I am an engineer and i admire your skill and pasion thank you for the entertainment Ron
Bob, you are a master Sir, just one thing though, you've added even more things to try and remember on the transmitter!!!
Your video about the installation of the light module was of great help to me and solved a problem that I had been trying to solve for a long time. I just wanted to thank you.
Happy to hear it helped!
Just got the Tamiya flat bed trailer, Easy to do, completed it over a couple of evenings. Love how you put the lights in. Works really well.
I love this stuff but I'd go broke in a heartbeat because once I got started I would be able to stop or be satisfied with just one or to builds, you have the talent for this and your gifted with that
Can’t wait for more Beier SFR-01 videos! Your the master builder!
Brilliant build Bob on the tractor & trailer, just goes to show what can be done on budget with creativity & thought. 👍
Bob, In Australia the blinkers are on the out board side then the brake and the tail light and it is a very good build, thank you
This is an awesome and very thorough video, very nice work👍🏻👍🏻
Wow turned out beautiful ! The lights are awesome, appreciate you sharing. I watch for more
I got the flatbed and started putting it together. In making sure I had the bed the correct way I didn't notice I put the king pin plate on backwards so the center hole was up front I guess we all make mistakes. I did the wireless lights and side marker lights the same as you did also added the Motorized leg kit. I put pictures on your Facebook page.
You look like you enjoy what you do, learn and teach. Thanks.
Yet a fab video on how to bill a trailer bob you inspire all
I love the lights you added
Great match up with tractor & trailer and I like how you did the marker lights and made it wireless great design really enjoy your tutorials Bob keep it up
Just ordered all my parts from you!! Thank you for all the great videos!!
Cant wait to see the low boy conversion video!
globe and flatbed look great bob really intrested to see how you turn a stock flatbed into a lowboy also a idea show how to make a drop deck from a stock trailer kit and maybe a stretched box trailer just some ideas keep up the awesome job and awesome videos.
Glad that you pointed out your build error on the deck. Easy to miss. You could have easily just kept that out, but its important to keep in to show mistakes can happen. Dig your Starfleet mug.
Oh yeah, I make plenty of oops!!
Love your builds I’m learning loads thanks
Another good video Bob you make it look easy.
Very Cool. I would of never though about doing this. I think I need to do my trailers wireless.
Works quite well. Also works with the Spektrum DX6e.
Bob you are king 🤴! Great 👍Thanks 🥃👍💪
Great videos , love watching all of them.
If I want to show my husband how to build an rc truck, this is the channel I pull up.
Beautiful combo.. very nice work
Thank you so much for this very helpful video Bob. Both truck and the trailer look absolutely fantastic 😍😍
Great job another great build you are one of the best thank you for all your advice
Great video Bob as always. i decided I'm going to get the flat bed trailer. I like painting the same color as the truck and staining the wood I will do the same too. I was hoping you used the Motorized legs
Another great build, love the colors.
Beautiful Build.
I thought today. It would be cool if you could set up a linkage off the trailer landing leg mechanism to the electronics switch, so when you attach the trailer and the landing legs go up it also turns on the trailer lights.
parabéns.....muito bacana...vou montar a minha....
great vid, with lots of info. never knew you could have 2 receivers working at same time with the same tx!
It work very well whit Flysky i6....only!
@@francisroy8716 Really? no other TX will do this?
@@garymurphy5133 Some yes ....but very $$$$$$....Turnigy Is same as Flysky
I try whith I6s...but whitout succed
I works fine with a DX6e - just tested it. You must bind both receivers at the same time.
just ordered this hopefully i can build it .... great job
Another great very informative video work lots of detail
I use only 1 double sided tape on the last cross piece( at the back) to secure the deck. That way if you need to get under the deck, removal is easy and doesn't damage the wood. The load will keep the deck down!
Didn't it warp? Even if is' inside all the time the wood is going to buckle!!!
Hi, been looking at Addam’s Playground and he mentioned your channel. I’ve got a Scania R620, trailer and MFC-03 unit and will be looking forward to building my truck. But thought I’d take a look at your channel. Wow! Your attention to detail is amazing. The blue looks great and compliments your tractor unit nicely, the detailing of how you installed LEDs wirelessly using a twin bound receiver is excellent. The wood staining looks beautiful and I’ve learnt a lot, even down to using a muffin tin, labelled for the screw bags, great idea.😉😊. Anyway, I’ve subscribed, thank you for sharing with us, take care and keep well. 😉
Thank you for watching!
Beautiful...
I use a Servonaut transmitters and IR receivers on mine that way i can use any truck on any trailer
Great enjoyable build as always , would like to build the trailer but are they being shipped in the US or other countries
Beautiful
Hello I would like to know please what is the voltage for the leds of the multifunction mfc-01 I would like to install others but I was wondering what was the voltage distributed at the output of this device given that the battery is 7.2 volts
Nice job
The middle led marker lights. You should tie those into the blinker for the blinker on the side of the trailer.
Bob. I have become addicted to your channel. You are a true master of the hobby. I wanted to share an idea with you. Perhaps you could find a chrome trailer tool box big enough to hold the batteries. I thought that would be trick. I'm going to buy my first truck this week. The Globetrotter Tow Truck. Why not jump in all the way? A few options I want are on back order like the MFC unit and the actuator kit. Do you offer help and advice? Thank you for all you do for this great hobby.
Thank you for the nice comments. Love to help you out anytime. email jacobsenra@hotmail.com
Bob, are you going to install a sound unit on this particular truck?
Another great vid Bob how's the puppy doing?
He just chewed through my laptop power cable so he is in the DOG HOUSE for sure!
Hi bob Great video as always, just completed the flat bed trailer myself, and i stained the deck boards as you did, it looks great. Just wondering when you will be doing the flat bed trailer lowboy?
Can you please answer a question re this trailer? I would like to know which parts bag is the king pin part I'm trying to find a spare one thanks
Hi Bob I have trouble binding the 2 Flysky FS-IA6B receivers with the Flysky tranmitter at the same time. Either one is bind and the other don’t. I have tried several times and I can’t get the receivers to bind together. Any tips?
Hi excelent, i would like to know if you have to leave turned on both? ( what happen if you turn off one ? You have to restart both?
When you turn off one or the other it has no effect - still works after.
I built the Pole trailer and the bearings were Nylon!
This is fantastic video showing the wireless connection. Thanks Bob! Is it possible to bind and control the trailer legs as well?
It would be possible but the Tamiya motorized legs sure do nut have any requirement for it.
Hi Bob, I have FS-I6X transmitter, 3 FS-IA6 receivers can only get two to bind ,what to do?
I like that kit very nice but my one will be in orange and yellow
I would love to get two of these kits and make a 45' or 48' trailer out of them. The kit is only about a 32' deck. I was thinking a guy should be able to cut the wide part of the frame out of one kit and splice it into the other. Then splice the side rails (or buy some aluminum angle and make new ones) at a different point for strength as well as the deck. A guy could always by a dolly and make a train out of them as well.
Easy to build a long trailer out of 2 of these. Also you could make it a triple axle. I did something similar on my Hemtt trailer build. (see my older videos)
@@HobbyconceptsLLC Yes I was just looking at that. I also found where someone had stretched their kit to 53' using only one kit. They did make new side rails but did not extend the frame underneath. Seeing the construction could easily do it with one kit, some 1/2 angle and some sheet aluminum.
When are you doing the lowboy build if you don't mind me asking?
I have the Radiolink AT10II 12 Channels RC Transmitter along with the Beier SFR-1, will this setup work with that?
Doug
If you have the Beier SFR-1 you are better to use the Beier IR or BT trailer units.
My Flatbed Deck never looked that good and new...lol
That is a nice build combination .the only thing is ,arent the trailer landing legs too far b ack ?
Bonjour j aimerais savoir svp quelle est le voltage pour les leds du multifontion mfc-01 j aimerais en installer d autres mais je me demandais quel etais le voltage que distribut a la sortie de cette appareil etant donner que la batterie est de 7.2 volts
Love your videos . I am currently converting this trailer kit into a nascar style race trailer. Some dropping and stretching going to happen . This light kit setup is perfect. I run the spektrum DS6e , is it the same process to bind a second reciever on this unit?
Well just put in my order !!!
Yes, binds the same. Just do both receivers at the same time.
Being a wood warier, I'm curious that even though it's just a small modal and wood expans and contracts if the air has a little moisture wouldn't the wood warp? should have spaced the joints!!!!
Hi where is the link for the decal chap?
Hello bob
I can’t get my radio to bind both receivers at the same time as you have instructed
I have the fly sky fsi6x transmitter and fsia6b receiver in the truck and light kit
Only works with the iA6 receivers. The "B" receivers will not work.
Great I'll have to order those
Both need to be a rec ?
Thix Bob
I have the flysky i6x and was wondering if the second receiver that goes in the trailer has to be the same as the receiver that is in the tractor? Like can I have the fs-ia6b 6 channel in the trailer and the fs-ia10b 10 channels receiver in the tractor?
The 10 channel receivers will not work. Only the 6 channel.
The light kit you used what is the part number?
Hi bob, I have your modded FS-i6x transmitter and can’t get the i6a receivers to work . Will it work only with the fs-i6 ?
The i6a receivers will work with the FS-i6x.
Впечатляет машина
Will this work with a mfc unit. For instance the indicators
Yes it will. Turn signals work fine but not in sync.
I enjoy watching you build kits, informative and relaxing. On the light kit, would it be possible to power beacon lights or strobes? Going to have to order some parts from you come payday for my Bruder snow plow conversion.
Yes, you could power beacons, flashing LEDS's etc just fine.
I think there is a company called RAM that makes such lights.
Hi Bob, my names Chris. And I had gotten a tamiya globeliner, and a flatbed trailer, and I can't get both to bound at the same time. Do I have to use two six channel receivers, because I have a 10 channel in truck and a six on the trailer, and I can't get them to bind. Don't know what else to do. Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon. Thanks again Bob, and I love your channel!!!
It only works with the i6a receivers. The 10 channel or the "b" receivers will not work.
Hi bob , I have your modified fs-i6x radio and having trouble getting the two i6a receivers to bind together. Is the i6x capable to do this ?
how much weight could you haul with this?
Two questions.
First. Any idea how many lights you can put on the one channel? Was thinking of 20 on one of my trailers.
Second. Can I bind the truck and two trailers at one time? Then I can have two trailers with wireless lights.
Hi Bob, nice job! Wondering, do you think this wireless setup would work (binding 2 Rx) with an MFC-01 in the truck? Thanks
Yes it works fine. The blinkers however run at different rates.
On the trailer where do you put battery plug into
Battery hooks to on/off switch
What does the 55 turn moter do
Slower speed and more power. The stock kit motor is way to fast.
I cannot get my radio (spektrum ds6e) and my 2 ar620 recievers to bind together. I've tried everything. Anybody have an answer?
DO the receivers have to be the same model?
Yes, and only the i6a receivers will work.
How many extra light you are able to add to the system for like more marker lights ? Great work!
Probably up to 50 or so. I ran the numbers and it was like 250 but that would be pushing it.
Hello. Just want to know if want to do this wireless trailer light what items I need? Can you let me know..? Thanks
You need a light kit, battery holder, switch and receiver. Only works with some radios and receivers - for example will not work with Flysky 10 channels, only the 6 channel.
Hi Bob, did you add any primer on the aluminum before you painted it? Any chance that the paint may peel off?
I primed it, but anodized aluminum is hard to paint. It does scratch easily.
hello, does the light set have to be the same as the one from the truck?
No, in fact the truck does not even need lights for this to work. Only works with i6a receivers.
@@HobbyconceptsLLC thank you 👍
@@HobbyconceptsLLC i have a different set of lights for my truck like what i have for the trailer, that doesn't matter, right?
Hi bob can I ask where you purchased your amber marker lights from for the trailer?
hobbyconcepts.net/products/3mm-amber-led-w-resistor-wire-leads-pre-wired-10-pack?_pos=2&_sid=8572253d7&_ss=r
Can you use the Tamiya light kit for the trailer?
Yes, you sure can.
Does this only work with the FS-IA6 receivers? I bought two Flysky FS-IA6B receivers as that was the only thing my hobbyshop had and they are not working together. I can only bind one or the other. Not both. Or is it my radio? Just realized I have anm FS-I6X not an FS-I6. Will that make a difference?
Only works with iA6 receivers the "B" receivers will not work. Not sure about the transmitter.
@@HobbyconceptsLLC Thank you for the clarification. Although not the answer I hoped for.
класс
I am using flysky i6s but i cannot blind 2 receivers at the same time
Only the iA6 receiver will do this. The i6B receivers or 10 channel receivers will not work.
Have you used the KNK Hardware on any of your builds?
I have not.
What kind of remote & receivers u use?
Flysky FS-i6
nice video , do you have a low boy trailer to haul a excavator ?
Going to do a build video on that soon.
@@HobbyconceptsLLC great, you are the best at what you do
Hey Bob are you going to do a low boy trailer build
Upcoming build, probably summer 2021
How much is this build with painted trailer?
So here's a question from a beginner; what truck & trailer do you recommend? I've seen Scania & MAN from forums, but im looking for something more American & less European, and something not as grand as the Grand Hauler.
Everyone has an opinion but my all time favorite is still the King Hauler.
Ford hasn't made the Aeromax in real life for a long time, but it is a pretty good looking truck.
So. 😎. Never. Do. It. But. Watching. U. I. Now. Me. That
Hi, kannst du mir verraten, wie die beiden Empfänger gleichzeitig mit dem Sender gebunden wurden ??? Rätsel !
You need to bind both at the same time. Works fine with the FS-i6a receivers but will not work with the 10 channel receivers. Also works fine with Spektrum receivers. On Flysky units power up both receivers with the bind plugs in and then bind the transmitter. Next remove the bind plugs BEFORE you power down the receivers.
I tried this with my FlySky FA-i6X, I can’t get the two receivers to bind together. It’s only one or the other. Please advise.
Won't work with the 10 channel receivers - only the 6 channel.
@@HobbyconceptsLLC I am using the FA-iA6b 6 channel receiver. Is there a different one I should use? Thank you.
Lou, Did you ever get to the bottom of this question? I'm having the same issues using the same tx and Fs ia6b Rx... Cheers
Only the fs-ia6 receivers can bind together at the same time. I have 3 bound at the same time.
@@dionhutchins7300 I have the FS-i6x transmitter and can’t get the i6a receivers to work , what transmitter are you using?
Where about did you get them marker lights , live to put them into my trailer
hobbyconcepts.net/products/3mm-amber-led-w-resistor-wire-leads-pre-wired-10-pack?_pos=1&_sid=73736a2b8&_ss=r
Thanks will be ordering them soon might do the same to my Rig
Do you ship to Australia and how much are the costs if you do
I am very interested in wanting to do this being I deal with nitro Rc's however I am asking for some help and assistance in obtaining my first rig if it's possible
Plus I'm a single father on a budget
