  • The new screen actually is not glossy, it just has a glossy film.
    IPS stands for In-Plane Switching
    Old Screen: InnoLux N156HGE-EAL
    New Screen: InnoLux N156HCE-EAA

    Hey I have the same laptop and screen but I was hoping to upgrade the 60hz screen to at least a 120hz one. Do you know if you have to use the same N156HGE type or does it only matter that it's a 15.6" with the same bracket style and 30-pin connection?

      I’m unsure, but I think if it says it’s compatible, it should work. Just return it if it doesn’t.
