Absolutely gorgeous quilt. I just love those colours. I only just found you yesterday, how on earth did I miss you all these years?! Thanks for sharing your talent with us. I feel inspired. x
Love all batiks. They are so organic that they sing to me. I really like the spin you give on things. Seeing things from someone elses view helps us all learn to broaden our choices. What one person pairs with a certain fabric might not be our 1st choice but we may like it better if we widen our vision. You do a fabulous job and make it so much fun!
This is a great block! Love the color scheme! One of my favorite things about working with fabrics is my husband, who has no sewing experience, will come in and see something completely different and have a great idea! Inspiration from everywhere! I wish I had that template! I need to go to the site! Rob, congrats on your 6 years! I know we (RUclips fandom) are so happy for you! Glad that you love to 'Mansew!'
This is amazing Rob, thought it would be much harder. You give me the confidence to go for it, thank you from a warm but wet New Zealand. We had two weeks of cyclones which cut power to 280,000 homes in Auckland including ours. So now it's catch up time. Xx
I Absolutely Love this! Putting on my “To Do” list. Might even bump it before other to do’s. At first I couldn’t understand the wedge symbol on ruler, you saying wedge on wedge. But I like how you repeat your steps because by the third time it sunk in. Thank-you Rob
Thank you for doing this.. i bought the ruller back when it first came out and tucked it away... this demonstration has renewed my enthusiasm!!!! Hugs, gB
Rob, that quilt is awesome! My template is patiently waiting for my burstblocks. I'm still making up my mind on what to make. the basic idea is there, it will be fab!
I just love your channel, I watch yours and Jenny Doans and you both do such wonderfully detailed tutorials, I also love the fact that you have a lot of projects that I can do for my son, love it, thank you 😁😁
Rob will you start letting us know how big the quilts turned out, how much material is needed for backing and how we could make a bigger size if possible?
And you need certain type of material gorgeous quilt i have to admit but i stick with the easy ones got. My illusion quilt almost done surprised i did it
Great teaching, very clear with instructions for a beginner like me ThankYou Can you show us how to do the diamond wedding stars quilt pattern by timeless treasures paper piecing method
My favourite batiks are the Sew Easy Indonesian batiks. I think you should make a BARCODE QUILT. I made one for my Granddaughter Shiloh. In DaFont.com there is a font called Barcode which makes a mixture of black & white lines for letters. If you type in your name you get a personalized pattern. Youcan hen give each stripe a measurement allowance & attach together.leave the central portion shorter to accommodate numbers which is the date of birth! Everyone's patterns will be different . They turn out amazing but so easy.
Dawn Mason I just visited the website, found the font, then clicked on the direct link. I was greeted by a photo of a young lady who really could've done with a quilt! I got a real gynaecologist's eye view.
This sounds like a really neat idea but I am struggling to imagine what exactly you mean. Would you send us a picture in a private message on our Facebook page? I would love to put a visual to your description!

Oh man, that sounds rough! I hope all is well and things are getting back to normal.
Great quilt! Much better instructions than the ones you gave in your two previously videos for the bursted block star. Thanks for this!
Another true piece of art, keep up the exciting show-stoppers!
Beautiful quilt Rob and I love the material. Batiks and grunge are my favorites. I love all batiks but Island Batiks is my favorite line.

Hoffman makes my favorite batiks. They seem to glow the brightest of any batiks. Hard to not love all batiks.
