You got this! Truly! It's hard to do this every single day, but you have the strength to do it. Remember your big why for staying healthy, and try not to let that voice in your head discourage you.
On types: I am classified 1.5! I was originally classified as 2, but it has progressed into what is officially called Latent Autoimmune Diabetes of Adults (LADA), which has a mix of issues of both types 1 and 2. When my doctor first told me my that, I had never realized there was such a thing as a mixed version. It made a little difference in some of the timing of regular testing, but for me if did not change the meds I was on at the time.
