I was a bit disappointed with American Trucks recently when trying to buy coil overs for my lightning. They just wanted to sell me the same coil over as the gas F150, not taking into consideration that the Lightning is almost as heavy as a F250 so a larger coil over would be needed. Now I know that Americantrucks most just sells ready made parts from different manufactures with no real tech shop and that is why they have no idea of what coil over to use with the Lightning. One would have to go to a more technically advanced shop to get the correct part in this case.
I wish you mentioned the affect on the range with the puck spacer and new tires on the Lightening. Definitely great mods that make the truck look 10x better.
Good point! MotorTrend actually wrote an article and tested this themselves, I'll put the link below but they were able to record roughly 9% drop in range with similar sized tires installed on their Lightning. Agreed that the lift and wheels make this truck look a hell of a lot better! -Zach www.motortrend.com/reviews/2022-ford-f-150-lightning-wheels-and-tires/
I got the Atturo tires based on this video. I think they look great and price was good. What I did not research was how bad the range was reduced. At least 20 percent reduction in range.
This past week I replaced tires on my lightning with an all-terrain tire and I lost 30% of my range. Unfortunately will have to go back and get a new set of tires.😢
why did you go with 2.5" over 2" I'm torn between them. I tow sometimes, but not all the time. I know the the 2" wont mess with range or Blue cruise on factory wheels and tires. does the 2.5" do the same?
Can’t deny the lift and tire/wheel combo look good but this is an EV so range will be obviously reduced. Anything that lowers range is a dealbreaker in my books. Kinda defeats the purpose.

Thats a huge loss, makes the extended range version drop to sub 300 miles on full charge.
No thanks.
@americantrucks
Leveling made a huge difference
Thanks for watching! -Zach
When leveling a Lightning with Blue Cruise, do the sensors need to be recalibrated?

I’d love to hear more about this. I was debating new wheels and tires but this has spooked me
That is a nice tonneau cover and exactly what I was looking!
Thanks for watching! -Zach
They don't have lightning as an option to purchase truck parts. What engine model do I choose that is close to lightning.
step one i need to buy a lighting
Definietly an important first step, haha! Thanks for watching! -Zach
Step 2 drive it to the junk yard and crush it.
@@JAG6.7 i dont drive much so a extended range lighting would be fine
Step 3 buy a superDuty
STock running board looks way better :-) Wish you had one for the auto deploying running boards
How much range loss with these wheels?
9%

Ouch that's alot of range to loose.
Your fitment guide on your website doesn’t list electric for powetrain choices
Yup. What ICE F150 is the closest Match? Weird they still don’t have the ability to add the Lightning as a Vehicle choice to check fitment

Why isnt the bed cover sold anymore

Out of reach for most of us. Price of vehicle $$$ and adding MODs $$$$.
it turned out to be a great pickup!!! but the thresholds had to be left as factory ones!!! they had a wonderful backlight.
How about a generator mount to increase the piss poor range?
Piss poor?? It’s a few hundred miles. I wouldn’t call that piss poor.
EV’s look cool from far, but are far from cool , give me a diesel any day!
The best thing to do is not buy lightning
Tell me where the man touched you…
