On my third different tractor build, all built with your completer set with radio. My customer is a double repeat with his first rig four years ago, never needed anything repaired or replaced. Impressed with Tamiya quality!
OK... I SPENT THOUSANDS!!! But you're right, not everybody has to, to have a nice, functional Rig. The Mica Blue is Beautiful!! I may have to do one of mine in that color.
I remember painting the speedometer and pinstripes on the models I built as a kid/teenager now that I'm old (er) I've been thinking about getting back into them
HELLO MR. BOB I bought a second hand Grand Hauler. The chassis is in bad condition, there are too many holes. There are some missing parts and the paint is not good. But I will make a nice Grand Hauler by following your videos. Thanks
Thank you for all of your vids youve put out, the thought and detail you put into your videos and commentary is more than anybody could ask for. Amazing efforts make amazing videos
oh wow, i love watching your build videos on these trucks, i would really love to build one myself, im diabetic and had to have half my foot amputated due to an infection, ive havent worked in almost a year now,but im almost healed up, me and my Mom have had to sell alot of stuff to stay on top of bills, but if i could afford it, i would buy one of your all in one kits, so awesome build, the truck turned out beautiful
Nice to see ol Winston. He's fully grown now. I've learned a bundle watching your videos and it's helped me alot. You inspired me to get into this area of the hobby. I've always loved the Tamiya semis and like you've said, there is just so much awesome stuff that you can do with them from stock truck to over the moon custom. I always watch your videos to learn and love your professionalism and style. Plus your videos are just relaxing and cool. I'm sure you'll get another order from me soon too lol
Hi Bob. I really like you new kits. I have been looking at the AAA, it looks so cool. Yes. I am of that certain age. I remember the Varago very well. The Mini and the Morgan look great too. The weather has been crazy here. Thursday I was mowing grass. Saturday I was shoveling snow! It looks like rain for the next two days. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day! Jeff
Hey Bob - Thank you for making these easy to follow tutorials. Very much appreciated. Don't think I would commit to a build without them. I will contact you when ready and maybe we talk metal parts and options.
“It’s basically stock” There’s nothing stock about how you paint your models; looks amazing! I was watching with interest as you assembled the mirrors/trim to see your secret after suffering through countless BB6 nuts today (Scania R470) only to discover your little nut driver! Why didn’t I think of that?
Hey Bob! I really love to watch your videos and your detailed work on these models! I finished building my Grand Hauler weeks ago, but never mounted the visor. The tip using the screws is exactly what I needed! But I wonder, if you could maybe post a close up picture, where to drill the holes (especially in the body) or just a picture of the screw-mounted visor on one side? Greetings from Germany!
Thanks! I would guess for a novice it takes about 10 hours or so to build plus painting. Painting can be a few hours or many, many depending on how complicated you get. :-)
You do a great job Bob. Have you got a video by any chance of a Flysky FS-i6 controlling a G.T.Power container truck lighting and voice vibration system pro (eu), part/item 103063?
It is two of the standard booths hooked together. Here is a link from Amazon. www.amazon.com/Autolock-Airbrush-Lighted-Capacity-Portable/dp/B09QFK573V/ref=sr_1_4_sspa?crid=2JXW11NK5SUR4&keywords=hobby+paint+booth&qid=1652624114&sprefix=hobby%20paint%20booth,aps,140&sr=8-4-spons&psc=1

Thanks Bob for your videos they sure help. Listening to Winston enjoying his peaceful is a bonus.

Does anyone out there still custom paint these types of bodies? I know there’s plenty of Lexan body painters, haven’t found a plastic body painter.

I believe the stacks are way out of scale!!
Love your videos Bob😀👍
One thing about Tamiya r/c kits is that most of the kit assembles fairly easy but when you get to the detail steps it's a lot less convenient!

Amazing 🤩 great job 👏👍💪
The thing you did with the body where you added cement to connection between the parts is called Capillary force

I always hope there is at least one "tip" in my videos for everyone!
Have you ever put together a 20 ft or 40ft connex for the trailer with the metal locking kit. You are great with the builds.

Hi would you send your grand hauler kit to the uk .
Thanks karl.
Ps great channel
how many cans of mica blue and clear is needed for spraying all component( include cabin, rear cover, roof, fender etc.)
Absolutely beautiful truck. How many hours on average does it take to build this truck?

I have never been able to get GT Power stuff working correctly. Sadly their products show promise but are like 75% finished......
Where can I get one of them . I would like to try my hand at building one
Very nice job Bob my question is on your tools .. I like to know where you got your drill and drills set with the tiny drills Please.
My drill sets came from Amazon. I have a set of number drills and that cool set with the combo drill/taps.
How hard is it to bind the truck to a dxe gen 2 transmitter
Nice
Great video and info. You expanded your paint booth? I like the whole underside painted.
I got 2 new paint booths that are lighted and then hooked them together. Way better for the big Tamiya bodies!
Hi Bob, great video.
Just wondering how you made your spray booth. Do you have a parts list of what you used? I’d love to make a set up like yours.
