In my most humble opinion, Freddie Mercury would be quite impressed with this version. He was an amazing showman who loved music and performing and embraced the essence of the music and put his heart and soul in each and every note to show the rest of the world the beauty that he saw in it. Same!
you're not the only one
No one mentions Brian May, he wrote this beautiful song. It's a timeless classic.
It's Brian's song, any Queen fan knows and loves him for it. We're still here Freddy.
Well ✔ done chills 👏 great focus
Ho yes
I was thinking the same thing. Ty, Brian, for such a lovely piece of music!
He sang it too
Oh my gosh that was breathtaking
A perfect example of how a song can be done in many different ways, and all of them can be beautiful. Seriously moved me to tears.
“You can do what you want with my music, remake it, resell it but never make me boring."
- Freddie Mercury
"I want to lead the Victorian life, surrounded by exquisite clutter."
Actual FM quote. I think this vid pretty much does that for him.
@Adin Silajdzija Freddie*
Amen!
@Adin Silajdzija Dude, he isn't saying it's bad...
He never said remake it or re-sell it but ok.
Honestly, I shed a few tears listening to this. It does the Queen version justice, as hearing that song always makes me cry. It was very beautiful imagery and I understand what they were trying to accomplish in this. I would love to see you guys perform this with the actual band, because I think it would be epic.
To those who are leaving negative reviews or even worse, grow up. You are so used to the original thing, be it music or TV shows or the like, that you don't leave yourself with an open mind that it might actually be good.
I believe that Freddie and the rest of Queen would (or do) like this if they were (or have) to see it.
Me too☝️
Such a beautiful song by queen. And these guys voices bring it to life again. If only freddy could hear them. And that piano and beautiful violin. Wow wow wow.
This is the BEST cover of this song EVER. Freddie is looking down from above and clapping furiously every time someone plays it!
Believe you are exactly right ,,,,,,,love this song !!!! Bravo to these guys !!!!!
Shit, fuck, bollocks, how have I missed this? Full ferking stop!
I like the Opera version
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. Hebrews 9;27.
Make every effort to enter through the narrow door. For many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able. Luke 13;24
Go ye through the strait gate, bec5wide is the gate, and broad the way that is leading to the destruction, and many are those going in through it...... Matthew 7:13
If he did not have a relationship with God then he will live forever in hell ..... tormented for eternity.
Ad he is loving the wardrobe too! He'd have loved to done this video.
This song has always made me tear up. But this version is in my small opinion the best cover version I have heard. The video is great too.
I am obsessed with this version. I love the vampires! So heartbreaking though!
@@journeygirl4ever a powerful music video. i am not what you would call a fan of the vampire genre. But this music video is beautifully put together. It is just sad that one of the guys has left the group now.
@@janetthomson6815 I agree, Im not into vampires either but it just TOTALLY FIT this song/video!! They're amazing!!
Beautiful presentation. I’m brought to tears also.
I am a purist when it comes to Queen, but this version is truly worthy of praise! Beautiful!
This is a masterpiece. Freddie must be proud ❤
Adding Linsey Sterling to this was genius. A magical rendition of a powerful song made better by a stunning and talented violinist.
Yes, pity you couldn't get her name right.
OMGOSH! How the heck did I miss this?? There's something about this period of dress, the style of the 17th, 18th centuries that I simply adore... Combined with their incredible voices.
I'm in Heaven.
😇
" A man who lives forever can never enjoy the moment and a man who lives in the moment can enjoy it forever."
I disagree with the first part of your statement. But I completely and wholeheartedly agree with the second part.
Absolutely Love this ❤ Would love to see Linsey in concert 😍
I have to believe that Freddie Mercury would have considered this a tribute to him, and would have enjoyed it immensely. Well done!
Whyy??? Brian May wrote it!
Definitely the greatest rendition of this iconic song to date. The tenors and Lindsey Stirling absolutely rock a great song.
Best cover.
Lindsey Sterling’s violin was an amazing addition to this wonderful tribute to Freddie.
This is stunning! Gives me Chills. Freddy would've loved this!
My God this is so dramatic...
I love it!!
I think the Tenors did an amazing job with this song. They were not trying to make a "remake" of the song . But make their own omage to Queen. And they did just that. ❤
Every time I hear this song. No matter who does it. All I think of is HIGHLANDER.
That would be correct.
Same :)
1978 32 same!
1978 32 Me too.
SAME!
This is by far the most cinematic music video that I have seen. Now I want to see an entire musical movie based on this video, even though I know how it's going to end. Absolutely stupendous. The roles suit each tenor perfectly. The storyline is a clincher.❤❤😢
This has got to be the sexiest cover of a Queen song ever, particularly the guy with the southern European sounding opera voice wearing the hat. Oh. My. God. I want a full-length movie.
Aileen Harkwood I agree! Love the group! The one is top hat is Victor. I could listen to him and Remigio (the one holding the torch) all day!
You had better get in the queue then lol!
The first time I showed this to my mom and Victor started singing she legit said "Oooh! That one! I'll take one of him."
Me too. OMG. They look so hot. The guy with the top hat and the other taller long dark hair. They all would have been good on "The Originals"
Same!😂😂😂
I'm not usually all that impressed by covers, but this one hit me in the feels. It's a great tribute to Freddy Mercury and Queen at it's high, as well as to a great movie but also a work of art in it's own right. I simply love the whole look and feel.
@Daniel Appleton beautifully expressed
His name was FREDDIE.
@@przytulanka1979 I stand corrected, but i think we can all agree there was only one lead singer for Queen.
Stfu...
I have to say, I have a very deep attachment to this song, it was played at a very difficult time in my life and all of the emotion that goes with it was amplified by the angelic harmony in this rendition.
I think Freddie would have been proud that they covered this song
This was soooo powerful. Freddie would be smiling. 🙏
I cry every time I watch this video. Which is a lot. Such a beautiful rendition of a powerful song. Bravo.
How are you doing 😊
I'd totally watch a movie with these guys in a vampire opera like a Interview with a Vampire meets Phantom of the Opera type style. Gorgeous and talented.
I definitely got twilight vibes of this video. And that is about as bad as it gets.
Not vampire immortal warriors ok one was a vapire
ABsoLUTEly❣
Given Freddie's love of opera and that vocal sound, he would have loved this.
This ain't opera, not even close
lelomaquina69 it may not be opera, but he did make an album with queen called Night at the Opera. He would have loved this version as well as the one that was originally made. So it may not be opera and I just got off topic, but yes he would have loved this theatrical style of the song as it has the feeling of Opera.

@@bigdickenergysince1776 ❤Maybe George Michael would done something awesome there.
An absolute masterpiece!
Our Freddie could only be dancing in paradise hearing this, the instruments, the voices, pure magic!
Just viewed..Wow!!..beautiful tenor voices on their own, when they harmonize..exquisite!!
"...when love must die~!" Oh gosh I get shivers every time I hear that line. It's just so perfectly, brilliantly sung with so much emotion in four words.
L❤ve never dies she's stronger then death🙃
You are so right...i can't breathe
I have never been so moved. The video was so amazing and their incredible voices. More people need to be aware of their incredible talent. What a blessing to be able to hear and see this video
Just beautiful. The voices, the violin, the entire video was
stunning.
This is just Lovely. Let's never lose the thought of Brian May sitting in a cab in the rain, writing the first lines of this song. Because of his enormous talent, we have this beautiful song.
And singing the opening verse. Its what makes Freddie's opening of the second verse so powerful.
@@spikedee1538 you're so right, Brian sets it up for Freddie, together they kill it
And a rocket scientist at that! 🤓
@@spikedee1538
Nothing against Brians singing but Freddies version for the film and live doesnt lack anything without Brian
It isnt less good
А никто и не забывает.
Все фанаты QUEEN в курсе, что это шедевр Брайана.
И дай Бог ему долгие лета и здравия.
The emotion this brings up in me is almost too much to handle. I'm so in love with this. Thank you for such beauty.
Exactly 💙
I already LOVE this! AWESOME guys, musicians, ALL of t!
I agree wholeheartedly with those that say Freddie would have loved this cover. Brilliantly done. Bravo!
Absolutely beautiful. You can actually feel the pain in the song.
I’m the most fervent Queen fan there is and this is so beautiful! Brought tears to my eyes and gave me chills just like Freddie does. I truly believe Freddie would love this. The music, use of many instruments, the harmonizing of voices.
Glorious
The balls it takes to cover a fredfie master piece, well done and you guys have the balls, well done. Not many can cover freddie and pull it off. I had to hear it to belive it, i am a believer, well done. Freddie would bow to this.
For sure
A dramatic interpretation of Queen's beautiful composition. So happy I found this and more of The Tenor's music.
This is brilliant! I agree Freddie would indeed have loved this.
I normally don't comment, besides the comments that everyone else has stated. I would also like to add that the videography is absolutely awesome. I would much rather see a vampire movie like this than seeing one with sparkles any day.
it reminds me veeeeeery much (and I guess it's been inspired by it) of interview with a vampire..
@@SaravonKrolock81 Freddie is smiling from the Great Beyond.
Agreed 💯!
É praticamente um trailer de um filme de vampiros e amores perdidos no tempo, simplesmente perfeito .
the best music video ever. the song! i love to sing along.
In my most humble opinion, Freddie Mercury would be quite impressed with this version. He was an amazing showman who loved music and performing and embraced the essence of the music and put his heart and soul in each and every note to show the rest of the world the beauty that he saw in it. I love music and many different genres- this particular version of this beautiful song shows that so many things in life can be in harmony if we just allow it to happen and enjoy the show. Well done, Tenors! And Linsey as well- your mastery of your instrument is a gift for the world. Keep making beautiful music, everyone!💕
