I hate how she’s just saying oh you’re stuck with that person for the rest of your life? Like you’re not stuck, divorce happens and healthy relationships are really enjoyable
Right, can we just instead of this teach children about healthy relationships and you’re not supposed to feel stuck and trapped. relationships are supposed to be enjoyable. When you really love someone you want to be with just them. No we just have to teach them that having multiple partners is totally healthy and OK
They needed to let her know that a history of polyamory essentially blacklists you from the mainstream LTR dating market. (It may not seem this way, but anyone who acts like it's OK, yet also claims to want an LTR is probably lying to you about his intentions. i.e. a f%ckboy in disguise).
Exactly how rewarding it is to maintain a genuine and healthy long term relationship. You do it with your family and you dont refer to it as being "stuck" . People are living beings and you grow and build new things together
"If I'm going to get pregnant it's going to be purposeful, and at that point I'm going to focus on that one person I want to have a family with?" Doesn't that kill the purpose of this all? But also, how would the other partners react to her choosing one over the other? Wouldn't that be insulting? Maybe I'm tripping but that's how I see it.
What she's saying is I wanna be a Ho until I'm old and worn out and hopefully by then if I haven't accidentally gotten pregnant then I will pick one of 69,000 to settle down with and hopefully they will want my Ho ass and if my reproductive organs still work then we will procreate. To each their own but why must everything be taught to children? Somethings life will teach. If ya wanna be a Ho be a Ho, hell I was! Stop tryna Label shit and seek approval from the masses do u, whatever that means.
@@healingandhappy9262 I do not intend to insult you, but this little rant (up until "To each their own") has some incel vibes ("be a Ho until I'm old and *worn out* "). It's mainly the formulation, which I would normaly expect to see in those communitys. as to why everything must be taught to children: I think they see polyamory as something, that is similar to genders (as in, in both cases a different but legal form of love, with polyamory being about multiple partners and genders being about the specific people), so that it has to be taught, so that children, who are polyamorous (and of course, realise it only once they can have relationships like adults), as to make them feel accepted and not think of something like "Oh, I just want to cheat, how can I be loved?". I still don't fully understand polyamory, but because concenting partners (if the relationship has been declared polyamerous by all parties) are the ones involved, I feel the need to differenciate it from the behaviour that you outlined (which can and does happen, I only have an issue with calling *that* polyamory). As to the statement of "focusing on one person": she (probably) either isn't fully polyamerous or doesn´t know how to raise a child with more than 2 parents.

Like, the way he said those lines sounded like a mix of wanting to fuck with them and having secondary knowledge of this stuff and it genuinely makes him upset.
That's what I said, why are you talking to a kid about a complex facet of human relationship and sexuality when they aren't mentally mature or physically capable of such? This is toxic and unnecessary. They want to expose kids to the idea so when they hear it in their adulthood they won't immediately deny it as they should. If people were meant to be polygamist then they would do so naturally. A majority of the populace want 1 consistent partner not many pseudo partners.

when a kid asks a question and you avoid it, then the kid's gonna have a much lower opinion of you. because children are wired to question everything to find the answer. if no answer is given, they get frustrated
Of course they will become frustrated, they want to know. During that age could be from 2 on up, their curiosity is high. Children want to know why is the sky blue or why do you have gray hair? Or if they overheard about a sexual encounter from an adult or teen...I mean it could happen, they want to know what a blowjob is or kissing. Children aren’t ignorant, they pay attention without knowing the meaning of what is being said even though they want to understand. Therefore, the reason to ask questions toward parents. Anyways, one event I remembered that I was explaining everything due to flipping through the entire book about how children are created the best way I could to my parents. Their response? Shocked. They found no need to clarify where I came from. Kids will find out one way or another, they will discover it at 7 or 12 about creation and understanding their hormones once they are in school, it varies from age. I do not intend to insult you, but this little rant (up until "To each their own") has some incel vibes ("be a Ho until I'm old and *worn out* ").
Why can’t kids be kids these days? Why are adults so pressed about exposing kids to adult situations? I don’t get it smdh

when a kid asks a question and you avoid it, then the kid's gonna have a much lower opinion of you. because children are wired to question everything to find the answer. if no answer is given, they get frustrated

For instance, I remembered after reading a few pages well looking inside a medical book on the reproductive system for both male and female at the age of 3 maybe 4 years of age, some don’t believe me 😂 when I tell them. It would be good to make an appointment to talk to them about sex soon, but not when they are so young as toddlers enjoying their innocence and staying pure in the brain. There will be a time to talk as parents to child.
Yeah I’m 12 and I get very frustrated when my questions aren’t answered. Especially if I ask more than once :/

@RUclipsisruined Byblacksgaysandwomen Also the asian and black kids home country is America. They grew up in America and most likely were born in America. It's all transactional with 0 emotional attachments but, of course, it'll ruin their perception of what a relationship/marriage should be in the long run. In a partnership, someone always takes it all in the end.

I'm from Canada and we've been getting educated on sex/sexuality/relationships (romantic or otherwise) since around the 3-5th grade, I don't know how that could be considered a bad thing. I've already started/going to start puberty so this is the best time to educated me on how things like sex, sexuality, relationships work. It has been proven that areas which teach students about those things have a lower teen pregnancy rate, lower teen abortion rate, etc, I would much rather my daughter come home from school and tell what she learned about her body rather then her coming back with a baby in her belly. I've always thought of polygamy, like having very close friends. Imagine someone coming up to you can saying, "you can only have one close best friend, you can't have anymore because that means, you love one less than the others and the relationship would be meaningless" like yes, some people are happy with having one very close friend for the rest of their lives, but you can't blame someone for thinking "this is kind've stupid, I want to be friends with whoever I want and how many people I want" (I used friendship because just like partnership, it's one of the only relationships you choose) yes some people use polygamy as an exuse to sleep with more (which i don't really see as a bad thing as long as your other partners are aware and okay with that), just like how some people use married as a way to make someone financially dependent on you, but both those groups are a minority when you look at the big picture, plus historically polygamy has existed way before monogamy, staying with one partner for your whole life Is a very new concept that has really only been popular in the west for the last 500 year and globally even less of a time, so seeing monogamy as tradition and the natural state of humans is just plain wrong, like my grampa literally had nine wives, and my grampa is extremely traditional, his dad wouldn't even use cameras because he didn't like how modern things messed tradtion up. long story short, because something is different from what you're used to, doesn't mean it's lesser or less valid.
