I love these videos because as the game goes on it goes from like "Thid is a bandit. He's attacking the village because he's a bandit." To like "General Smith is fighting to protect his wife and unborn child, and he's childhood friends with your Jagen"

4:27 I like how IS got Fire Emblem Characters that almost sounds the same like there are three Arthurs for a example.

PoR is one of my favs. Ashnard is the rare exception of the classic evil king actually being the big bad and being a known threat for pretty much the entire game (well until the sequel anyway). But then you find out about Ashnard and Soren and wow….
Also people may laugh at this, but when I was younger, and I heard that the last boss of Radiant Dawn also started with “Ash”, I thought Ashera was going to be related to Ashnard lol. >_<
It’s very coincidental that the two last bosses share that starting sound when I can’t think of any other last boss that does in any other game.

Its very funny that Ashnard was all about "strength rules all" when Laguz "royals" are chosen by "whose the strongest". Perhaps his ideology could be expanded more but nah :v

I mean the only reason he was king was because he used a blood pact to cheat his way to throne status. Ashnard is only Neigh Invisible because he has Blessed armor (A BS game mechanic that can softlock the player if their Ike and Ena or Nasir are Too Weak to deal with Ashnard).

@@ChillstoneBlakeBlast I mean the Royal Laguz can also damage him so just use them, that’s why they are there. Also I may give you Ena but Nasir could beat Ashnard if you don’t play dumb.

I always thought Heddwyn was a funny boss. You’ve beaten the Black Knight and are excited to fight Ashnard, but standing in your way is… Heddwyn. You know the fight won’t be difficult the second you see him.

I've always felt some kind of pity for both Shiharam and Petrine: they're basically taking advantage of the fucked up strenght-based meritocracy Ashnard puts up and its ideological fallacies (such as despise for the weak and racism) yet both are victims of the system itself

Ena and Shiraham were the most tragic. I think Petrine is the most memorable other than BK who’s pretty iconic.

4:27 Is there a Fire Emblem character name Rickard.

    • @halvey_

Yes, Rickard is a thief from the Archanean games. In this game the boss is called Rikard, without the c.

I'm excited for Engage but I was really hoping for Fire Emblem: Radiant Saga for Switch compiling both Tellius games in one. This a good video but incomplete without its Radiant Dawn counterpart that I'm looking forward to.
