What a wonderfull truck. Loved that colour setting. Maybe i put some antenna rods on the mirrors. Great truck. Greats from Richard from the Netherlands
@@HobbyconceptsLLC I'm glad you're enjoying your new pup! Thanks for the tip about the turn signals, I was going to drill from the back your way is even easier!
You always make it look so easy. And your trucks come out looking awesome. I used to build models when I was a kid but just wondered how hard theses are to build. After watching some of your videos I think the transmission would be the hardest for me to put together. One day I think I am going to take the plunge and buy one and see how hard it is to put together. After all I am retired and have plenty of time. Keep up the great work
Turned out to be an awesome build. I love the blue, not big on the red and blue combo but thats just personal preference. The outcome of this rig is just amazing.
Nice job. Nothing wrong with that red, it goes well with the cab colour. Interesting build, especially the hop ups. This one has to go on my "to do" list 👍🏻
Great shop helper you have there, Bob. Great video as well. Your videos have helped me quite a bit with my build. Stay safe, stay happy, and God bless!
I am impressed, the truck looks gorgeous, and the extras just finish it off nicely. You have inspired me to get my kit out and start building again, I have a few Tamiya kits gathering dust, time for them to shine.
What a difference it made with those inexpensive upgrades. The colour scheme matches perfect and the truck looks absolutely beautiful 😍😍😍 Thank you so much for the video Bob this helps heaps for my Globe liner build.
Love the build my friend I will have to build one now I am not a huge fan of the red but that is what makes us all different. I am customizing my Grand Hauler I cut the fenders off and got some 3D printed ones and I am way out of my comfort zone by trying to work with styrene for first time to this scale!!!
I like the red for the visor and air deflector because I looks like a new unfinished part to yet be decided on color but I would have painted the ladder steps aluminum or kept them chrome. All in all I really like your builds and tips. You help us all with waist to expect when building a vehicle. Keep up the awesome builds
Bob, many semi trucks run what we call Tactical lights, which are usually red, however if hot could build a scale cb radio, those blue lights would look cool in the radio or Back lighting the instrument panel
Thank you for the post. Very useful and informative. I may not agree with your color scheme but that doesn't detract from your skill in RC building nor your skill in communication. Keep it up.
Thanks, I would not have done the flat red either but I had a client mention it and it sorta stuck in my head. So I tried it and glad I did, something different!
Good stuff. Lots of helpful tips. I enjoyed seeing how you change the look and style of the truck from "almost too pretty" into something a bit more daring. Good video voice! :)
Nice project. You have certainly chosen a nice color for the Globeliner. I don't think I would have chosen red for the side steps myself. Furthermore, very nicely finished and well explained what you have done.
Real nice job, the red looks great! Hopefully this kind of builds, convinces more people to step into the hobby. After all, it doesn't have to be that expensive to get a blast with it. Thanks sharing this again Bob!😃 By the way, congrats with Winston, he looks very cute!🐾🐕
AWWWWW. HOW CUTE IS PUPPY WINSTON 🐶. NOW BOB .. YOU CANT DO THAT TO US.. WINSTON WILL NOW NEED TO MAKE REGULAR APPEARANCES SO WE CAN SEE HIM GROW PLEASE... SO ADORABLE 😁. 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
Another great video Bob. FYI, you should find that you won’t need to add resistors to those lighting kits. If you notice that all the other leds don’t have any resistors in them as the voltage is usually dropped inside the little blue box.
Amazing Build. thank you for the videos. The only thing throwing me off besides the obnoxious red is the aluminum paint on what would be a steel bumper. The bumper guard however is made out of aluminum. Some drivers like that others paint it black to contrast the chrome front end.
Great video (All your videos turn out great) and great looking truck I really like the roof spoiler too. Mine is all done and now am thinking about the trailer I really like the looks of the tank trailer I would really like to see a video of a build. Thanks for all your help and the fast shipping I always get my order in 2 days.
That’s an awesome job! The bar work is called a Bull Bar her in Australia. I definitely have this build on my future wish list... just need to save up for it. 👍🏻
Looks great. Top job with the lighting. I'd add the classic 'z' pinstriping across the sides and back in the same red (mask and airbrush) or get some trucker scrollwork decals in dark blue or silver to put on the back and the sides of the sleeper, and small ones on the body in front of the steering wheels and doors just to make it pop. Thanks 😊.
Bob I've enjoyed your videos for a while and came across them when I was building a Tiger 1 RC. Great tips and insights you have here. Recently you have been making it very hard to resist getting into these 1/14 scale trucks. I've been looking for a used roller. Something that I can paint and make my own. Maybe get a trailer one day to pull my 1/16 RC tanks with. Thank you again for continuing to post these videos! Happy Thanksgiving!
I love the truck, but it seems I'm going to go against the grain, and say that I don't care for the red. That's only my opinion though, and I still enjoyed the entire build series. To be perfectly honest, I've actually enjoyed any and all of your builds that I've watched. Thank you for your excellent presentations.
Hi Bob, you've give me some good ideas. Love the truck, my 3D printer is going to be very busy . I have already design and printed the cattle guard, now looking at the roof spoiler. Great video 👍. Woof, Woof to your new helper. What's next ?? Bob.👍✌️🇬🇧
Still my favorite of the 1/14 Semi Series!! I wouldn't have chosen the Red Oxide - but I like the look. And the Blue is beautiful!! I'm so torn..... I think I can only afford ONE, but I also really want to do Cletus Snow's Kenworth, from the King Hauler. LOVE the Light Kit!! 😁 If I can find a DECENT Onboard Sound System... Maybe I WON'T have to be forced to buy a MFC-03 for just under $400.00!! (in post COVID RC pricing)😖 If I can, I might be able to afford BOTH Tractors!! 👍👍 Carmine ✈🚂🚙

Love the channel, I was wondering if maybe you could explain the use of resistors in detail. I've never experienced wiring so many LEDs on a circuit and thought it could really come in helpful later on in my own builds. Like I said, i love the channel and have learned alot of good tips from ya. Looking forward to seeing more.
Wow, more and more in love with semi truck models, I hope to have the first one for this Christmas. The resistance you use for the ceiling lights in the video is 400? 400k? 7 ohm? Thank you again for sharing your experience, tips and making this hobby more and more enjoyable.
Hi Winston & Bob great video and awesome build as usual, question: does the light board have enough plugins for trailer lights or can I just Y into headlight channel on the reciever? I'm glad I watched this video specifically because I wanted a complete electronics LED, radio ect. for my Grand and King haulers without an MFC kit you showed me how thankyou 😎👍
The board has a lot of power in it but you would have to tap into the exiting wires to split more off for a trailer. Or do the wireless trailer lights with a 2nd unit. I will be doing a trailer video soon showing that.
It did turn out to be a great looking truck, and that light kit is really nice. Might have to get one for my International CXT. Do you have an actual physical store? I have family up close by and I would certainly stop in.
Trust me think about it “Goliath” from the TV series knight rider the evil truck that defeated kitt I believe it’s a silver gunmetal gray with flat black trim
I also like the dark yellowish/red with the light turquoise blue combination (actually they are complimentary colors), unless my video calibration is completely off! ;) You did use the blue front lights to have the interior dome light and I appreciate this idea, but if I'm not mistaken (I also use some of those cheap lights kits) those you call stop lights (yes, they are red) are plain reverse lights that should be replaced with white LEDs. In those kits you have to wire some actual red tail lights that stay on with the front ones, possibly with a more intense stop light function and I'm not sure this last option is at all available. Yes, please, I would appreciate if you can send me a pdf or an image of your scheme for the light kit. As always big thanks and KUDOS for your top notch modeller work, and the excellent quality of your video presentations! Cheers
