Glad to see you back, I had been wondering how you and your family were. Don't worry about what anyone else thinks about your life. You and your husband are deep in the midst of the busiest and most expensive period that you'll ever have. You're young with a mortgage, three small children, and all the needs that go with it. As you say, life is uncertain and you're trying to balance it all. I'm frugal in areas that don't really matter to me so we can spend in areas that do matter. I'm in my sixties, and if you're open to a little piece of advice (I know no one ever really wants any advice), if you can, spend time. Time with your family, your kids, friends, etc. I've learned that it's later than you think. Wishing you and your family all the best from the east coast of Canada.
My brother had whooping cough as a baby.It left him vulnerable to chest infections all his life.He is now sixty six years old.Your little one seems to be a fighter.I was wondering where you areand its good to see you again, but of course your family must come first.Hope happier times are coming for you and your family x
Lovely to see you back. Glad your son is out of hospital, hope you get some answers to the tests he’s had. Good idea just post when you can. Some Christmas recipe ideas would be brilliant please! Thank you.
So pleased that things are looking up with regards to family health issues. Because you have been frugal it means that you can go on a holibob later. That is why I adhere to the frugal lifestyle . You take care of yourself. So lovely to have a catch up . X
Your poor baby, I'm so sorry to hear what you've been through... Scary! So happy to see you back! Its always good to reevaluate our decisions. You are very wise for doing this.
I'm so glad you and your family are okay. You've been on my mind the last few weeks. I've also taken a step back from goals and my business as my son was repeatedly poorly in his early years (still in them now!). I'm here for all the content. Home ed. 1 income family. Recipes. All of it. Don't worry about being frugal enough, we all have our own views on that and won't ever please the crowd. Spending money to improve your quality of life is important. Take care of you 💖
Bless you all, be well, thank you for making these videos even if you’re not earning from them yet, I have learned a lot from you so I appreciate you taking the time to do them ❤
Hypocrite ! 🤣 sorry.... couldn't resist :) Life changes, because we ourselves change, learn and develop.... so alterations along the way, are a good sign that our minds remain open. Best wishes to you all.... I've learned a lot from your videos...so thank you 👍
Oh Amelia I’m so sorry to hear this update and wish I could hug you. I’m a Christian sahm of 3 and have relied on frugality to be able to stay at home. Mine are now older and with hindsight I would say you are 100% correct. We arrived at the same conclusion and relaxed our frugality during similar life events. Two of ours have had chronic health issues and I’ve spent many a night in NHS hospitals. Our third is now an older teen and walking through some surgeries and we have realised that one of the benefits of being frugal is that during the quiet times we can be on target to allow for spending when things are more challenging. Please don’t be shamed in spending money. Money is meant to be spent when needed otherwise what is the point? Every time I feel guilty for spending I try to flip it and give thanks for being able to save money in the past and for provision to allow me to spend. It helps.
Praying for you. You are doing so well. Please don’t worry about videos just know that there are those of us out there that care and are thinking of you. I love listening to Lincoln Brewers song while I wait. I have a Spotify playlist called sos (the free version 😊) that has songs on that soothe… you know at 3am … during a panic attack…in A&E etc. let me know if you want me to list some of the songs xxxxx
Thank you ! It’s so nice to hear someone coming out of the other end, when you’re in it it feels like forever! Hope your youngest is going okay! 💛 Thank you for watching! 💛💛💛
It’s hard and it does feel like forever because it’s all consuming. My biggest advice would be to look after yourself. That’s my biggest regret as I’d have coped better if I’d prioritised that more. Daily walks on my own are my priority… we have a 5am start next week to travel 2 hours to a hospital so I’ll factor in a short walk before we leave with headphones on humming along to worship music (I’ve leant not to sing along because people stare😂) Massive hugs my love. One day you’ll be able to look back at this and realise how strong you are. X
Wow, you have been through a hard time. It's good to hear that your little one is on the mend. My philosophy around frugality is to keep the bills as low as possible and not buy unnecessary "stuff", then use the savings to enhance your life in the long term. For me that means tucking as much as possible into my pension so I can retire early, but at your time of life, with 3 kids, I'd be spending money on days out/holidays. Making memories that will last a lifetime!
@@Gary_Luke thank you!! 💛 Yes 100% as I have to remind myself everyday! I can have everything but I can’t have everything all at once. Slow and steady! 💛💛💛
Flipping heck, how horrible for you! I hope your baby is on the mend. Make your channel more general maybe? People love family lifestyle stuff with a frugal vibe. You’re allowed to spend money as a frugal Person. You maybe just spend it more intentionally.
Lovely video and glad you’re all ok and well. 😊
New subscriber so glad you baby doing well xx
