Gaming laptops are great machines as they enable us to play our favorite games in high resolutions. But , like all other machines they also require timely maintenance. In laptops, the fan vents often get clogged up with dust over a period of time which results in overheating of laptop. Overheating can decrease the life span of hardware and can even damage it.
So, we must clean the fan vents, reapply thermal paste once in 6 months.
Here is a video, which shows how to open a MSI G series gaming laptop properly, how to remove the heat sink etc.

At 08:45 please note the numbers near the screws, you need to unscrew them in reverse order, but keep in mind there is an order when screwing/unscrewing the heatsink screws.
Also: you need to remove the battery prior to working inside the laptop.

@@viplavkirti8252 I just had to place a new ram rest kbhi na kbhi to ye thermal paste change krna ho hoga isliye socha aage bhi dekh hi lu abhi tak it's factory sealed .

I'm unable to remove the screws below the dvd drive. Can you give some tips?
Well...are you talking about the dvd bolt itself ? Are the threads on the head of the bolt intact ?
if u mean the cd reader is in the way, u can just force it out 1 to get to the screws
if u mean the screw isnt turning, get a knife, slide it right under the screw and leverage the knife until the whole insert flies out. I did that and the strip of plastic from the case didnt even break
easily???? haha i openend up mine in 3 minutes without breaking stuff...and you did also...where is your ram memory? slots are empty
