It took you a hundred times to realize this song is VERY spectacular? Are you a little slow in the head? No wonder why you have difficulty expressing the way music makes you feel. You watched the "Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" a 100 times within the coarse of a week? That averages to be about 14 times a day. How the hell did you do that? The running time of the movie is 3 hours! WTF? You sound like a moron, Rockingman.

    Right up there with the version performed by the Danish National Symphony... Both versions are simply WOW WOW WOW!!! I must amend my initial statement a smidgen, this version is on par with that of the Danish National Symphony. That voice. OMG that voice is just one Marine, the Danish version is one lead vocalist with several backup voices... BRAVO young Marine, BRAVO!!!

      You can't be serious. This is a much shortened version. The Danish National Symphony has substance and backbone and goes for 6 minutes. Will see if this has 85 million views in 3 years. Good voice but that's it . . .

    Godlike beauty! This is an expression, perhaps one of the clearest expressions, of the resplendent power of the human race. Yes, sadly, our greed guides us. But when the time finally comes to actually seize the treasure, do we really even need it anymore? Haven't we all, by that time, seen beyond the material? Aren't we all, by that time, treating with the eternal?
