Attorneys for Rex Heuermann's wife and children shared photos from inside the family home and announced plans to sue investigators for the damage left behind.
It’s the home of an alleged serial killer. They have cooperated but their home is now unlivable. That’s not fair, his family isn’t accused of anything and shouldn’t have to pay to fix their own home after police destroyed it.
I have to wonder if there will be anything left after everything related to the investigation and his prosecution have been seized. And I have to think the POS probably did nothing to secure his family’s future. Asa & her grown children likely own nothing but their clothes. I’m sorry they may be innocent but that house was a crime scene for mass murders I do not believe they have any business suing law authorities for not leaving the house tidy enough for them.
