I think that Mr Vaughn is a criminally underrated actor. We all know he has comedy chops. However, he also has tremendous range. The barracks scene in Hacksaw Ridge is spectacular and one of the most wonderfully over-the-top yet believable Staff Sergeant characters since Full Metal Jacket. Here, it’s plain to see he’s passionate about what he does and loves getting into the core of what the story, and his character, is truly about.

Swingers is a great time capsule of the age before social media, when you really had to just have the courage to walk up to someone and meet them. I miss that time.

I used to regard Vince Vaughn as just another personality but this changed all of that. He had so much insight into his roles that it changed my mind. Likewise, I learned that I am woefully unfamiliar with all of his roles and need to seek out more of his movies now.
Could watch any Vince Vaughn film, he's entertaining and down to Earth and that comes across in his characters. Wedding Crashers is one of my all time favorites.

I had to stop watching having gone through the same thing. Made me like the movie even more. I agree with him in that there were too many hand in hat movies and to see the movie end that way I originally thought was good bc of it being different but more realistic.

Vince is a surprisingly versatile actor. His comedies are legendary, but he's really talented in dramatic roles, too. His performance in True Detective season 2 was incredible, really makes you connect with the character, almost like he's a Scarface wannabe falling on his face.
Not trying to be a jerk here as I'm generally a Vince Vaughn fan, but I couldn't disagree more. That character and performance was laughably bad. So bad that the showrunner made a public apology for the whole season.
He was so much fun in Freaky. Afterwards I watched Brawl in Cell Block 99. Vince could be the next slasher icon. Hulking, scary presence when he wants to exude menace.

Anybody else remember him and Jennifer Aniston got engaged after they filmed that movie. But then they went on to break up.

Vince is a surprisingly versatile actor. His comedies are legendary, but he's really talented in dramatic roles, too. His performance in True Detective season 2 was incredible, really makes you connect with the character, almost like he's a Scarface wannabe falling on his face.
Not trying to be a jerk here as I'm generally a Vince Vaughn fan, but I couldn't disagree more. That character and performance was laughably bad. So bad that the showrunner made a public apology for the whole season.

He was so much fun in Freaky. Afterwards I watched Brawl in Cell Block 99. Vince could be the next slasher icon. Hulking, scary presence when he wants to exude menace.
It's so crazy actually seeing Vince in the real. A man with such a child like sensibility in all his movie. The age actually showing in him is insane.
