I remember reading the book. Manchee’s death was the saddest part because in the book he had a voice so Todd could talk to him. Manchee had the cutest personality so his death was heartbreaking. He also sacrificed himself for Todd in the book

Hopefully there’s a sequel. Seems like there was a lot of potential in developing the plot with the native aliens. A good twist at the end would have had the one from earlier returning at the end to impact the final fight scene.
It makes sense that Prentiss town went to shit, literally all the men have the equivalent of severe schizophrenia and psychosis to an extreme degree with no source of medication or solace. It creates a realistic situation for mass hysteria where one group of the society is completely mentally vulnerable and ill whilst the other group is completely fine, that sorta divide can easily trigger a "its Us or Them" mentality.
I loved this Trilogy, Todd and Manchee reminded me of Me & My Dog. This was Hands Down my Favorite Book, (or 3 Books really...) in the World when I found it in Middle School, and it still remains my Favorite to this Day!

This movie makes me glad that humans have the inconvenience of spewing only one thought at a time through their mouths after choosing the loudest idea in their mind.

I vaguely remember that there was a character who was apparently immortal, who was one of the first settlers from thousands of years earlier... can not remember what it was called.

Seeing the dog die makes me feel heartbroken. I have dogs myself and I'm just thinking how I'll react when they die. I jeep on rewatching the scene and it just makes me soo sad
It depends on the day! Sometimes I nail most of it in one go. Sometimes I get tongue tied and have to do multiple takes on lots of lines. Either way, I do some editing afterwards 🙂
