I am glad I stumbled on Tuva Semmingsen with the Danish National Symphony Orchestra on Stingray Classical. What great joy I got from listening to them! This is music that needs to be heard by everyone who loves music.
People who have not experienced the spaghetti western theme by this orchestra and this lady won't know what you mean by Wha, Wha Lady is all about. As I said in an earlier post, everything I have seen by this orchestra is stellar. I you haven't seen this group with Gary Brooker and Procol Harum doing ,"Whiter Shade of Pale" you should find it and listen.

Then we couldn't get into Aliens, so we "settled" for this sort of unknown movie called Highlander that night. I was blown away because I had no idea that Queen did the music for this, but this was a truly magnificent song along with "Princes of the Universe". Talk about getting lucky seeing a movie we knew nothing about.
Good lord. If that was not the stupidest character ever played by Sean Connery.... even so, it was one of the highest points in the movie. I am always contrary to remakes, but I am willing to accept it for Highlander because boy that movie sucks.
Tuva Semmingsen is just amazing. First saw her as the whistling wawa girl in another pretty awesome video this orchestra did. Very talented person for sure!!!
Tuva is an impressive singer. Also loved her whistling and other sound effects during the Good, Bad And The Ugly concert. Truly talented lady and beautiful too.
That was a great scene and one of the reasons I get so pissed when people feel compelled to hate on this movie. There was an awful lot that was very cool with it.

Tuva was a criticly aclaimed opera singer round the world, before she performed in these themed concerts from DR(national danish radio and tv public service channel) symphony orchestra. She is so amazing and versatile 😀😃🙂
I got absolute chills when Tuva Semmingsen sang the "who waits forever, anyway" line. She sells the emotion so well it transfers directly into the listener.
Tuva has a beautiful voice, and she was just the right one for this one. These video performances are just all together excellent to me. The video work, the overall production work, these performances are just great.

There is something about Tuva’s voice. Lots of singers have beautiful voices. But Tuva’s is distinct and has character. That’s a great quality to have as a singer.
For the variety of music, I give the Danish Orchestra a A+, a country of 5 million pays and supports this artistic enterprise.The guitar looks like a Gibson 335. Great!

Simply spectacular! Phenomenal! The best orchestra today. A singer who is super versatile and with a powerful and angelic voice. A perfect coral. And to close with a golden key, a sensational guitar solo. Too bad the audience was very restrained in the applause. They deserved much more obeisances.
This is a flawless performance. I loved everything about it. I can't say how many times I've listened to this in the past few years since I've found it.
I do not think this beautiful singer and the Danish Orchestra will stop trying to satisfy the world with some of the most wonderful covers of the last 75 years. Everything I have found by this orchestra has been amazing. Since it is unlikely I will ever be fortunate enough to experience one of their concerts in person would someone post an entire concert by them. I would be eternally grateful.

It's a permanent orchestra. They seek out new musicians as old ones retire or die. It's so old, all the current members were probably hired at different times. They also host the international talent show for orchestra conductors.

My compliments to the people who put this little group together, I can't imagine the hours of spent finding all these great musicians and choir.......Truly outstanding. I vote for a world tour......Impossible I know. Still, I would love to see them live. And thank you, the Danish National Symphony Orchestra.

It's a permanent orchestra. They seek out new musicians as old ones retire or die. It's so old, all the current members were probably hired at different times. They also host the international talent show for orchestra conductors.
