You guys make some great videos that are very informative and helpful. It blows my mind how many nay sayers come to the channel just to comment. I’ve had my 2023 pro for about 9 months now and have had zero problems. The prediction on range has been nearly spot on. If anything I’ve found that the prediction is very conservative and I usually go farther than predicted. Living in a small town area having a home charger is the key. It’s pretty awesome waking up to a “full tank” every day.
Crazy. I just bought a 24 Flash today not knowing it didn’t come with “phone as key” or a garage door opener. Mind is blown that those 2 options aren’t standard. Traded in my Mach E GTPE. Disappointed to say the least but other than that the truck is amazing.
I have an electric Kia Niro, I like not having to do oil changes, and thanks to regen, the brakes will last forever. Overall, love the car. Here is the negative, it's complicated compared to old school, put key in door, ignition switch, check paper map, and shift into drive and go. So, now if the battery in the key fob dies, how do you get into truck? LED screen is useless on bumpy roads, and it takes your eyes off the road. Old school doesn't have a menu of items with multiple options. If you want to un-plug it, read the manual, and learn about special buttons. Also, verbal commands, like phone home, destination address does not always work. I'll stick to my gas powered F-150 for a bit more, until they put buttons and knobs in place of the screen. Screen for navigation only.
They answered your key fob question in the video. And as for the screen they sell the truck without the 15 inch touch . You can get it with the 12 inch standard looking f150 screen. Additionally i cant see why you would be touching the screen while driving anyway unless you were changing the playlist in your Bluetooth. Music can be controlled from the steering wheel. As for verbal commands... well thats perspective works fine for most all the time.
Just ditched my tesla model s plaid for the lightning flash. I never liked the Rivian nor the Cybertruck and Ford is tried and tested in service, customer service, warranty claims, dealer network etc. Thanks for the videos! Do you have a sunroof? Not sure whats with all those lights on your roof
Would be nice to be able to add a 12kw Generator for in-motion towing range extender. Many RVs have generators that could extend range while towing the RV.
You talked about preset charging locations based on times. but left out WHY THE FUCK DOES IT MATTER WHAT TIME YOU CHARGE.... lol could it be because PEAK hours its costs more for KW rather then another time. comon guys do better.
@@TH-bk5hjmost truck owners don’t tow often. It powered my house during a power outage that lasted 2 days during a heatwave this summer, battery barely went down. Great on a road trip w the fam. Just brought a bunch of old brush to the transfer station yesterday. Oh and it’s 0-60 in less than 4 seconds. You should really test drive one.
Every dealer should be required to watch this video!
Thanks to Town and Country for all the Lightning content since launch. It is what held me over until now! Keep up the good work team.
Great video! Current Lightning owner that has researched it obsessively, but I didn't know about the different levels of chargers!

Same!! I fully expected phone as a key on my 24 flash and am really frustrated it isn’t here.
I didn't know I could customize charge settings when I add chargers! Great info, thanks!
Awesome! So glad we could help!!!
Absolutely very helpful guys! Thank you so much! Love my lightning ⚡

You are very welcome!
Love the new channel!
Thank you so much! A lot more fun content is coming your way!
Impressive - at least five of the "hidden features" were unknown to me.
Thank you so much.

That charging menu works great, as long as you always want to charge to 100%. At least in my F150 Lightning. C’mon Ford!
one crazy thing about this electric keyfob is that theres a battery inside it
Wish someone would do one with a Pro for us poor folks 😂
Neutral tow because you ran out of "juice".
How about just tow and regen charge. Then drive to the charger.
The lightning comes with a fat man in the frunk?
!
The charge/mileage indicator is very optimistic
I like you, it's fun with you
None of those were really hidden features.....

Another hidden feature. You can’t put a snow plow on it
Wanna bet? ruclips.net/video/HTsSumpOCe8/видео.html
He's a hidden cost, look up how much it costs to replace the battery.
Sell it before the 8 years is up and don't worry about it
one word junk
Useless truck
Says the willfully ignorant.
@@Fronkensteinen Tow with it once 😂. Or maybe you shouldn’t. 😂

Here's another hidden feature: If you're lucky, in real-world driving, you'll get half the predicted range!! Sign me up !!
Another hidden feature.. You won't actually know unless you own one
Tell me that you have never actually driven an EV.
And you’re speaking from what experience? Lemme guess, nothing other than what something else that doesn’t own one told you.
My father has the platinum. It goes further than advertised. This comment was made by someone who doesn't understand how EVs work.
Willful ignorance.
