Izuka was never stated to have sided with Ashera, Bastain captured Izuka because he needed Izuka to make a cure for Renning, who was altered by Izuka's feral one drug. However Izuka escaped, leading to the events of chapter 4-5.
Great video. The Radiant duology was always my favorite Fire Emblem games, it had such great worldbuilding and amazing characters and bosses too. Has the best protagonist and villain - Ike and the Black Knight.
23:30 actually Lehran never told Ashunera to split up. It was Ashunera that decided, after the Great Flood which she caused by crying in consequence to the Beorc and Laguz fighting, that her chaotic emotions (Yune) should be separated by her rational side (Ashera) and be destroyed to prevent future catastrophes. And Lehran told Ashera to not destroy Yune because of them being two halfs of a Goddes: if Yune wouldn't have existed anymore Ashera would have gone insane; that's also the reason of why Ashera slept while Yune was in the medallion: it'd happen the same as if Yune were destroyed, just slower. 25:05 the Serenes Massacre happened because the Senators blamed the Heron Tribe of Misaha's murder
I'll be honest, this channel has shot up to my top 5 most watch channels on RUclips. I look forward to new videos every time. The videos are so well put together. I love listening to the videos while working. I typically don't really like to comment on RUclips, but I really felt that I had to say something because this is such an amazing channel. I hope to watch this channel grow. Have yourself a wonderful day.
@@brendankelly9037 that is partially incorrect: yes, Serenes Massacre wasn't exactly terapeutical to him, nor it was terapeutical losing his great great great... great granddaughter, but it wasn't only that. More than 800 years he has lived in exile to prevent spreading that Laguz lost their powers when having a baby with a Beorc; and long before that, Laguz and Beorc always fought. All that war, all that canned and ignored emotions piled up in him. The extreme desperation of seeing his Clan exterminated, those repressed emotions and the Medallion's influence, led him to insanity and seeking for Judgement. So no, it wasn't all the Senators' fault, even tho if they didn't kill Misaha and blame the Herons things would've gone differently for sure
@@thomasroket8281 while I agree yes I definitely oversimplified it and a more accurate statement would be that the serenes massacre was the breaking point for his emotions, it is worth noting that he was actually in a state of hope right before the assassination because of misaha’s plan to reveal herself as branded which could have potentially brought the laguz and beorc closer together. But alas, it never happened and everything spiraled out of control

I like how Sephiran's story basically explains the entire plot.
