Really goes to show just how bad most of the units in the Dawn Brigade are, which makes sense given they are just a bunch of kids who picked up weapons. I like that basically all of the good units in Part 1 are experienced soldiers you meet throughout the journey or Sothe/Nolan who are experienced fighters.
Not to be later (back) to the party than Tormod but... As a note, the description for Resolve in the menu is incorrect- it actually increases your stats when you're under half health. Under 20% is only in the Japanese version. This is kinda relevant for Tauroneo because while its damn near impossible to make happen in Part 1, in Part 3, this suddenly becomes a lot more possible. Also, Leonardo and Edward were actually BUFFED for the international release apparently. They're even worse in the Japanese version where they have lower stats and they don't get unique PRF's either.
Okay but for Ilyana have you considered that I love her and she deserves to eat all the Speedwings because she's my hungry little Blorbo? (Okay the Greil Mercs may not need the items but they DO appreciate the gold you can sell those items for. Especially for the chapter where you get the Silver Card.)
Since you mentioned it, there IS a patch to get enemy ranges (and other things) into Hard Mode via the FE10 randomizer. It has a standalone program that just adds Hard Mode changes without any randomization, so you should try looking for that, IMO.
Michaiah: stats and growth don't matter, but amazing that she can get 10 exp every turn! But if her growths don't matter, why does it matter than she can easily get exp?
Kinda like Meg in a way since you´ll cap her Speed at 20, and even if you don´t, General Speed Cap is 23 which could seem to suck, but now that´s a stat she will not level up with the BEXP, if you know how that thing works.
Aran is underrated, he is one of the few DB members with high def growth and can get a real tank over the course of part 3, I even rate him good as Nolan.
I wished the bad units like Meg, Leonardo or Fiona would "compensate" by them having like a bigger Skill points pool to give them more skills or "unique" skills only them can have but that's really awful. I did tried to get Meg to like her 3rd tier and she was unable to do anything in the tower at the end game, it's just that awful how this game is so unbalanced with the units. Like the Dawn Brigade has absolutely zero advantages on actually focus and train them to the end aside from Micaiah and Sothe and these two are simply because you are FORCED to bring them out in the end. However perhaps Ilyana does some good as an Archmage because she is a natural counter to Dragons and she is the only unit that is able to use Rexbolt. But that's it, she's still a somewhat glorified healer. The Dawn Brigade characters are mostly good for one purpose like Aran is able to tank fairly well, but that's just it they're all terribly one-dimensional.
That's funny. I did a playthrough where I did get Meg to tier 3, and she was actually incredible. It took a lot of effort to get her there, absolutely, and I don't fault people for saying she's not worth the trouble, but when I used her, she was basically a second Ike.
With Fiona I felt like in a way that may have been what they were trying to do. When units start with a Skill, it has no cost. So in Fiona's case you could stack Savior and Imbue with a few other skills for free. Imbue didn't seem exactly terrible for Fiona as at base Fiona came with a little more magic than other non-magic units (except for the prepromotes), so Imbue seemed like a pretty good skill for her. If she had a decent magic growth, and if her magic cap were higher, that would have been cool. But since her growth is at 15% on average you can expect her to reach around 8 magic by level 20. I wouldn't have minded using Fiona if she were consistently healing 15-25 hp per turn through the entire game.
Back in the day, i was insane enough to deploy some very weak Units on Chapter 4 maps, that i barely used until that point and i also used some very bad ones during this playthrough. Some journeys were wild. My Lv.4 Swordmaster Zihark for example, could actually tank a Tiger attack(Izuka chapter, normal mode) with 1HP and he also managed to kill it. I left him there, healed him, he went on to a training arc against more Tigers and this chad turned himself into a Lv.6 Trueblade after a while, who was very reliable at killing Tigers.
That isn't imperive i bexp base Fiora with waht i got in the last chpater of part 3 and she was holdin on enemys on part 4 and subsiving 2 rounds of combat. This is why i think 3- 6 is and esay chaepter becoe jarot the boss of the last chapter is alomust as strong as the unitts in that chapter bEcose uniets don't grow that much the black kinte is a untie that speclis in hiting hard he don't one shot jarot and amberg bolk boss depit beign 39 levle shier using a legnedey wepon and a protion gains untes are becley catogeit in speed and cit tieres. especiel wen you comepr to other RPG like pokemon it is esay to just be fast engiet to one shot this is bacoelesle to not taking damenge
I 100% disagree with the placement of Nailah. Although her availability isn’t perfect, every time she appears, she will 99% of the time kill anything in her path. I thinking anything less than high A tier is a crime, and she should be put into S tier imo.
Yeah but there’s units that kill everything for like, the entirety of part 3. Nailah only has 4 chapters before the tower which is nothing to write home about. That’s the same availability as Elincia. I do think she should at least be above Micaiah and Nolan but S tier is a pretty steep request.
@@Bunnymafia8150 The problem with that argument is that you’re not accounting for the fact that she is available in part 1. From the beginning of the game, to the end, she is consistently one of the best units. I do agree though, high A tier is the minimum I would put her.
@@Mardek775 I mean, it doesn’t really matter much which part she’s in. If she was in part 2 for two chapters instead of part 1 for two chapters I’d rate her the same. When I said she has 4 chapters before endgame I meant she has 2 in part 1, 2 in part 4, and then the tower. I just refer collectively to the tower as endgame because of how short all those maps are.
@@Bunnymafia8150 The whole availability argument in general is a bit silly when you have god tier units like Nailah. Regardless of her availability, what matters in the end is how she performs. I don’t know if you agree with that or not.
@@Mardek775 I do factor in availability, though for a game like radiant dawn where no one is around for the whole time I am more lenient. Same deal with fe4, I just rate everyone’s availability compared to each other. I’d definitely rather have a unit like Nailah who trivializes a small portion of maps compared to someone like Edward or Aran who are mediocre for most of the game, but when there’s people like Haar, Titania, Ike, and Jill who massacre everything for most of the game I rate Nailah relatively worse. Also Nailah does lack 1-2 range which can suck sometimes but again, I’d rather take overkill 1 range combat than mediocre 1-2 range so it’s not as bad as for someone like Guy or Joshua. Finally I actually find her tower performance a bit lackluster considering she’s a laguz royal. She’s still better than pretty much every beorc save for Ike and Jill but she can’t double auras without white pool, she doesn’t fly, and she can fail to one round generals and white dragons without skill procs. I’d definitely bring her to the tower every playthrough unless I specifically banned laguz royals, but she’s in the lower half of the 10 units for me. I know that sounds nit picky but when your availability is this low that kind of stuff matters. Though since you value availability less I understand your argument a lot better now.
Whilst I generally like the Radiant Dawn scaling system its shocking just how badly some of the cast get screwed for caps. They couldn't have just unlocked Meg's speed or something so that 90% of her levelups weren't literally useless?
Laura's even worse in that regard, she has the LOWEST spd cap at 31! Lower than generals even despite her 70% speed growth. I tried her once without any caps and she became a straight up demon.
I mostly enjoy normal mode in RD. Hard mode to me isn’t really more challenging, just more frustrating. I’d say you underrated Leonardo (he’s C tier to me) and underrated Sothe. Leonardo has no growth prospect (even in normal, without crazy investment). However, he’s always useful until part 4. He does solid chip damage in part 1, where he will get tons of free XP (less in hard). This lets you feed Nolan kills (or Jill, or whoever). There’s almost no enemy 2 range to retaliate in part 1. I’m part 3 his bow will let him 1 round hawk laguz, untransformed laguz, or just hold ledges really well. I end up using him until part 4 most playthroughs (he has no 2-range comp). Sothe is the most important unit in the game. He just sucks part 4.
I have found a slight, consistent use for Meg. Ilyana, Leonardo and Nolan. These are three units who often wish that they were pulling more hit. Getting C Support with Meg is just 9 free hit, and I believe it's more like twelve for Ilyana? She can legitimately be a big reliability increase for the Dawn Brigade, especially when getting bombarded by ledges and bad biorhythm and other horrible RD stuff that serves to nerf hit.
I can be incorrect but there's a conversation between Ike and the black knight during 3-7 where black knight explains that his blessing on his armor is gone.
I'm an Ilyana stan because she has the best availability of any unit in the game. She may not be amazing, but she is basically there for 80% of the game.
Those comments are so good. Would be top tier in base stats if we had a million xp and boss farming bronze weapons but they suck up so many resources and xp that they automatically go to the bottom
In defense of aran,, units like sothe zihark and edward cant dodge those very accurate tigers and they will get 2 hit kod. So training aran is good value to hold somewhere and take 2 more hits like nolan does and do good damage in return. His bases suck but with training he wont get doubled by tigers and he looks absolutely badass when promoted. Since he caps 3 stats as around lv7 halberdier, you bonus exp him for guaranteed spd if you want him to use more but thats favouritism. I also really like micaiah because physic is very available and affordable and micaiah has great range thanks to her monstrous magic. For endgame its nice that you dont have to run another sage to heal thanks to micaiah. I also didnt know that tormod had mediocre growths. He had very fun when my soren and rhys were dead in no reset run and I had no healers in mansion. I equipped vulneraries, gave tormod staves, trained him in a very fun puzzle with use of ledges and chokepoints. And half of the chapter he started to heal people and he had good magic.
Ive never used nolan, I usually avoid using units i wont bring into engame as much as possible, and i funnel xp into edward and ilyana and miciah in part one(i usually have edward and ilyana promoted in prison break chapter with tormod) But after hearing the beastfoe bowgun thing, I think my next playthrough I'll do that and support him with zihark for double earth bonus. Big bulk and good avoid should mean he can survive most enemy phases, even against laguz
Ilyana is definitey worse than Laura IMO. Neither grow incredibly but Laura at least remains valuable because of staffing. Ilyana may actually hurt you for training her because she leaves the Dawn Brigade and brings all EXP she ate with her lol
Meg is a bad unit, but she is also my favorite in the game because on my very first run I was about to reset on the swamp map because my Edward and Nolan were both screwed, so I dumped all my Bonus Exp into her as a joke and she became a better Edward and carried my run. And for that she will forever be the secret S+ best unit in Radiant Dawn
Personally I'm a big fan of promoting Leonardo at level 10, then just using him as a chip and Crossbow bot. He also does well in 1-E thanks to the Ledges. I don't think you can get any more value than that out of him. I personally put him at the very bottom of C tier when used like this, because it's next to no investment for a unit that is okay, similar to Edward in early game. Edit: also think Ilyana should be at the very bottom of B, because with an early promotion, Resolve and a Forge she can reliably one round most enemies in part 1. You'd want a forged Thunder anyway for Part 3, so it's not taking up any resources. If you want to use Resolve on Zihark instead, then she can use Wrath for a 60-70% chance to one shot everything. She's around for so much of the game, and can do something in almost every map she's in with just a little bit of investment.
I'm assuming this comes down to different pronunciations, but as someone who has also played Radiant Dawn a fuckton, who the actual fuck is "Villoo" Edit: he just slightly slurred the way he pronounced Volug in the beginning. It confounded me lol, as I pronounce his name as "Vōh-loog" where the "voh" is the stressed part
Ha! Happy and clappy laguz brothers and the goofy goober squad. I called them stooges because they went around attacking random bandits and begnion weaklings
Nah Leonardo is actually a helpful filler in part 3 if you give him a 10/1 promotion thanks to his personal bow that I’m not going to bother trying to spell. He can actually one shot hawks with it which is very helpful in 3-13, those hawks are very dangerous because they gun straight for the defend point which is way too big to block off. Usually one or two will slip past Jill and Volug and Leonardo allows them to stay on the frontlines while he cleans up the stragglers. He can also almost one round untransformed laguz in 3-6 which is pretty helpful. It’s very nice that he can get to that level without interfering with the exp balance of part 1.
@@Bunnymafia8150Nolan can also one-shot hawk laguz with a crossbow, and also some of the cat and tiger laguz if you give him Beastfoe, so it's not exactly a unique role you need to deploy Leo for. You never have to worry about the laguz slipping to the defend point anyway because Jill can simply fly over and defeat Ike, which isn't hard to do if you make him equip an iron sword at the end of 3-11.
@@GIR177 I’m not saying he’s good, I’m just saying he’s better than Meg lol, she’s bad no matter what resources you give her. Even her tier 3 caps aren’t that good which is like, what you’d need from a unit like that.
1:17:51 Jill gets overrated because people just dump all of their BEXP and stat boosters on her as soon as she joins and somehow don't call that favoritism
Definitely gonna disagree with that Jill placement, 2nd best unit behind Haar no questions asked. You said S tier was for people who are nuts without investment but even people like Haar and Titania need investment to reach their potential. Haar’s base speed is only 20, and his cap is 24 which is definitely iffy on hard mode. He needs a swift promotion to double and one round everything. I usually give him the speedwing from 2-3 by giving it to Marcia and then having Haar use it in 2-E, and then all the bexp from 2-3 usually allows him to cap his speed in tier 2. Once he gets his hands on the master crown from 3-3 he is an absolute beast but it takes a lot of investment to get there. Without all that he doesn’t double much and his value is severely decreased. I’d still give him that investment every single time because he easily makes the best use of it, but at that point that’s roughly on par with what Jill needs to get good. Titania is in the same boat, she can get the speedwing from 1-E via Illyana and a boatload of bexp to get to tier 3 to double and one round. But again without that she doesn’t double much and is fairly mediocre. There’s only one unit in this game with ridiculous combat with 0 investment in my opinion, and that unit is Ike. Even then he has other issues to deal with such as a late promotion and lack of good 1-2 range weapons until he gets Ragnell since unlike hand axes and javelins, wind edges cannot be forged for some reason. I think you should reassess your S tier criteria because there’s not many units that are good for a significant portion of the game without heavy investment. I think it’s better to look at how people perform with the same investment, for example Nolan can get similar stats to Jill but can’t fly, Aran has some serious speed issues, Edward and Zihark have durability issues, and Lameonardo can’t counter at 1 range. Jill has none of these issues, she’s basically perfect with investment. Something else to keep in mind is Jill’s part 4 performance is probably the best out of any unit save the herons and laguz royals (even that’s debatable due to their lack of 1-2 range). In part 4 Haar kinda needs either another speedwing or resolve to double reliably, Titania starts to have some speed issues again, and Ike is unmounted. Meanwhile Jill is flying around doubling everything with forged hand axes and pretty much never dying, along with having much better resistance than Haar so she won’t get put to sleep in 4-3. I think despite her blowing Haar’s speed out of the water Haar is still the best unit in the game due to his availability but I don’t think anyone else touches Jill. Other than that though I only have small nitpicks about people like Nolan, Tauroneo, and the fact the Leanne is above Rafiel. Rafiel should be right below Reyson IMO because of how much better he is in the tower but this comment is long enough lol. This tier list is pretty solid so far, looking forward to your next part. You’ve definitely earned a sub. (Sorry for the long comment I love this game and this unit.) Oh btw there’s an Action Replay code that enables enemy ranges on hard mode! I dunno if you play the game on emulator or on console but the code is 04191BO8 28000003 04052CD8 28000003 04067C9C 28000003. This code has been a life saver, I encourage everyone to use this. It doesn’t make the game easier, it literally just saves your time.
Completely fair and reasonable opinions, thank you very much! There's definitely a bunch of placements that I'm already questioning, especially units like Tauroneo and Jill, so if they move around in future videos don't be surprised. Also holy shit, that code has in fact saved my life, blessed be, thank you so much.
I haven't played Hard Mode so my best ranking probably comes from my very first playthrough of Radiant Dawn (which was my first experience playing a Fire Emblem game). So the ground rules are essentially the same except for Hard Mode since I did Easy Mode. S tier: Sothe - It's basically reserved for him. Hard carry through Part 1, doesn't really fall off until you fight the Apostle's army. Can use Beast Killers in Laguz maps. A tier: Aran - Most underappreciated unit in Fire Emblem. Aran can use the Discipline skill you get on his join chapter, raise his lance rank and then can use higher rank lances. His Atk, Skill, Spd, and Defense are all good and he can be a really good tank for the latter half of Part 1. Edward - Hyper offensive Myrmidon in a game where Swordmasters are friggin goated. Even with his meh defense he can still do good damage. His availability is the best and his prf in part 3 can give him higher avoid. Tauroneo - Hard carry like Sothe except for worse availability and he disappears during the first Laguz map in Part 3. Micaiah - Sacrifice can give her something to do when she isn't nuking with her Thani tome. Gains staves at C rank upon first promotion. Lack of speed makes her worse off. Zihark - Good substitute for Edward if he died. Does have problems on the defensive side and has worse luck stat. Nolan - One of your best vanguard units that can sponge up damage. He also gets +4 from his prf axe in part 3 so he's worth using. Rafiel - Solid dancer but his lack of movement makes him inferior to Reyson later on. B tier: Jill - If you get a strength screwed Jill then she ain't worth it. If you don't then she's a solid mainstay on your team. Has some issues doubling starting off, and is reliant on forges or Hand Axes. Illyana - Similar to Jill, but her Spd is the main issue. Her main use is the Rexbolt tome for lategame, but if she gets stat screwed, then you're better off selling the Rexbolt. C tier: Nailah, Volug, Black Knight - EXP hogs that should only be on your team if you're that desperate for manpower. Tormod - Solid for Part 1, but has poor availability. When he comes back in Part 4 he's likely trash. Leonardo - 3-13 map and his prf are the only reasons to use him. He's undoubtedly a passion project otherwise. Laura: Would be higher if staff exp were higher. Unfortunately it's only 11 exp per use, so she falls off due to insufficient stats by the latter half of part 1. Healing is still useful though. D tier: Meg: Only thing keeping Meg out of F tier is her class and her availability. She's trash otherwise. Muarim/Vika: Not worth using due to the Laguz timer, but can be used to rescue villagers in the swamp map. F tier: Fiona: Passion project for the suicidal. Bad growths, bad bases, bad everything really.
Zihark makes up for poor defenses by having earth affinity. As long as he's next to his support buddy (probably Nolan), he's unlikely to get hit and die. Paired with Adept, he's likely to counter kill, though counter killing may put him at risk of more attacks he wouldn't have otherwise been exposed to. Also, Jill is always worth using, though may not be worth bringing to endgame based on her growth, as you say. The reason is because she's the Dawn Brigade's only flying unit, and has maps where this ability alone is worth it. Nailah is good at C tier, but she is more than an exp hog: she can be an exp enabler. Have her Glare ranged units. Unlikely to land, but it removes enemy units without killing them, improves the enemy defense, and allows the rest of the DB to wail on the petrified enemy without penalty.
The trouble is that you likely have to cut off Nolan's support partner if you gave him one already (which I did in Edward). But yeah, the Earth support helps, but it doesn't solve his luck issue which, when paired with a poor biorhythm, can lead to either nasty hitrates, even for a swordmaster, or a marginal crit rate. This is especially the case in Part 4 where the enemies get higher crit skills. Jill is nice to have but not always necessary and her strength stat is suspect at best. And since strength is essentially a unit's constitution, she has to rely on lighter weapons like an Iron or Hand Axe until her strength rises (which if my last few playthroughs are any indication, never happens). Her flying prowess would be handy on movement restricted maps, but the only one you'd realistically need her on is Part 1s swamp map, which she can't be deployed on, Part 3s river map (which is more of a defensive map than an offensive map), and Part 4s desert map (which she may not be on if you switched up your units). And as you said, chances are she's not going into the tower when you have Haar who unlike Jill, stays consistently good for the whole game. I didn't actually know that about Nailah, but granted that this is still going for an optimal playthrough that finishes faster, she likely won't see much action even with Glare.
alright i have been waiting years for this, i must defend my boy Edwards pride and why i think he is the 2nd best non ike sword unit in the game usually. the man has 6 chapters of more or less uncontested combat xp before zihark exists. Nolan only needs 1 level to master seal him and he still does his job in part 3 then you bench him anyway. Zihark is there but honestly Zihark is not good earth affinity great but whos he gonna support nolan? the guy who is decent in the early game because of his bulk and starting steel axe which slows him down by 2 at base and on average takes 5 levels worth of xp to be able to wield. zihark in chapter 3 regardless of his chapter 1 investment is getting 2 rounded at best by tigers in 3-6 and even with a rank double earth supports his luck and nolans luck and speed are so low 45 base avoid isnt enough to dodge tank. Edward on the other hand is quite possibly the best candidate for all of this experience as his only real other kill taking competition for endgame viability is aran prior to jill joining. so you have 1-p through 1-5 where you can power funnel edward the lions share of the kill xp. then he kinda sits there and does what he can in 1-6-1 1-6-2 and 1-7 to feed jill. then in 1-8 you can give edward the entirety of the northeast side of the map since jill cannot be there. by this point he quite reasonably can be around level 17-18 and if he has leveled poorly you didnt really lose anything because the only dawn brigade unit that actually matters is jill. but if he leveled well bxp him to the next level then seal him. you have 3 SS swords 2 of them are the single best weapons in the game and then the vague katti is the highest might weapon in the game iirc. Ike is required with ragnell, stefan is fully capable at base with no investment required for the tower with the vague katti. then you have 1 of edward, mia, zihark, meg, lucia, or makalov for the Alondite which once again is arguably the best weapon in the game. 2 units out of that list is viable to bring into the endgame mia and edward. Zihark possibly ONLY if you a rank supported him with Ike otherwise he dies to a swift breeze because unlike mia and edward he cannot dodge tank. then if edward grows poorly just use mia, shes slightly worse than edward but not enough to matter 1 more speed means nothing but 1 less str can sometimes maybe? and still you lost nothing of value by feeding edward where if you feed nolan unless youre forcing him into the tower team just doesnt cut it. that said a bad Edward is exceptionally bad. so i would say high C low B tier in Hard mode, but honestly still the best dump for xp his early chapters, and if he fails dumping him means you lost literally nothing.

Fighting the black knight in 3-7 isn’t a negative, Ike can just use a specter card which technically counts as entering combat with him, but avoids the devastating counter. Micaiah being able to use the Ashera staff doesn’t hinder Sephiran at all because you can just have one use fortify at the start of the turn to heal off the enemy phase damage, and have the other use the Ashera staff at the end of the turn to heal off the damage from Aurora. His availability is definitely garbage but similar to people like Gareth and Nasir, he has free deployment for the hardest chapter in the game and is SUPER helpful. I think what he does with his availability trumps anything people like Fiona or Astrid do with their’s. Not sure why you’re giving Fiona credit for bringing skills because that says nothing about their viability, are we really gonna put Tormod high up because he brings Selerity? Also you can just have Sanaki or Micaiah get a blessed tome for him if you really want him to attack, but I think he’s better off healing with the Ashera staff.

“The first PoR character Ilyana” … poor Sothe being bullied for never being deployed in PoR
Looking forward to the discussion on Gatrie's 60% speed growth
I guess the knights are just built like that 😂 like that cut scene of Ike clashing with the bk in the tower. Bk was movingg
I just gotta say, been listening to this series out of order and the music choices have been amazing, good game taste
Tauroneo underrated. as marshal, he carries the dawn brigade through the tough part 3 maps EZ 💯
He's also the rare case of an Armor with decent Res. He can even put in work in the tower with a little bit of investment.
I think his defense is somewhat low for a Marshal, in part 4 mine had less defense than Volke
Tauroneo is always more useful than Volug, availability be darned.
Michaiah: stats and growth don't matter, but amazing that she can get 10 exp every turn!
But if her growths don't matter, why does it matter than she can easily get exp?
Aran is probably one of those units in Radiant Dawn, who benefits the most from BEXP.
Kinda like Meg in a way since you´ll cap her Speed at 20, and even if you don´t, General Speed Cap is 23 which could seem to suck, but now that´s a stat she will not level up with the BEXP, if you know how that thing works.
"Sothe is not great in part 3 and is terrible in part 4. But he is an Oifey guys trust me and also goes in S tier"
Oh my goodness, Metroid Prime music in a Fire Emblem tier list. All my Nintendo favorites are covered.
That was an amazing video. I can tell the amount of time you've invested into this game. Can't wait for the next parts.

I love to hear that there's someone else whose favorite fame is RD. I knew there was a reason I liked you.
Ilyana with Speed transfers really puts in work in Part 1, it's wonderful.
You need to make more tier lists please! Your commentary is great
I have found a slight, consistent use for Meg.
Ah, finally, a Radiant Dawn enjoyer.
Bro this tier list is both accurate and had me dying of laughter, nice video
IT IS TIME. BEGIN THE MADNESS.
Definitely the best fire emblem game by FAR
Love the use of FF12 music
I'm an Ilyana stan because she has the best availability of any unit in the game. She may not be amazing, but she is basically there for 80% of the game.
God finally the question if its the dawm brigate is answered
Those comments are so good. Would be top tier in base stats if we had a million xp and boss farming bronze weapons but they suck up so many resources and xp that they automatically go to the bottom
yo same radiant dawn is so frickin good i highly recommend tearing saga if you havent tried it already
lol. Me waiting for the next Fe6 ironman video only to get this video.
A surprise to be sure, but a welcomed one.
Edward S tier lets get it!
THE DAWN BRIGADE! Lesgo!
Hi, ARAN should be D tier near E. Always dying and not accomplish anything and missing also easy hits. Edward in normal mode or hard mode should be B
Usually give volug the beastfoe and have him slap wolves as an untransformed furry
FE10 is also my favorite game too although i only finished it once while I beat GBA 3 games more than 20 times
What a cute and entertaining nerd you are!
I'm assuming this comes down to different pronunciations, but as someone who has also played Radiant Dawn a fuckton, who the actual fuck is "Villoo"
Edit: he just slightly slurred the way he pronounced Volug in the beginning. It confounded me lol, as I pronounce his name as "Vōh-loog" where the "voh" is the stressed part
Ha! Happy and clappy laguz brothers and the goofy goober squad. I called them stooges because they went around attacking random bandits and begnion weaklings
Sothe for me just unequiped his daggers and tanked haha 😂 most valuable man until Edward Nolan zihark and Aran pull their pants up
Meg is heavy enough to shove Sothe, which by itself is more useful than anything Leonardo can do in part 1.
I mean leonardo chipping is a waste of exp fr better to take one extra turn on a chapter than having leonardo chip to get kills faster
(Sorry for the long comment I love this game and this unit.)
Oh btw there’s an Action Replay code that enables enemy ranges on hard mode! I dunno if you play the game on emulator or on console but the code is 04191BO8 28000003
04052CD8 28000003
04067C9C 28000003.

S tier:
Sothe - It's basically reserved for him. Hard carry through Part 1, doesn't really fall off until you fight the Apostle's army. Can use Beast Killers in Laguz maps.
A tier:
Aran - Most underappreciated unit in Fire Emblem.
B tier:
Jill - If you get a strength screwed Jill then she ain't worth it.
C tier:
Nailah, Volug, Black Knight - EXP hogs that should only be on your team if you're that desperate for manpower.
D tier:
Meg: Only thing keeping Meg out of F tier is her class and her availability. She's trash otherwise.
Muarim/Vika: Not worth using due to the Laguz timer, but can be used to rescue villagers in the swamp map.
F tier:
Fiona: Passion project for the suicidal.

Zihark possibly ONLY if you a rank supported him with Ike otherwise he dies to a swift breeze because unlike mia and edward he cannot dodge tank. then if edward grows poorly just use mia, shes slightly worse than edward but not enough to matter 1 more speed means nothing but 1 less str can sometimes maybe? and still you lost nothing of value by feeding edward where if you feed nolan unless youre forcing him into the tower team just doesnt cut it. that said a bad Edward is exceptionally bad. so i would say high C low B tier in Hard mode, but honestly still the best dump for xp his early chapters, and if he fails dumping him means you lost literally nothing.
psyche of the average 3h fan greater than one of engage fan but not by much
