This is exactly what keeps me in this hobby. Love your day cab. Real truck for hard truck work. This one would look good with some age and weather. Be well and have fun.
Back when the movie Cannon Ball run and other trucker movies came out, model trucks were all the rage. I had a girl friend that had a closet full of model trucks she built. Being a fellow modeler, I was most impressed a girl would even want to build models.
Hi Bob, thank you for sharing with us some great hints and tips, so much in the video, may have to take another look again. Thank you for sending me the setup sheets for the FlySky radio system. I’ve installed my FlySky FS-i6S self-centring kit to my radio, programmed up and the basic functions are working well. The FlySky FS-i6S had to have the software upgraded to get the aux switch menu’s added to the software, so that I could programme those. Other than that, it works the same as your FS-i6(x)’s, bonus is, you don’t need to pay extra for the self-centring kit. I like your colour scheme on this truck and the alloy bed’s really set off the truck. Definitely right going with the non shiny wheels too and those knobbly tires. Next week, you’ll start to see my videos going live of my Scania R620 Highline build. Once again, thank you so much for your help. Take care, keep well and all the very best to you and the family. 😊😉😊
I always wanted to make a day cab king hauler. That's something I haven't done yet. Boy you knocked it out of the park as always Bob. Very clean truck and excellent setup with the battery. Alot of guys sacrifice battery size but the way you hid that works great.
Fantastic work truck build Bob . I’m a newbie to Tamiya truck building world & yes it’s you and your channel which has inspired me to make one of my own . As I’m from United Kingdom I’ve brought the euro style truck , the Mercedes Benz Actros 6x4 tractor unit . I’ve leant so much for you videos in the space of a few weeks. Thanks Bob 👍🏼
Very clever Bob!! 👌 I like that even after 40 years of doing this, I can still learn new things! LOVE the mid-Frame Battery Mount. 👍👍😎 That's got other cool possibilities as well. I am really looking forward to your USM-RC-3 Video. My first one is going in my 8X4 Tipper, with a 10 Channel, FS-iA10 Receiver! It works seamlessly with the FlySky FS-i6X Radio! 😉 If you can, please be thorough, including more extra features. Yours is one of the Channels that People watch long Videos on!
Another great video Bob, I like the idea of a work truck something that is a bit more rugged and purpose built. Your videos is what actually inspired me to build a grand hauler based around my grandfathers truck when he ran a trucking company out of Laplace, LA. I got a few components from your site and after carefully watching a few videos of yours, my first build went of fairly well (a few mess ups here and there but it's always the way with your first).
Bob, another fantastic video! I’d love to see you take on making the cascadia a day cab! I’m also liking the 55 turn motor and will have to pick one of those up
Hi Bob, great work your doing, my two sons would love this truck, i would really like to get started on putting togather one of these great trucks, let me know how to go about it thanks.
Very nice R/C semi tractor truck. You shoulduh kept the clearance lights & airhorns on top of the cab & the sunvisor, mounted the headache rack up closer to the back of the cab, & mounted the flashing warning light bar on top of the headach rack itself. But, overall. . . .excellent job in your build & awesome video. I've wanted one of these R/C trucks for years & years! Now after retirment, i believe im gonnuh make it happen. Im a new subscriber & thanks again for sharing your video. . . . 10-4! Truck safe!
@@HobbyconceptsLLC Thats aweome! And thankya sir for the reply back. What scale are these trucks??? Are there any "aftermarket" cabs & sleepers for these R/C's? I would love to build a Kenworth W900L with the Kenworth aerodyne sleeper!
Have you ever thought about building a "Hobbyconcepts Shop Truck" ???? It could be a Subaru Brat or a Ford F350 or whatever with options like a Snow Blade or welder or air compressor.....some dents in it or whatever.....a lot of truck shops have a "shop truck"
Hey Bob I seen where you can do wiring is there any way you could fix my RC Excavation? My dog got ahold of my excavator. And they mess up the wires and the wires need to be replaced?
Hi Bob great looking truck. Just finishing off my first build ( a king hauler). Then have a grand hauler to build. What was the name of the silver colour paint you used? Cheers
This is Awesome!! I used to drive semi's With End dump trailer and a Lowboy trailer. I think I'm going to have to build one of these. Have you seen or heard of scale size air bags suspension for RC?
Bob great build as always I love watching these builds gives me great ideas on my builds . My question is what are you using to strip the Chrome thanks
@@HobbyconceptsLLC hi ! Thanks for the video I have exactly the same set up and I connected to chanel6 but mine stays on all the time, if I connect something else in the same switch it works but my beacon light is the same like the one on the video and only rotates an stays on all the time I dont think is defective because I have 2
Man I love the looks of the day cab.. It's much more of a specific work truck to me.. Anyway, I've gathered a lot of parts since I started watching your channel. You were kind enough to send me the full size plans for your trailer. You're an asset to the community. My goal is to build a tri axle heavy haul day cab. Can you suggest a good forum to gather info? I don't know the length of chassis I need to build a tri axle. I know theres a great site out there for builds but can't remember the name.. it's gardentrucks or something like that. Or, do you have anything you've saved in your browser with tri axle specifically that could help with a build? Again thanks for all the information and guidance.
Excellent work as usual Bob, I received my shipment from you and LOVE the aluminum rims, any chance you sell them in Black? Would love a complete set in black for an upcoming build.
Hi Bob, I was wondering when you will be accepting orders from Canada? I, and dozens of other Canadians, watch and subscribe to your channel and would really like to order product from you. I have a subtantial order I would like to submit to you but just waiting for you to accept orders from us. Keep up the great work!!
Day cab with lowboy and jeeps look so good. Glad to see something a lil different.
Very complete walkthrough on the build. Thank you. It turned out great.
Hi, now I have a lot of new Ideas. Thanks.
This truck will look great with one of those lowboy trailers hauling heavy equipment.
Great job!

You give me inspiration thank you...

That truck looks amazing, great job!
This looks fantastic and what a great setup! Really looks sharp.
This is a sweet build. Always great tips and tricks. I may have to try and do a day cab as well without the MFC.

I assume you could. I am an old guy and tend to use the old guy methods!!!
Very cool 👍👍👍

Bonjour pouriez vous faire un tuto sur le branchement du chariot elevateur pour pl18 ev. Merci
Hay Bob what would a truck just like this one cost only different paint color, by the way nice job
I've always wanted to see a day cab build. How about the LM-BT-16-4 build?
Yes, will be doing some more Beier videos soon. Need more hours in the day!!!
What is the cost to build the King Hauler day cab work truck, a great job on the build great detailing on all your builds, do you ship to Australia
Have you ever made a 6x6 I would love to see you do a 6x6 and I'd like to see you do a tri axle one day maybe
I have the parts tp do a 6x6 and will do one in the future sometime.
Barvo and any lowboy is good?
I’ll also like see what it would cost to fix?
Hey Bob I seen where you can do wiring is there any way you could fix my RC Excavation? My dog got ahold of my excavator. And they mess up the wires and the wires need to be replaced?
you should do aeromax truck
WAT VOOR EN BRUTE VENT IS DAT ? HET KAN TOCH WAT ZACHTER MET HET MATRERIAAL OMGAAN TOCH ?
Where did you get your light bar sir? Im looking for that exact type.
Nice job Bob! Do you handle any other lower profile tires that would work on those wheels. Tamiya tires seem to large for the correct scale🤷♂️
Hi Bob great looking truck. Just finishing off my first build ( a king hauler). Then have a grand hauler to build. What was the name of the silver colour paint you used? Cheers
I think this one had light Gun Metal TS-42
This is Awesome!! I used to drive semi's With End dump trailer and a Lowboy trailer. I think I'm going to have to build one of these.
Have you seen or heard of scale size air bags suspension for RC?
Several companies make air bag suspension. Check LESU.
@@HobbyconceptsLLC Thanks I'll check with them. And start doing some searching myself.
Bob great build as always I love watching these builds gives me great ideas on my builds . My question is what are you using to strip the Chrome thanks
I use Super Clean from Walmart. Just soak parts overnight.
👍💯👍👍
can you make a video or you have a video on how to conect a beacon light and make it blink or flash or if we need a light switch for that ?

Hi Bob
Super nice truck
What are your tips for painting a MAN TGX cabin, sir? Primer paint and varnish?
Thx

Could you convert the fuel tanks into battery holders?
Probably not. Not much room in them.

Can you use the long frame on that truck.????
Yep sure could. Does look really long with 2 rear axles but looks great with 3.
Great build Bob. You have done a lot lately with Beier units can i ask why you used a MFC this time? the price of both are around the same.
Really wanted to show how to fit the MFC, battery and speaker in a day cab. Shooting a video right now on the Beier USM-RC-3 in a day cab truck.
Hello from Norway. I just wonder how you strip chrome off? Thank you in advanse.
I soak it in Super Clean. Bleach also works.
