Pros: It’s light, the recoil is nonexistent and the trigger is crisp, length of pull is perfect. Cons: Not battle tested, piston driven so it needs to be cleaned after heavy usage, FTF are a pain to clear, adjusting the gas is problematic for AR fan boys…
For military use I recommend a heavier chrome lined barrel,a better ventilated for end, with rails, some way to visually inspect the chamber from the top,and heavy duty firing pin.@@spacecomet128
Awesome rifle. I was in there last month checking out AR alternatives and one of your staff mentioned this rifle. After doing some research it’s grown on me and I’m thinking about picking one up. One question though. Seems like one of the only downsides to this rifle is that while firing from cover it tends to spit hot brass into your lap or onto your bicep, forearm area, which can burn cloths and skin. Are there any attachments that can change the trajectory of the brass other than a brass catcher?
I don't see it burning your Bicep. It could burn forearm if you were lying on your side...if that is happening in a gunfight, the burnt skin is the least of your problems. I wouldn't worry about brass on your lap unless you are sitting down and in shorts...
Yup. Got mine then. It's much more substantial and well-made than I honestly expected. Being a left hand shooter, I'd always thought the RDB & RFB guns were a great idea. Then the PSA sale just was the last barrier to purchase. I've got a Vortex Strike Eagle LPVO and offset sights on it. I also put the M-loc hand guard on it to do a better job of heat dissipation. Cool factor goes way up too.
Yep, got mine then as well. Ordered the Haga Defense mag well and Lucky Irishman bolt release before I even got the gun. Those add ons are great and the gun is great and a lot of fun to shoot. I forgot about the CQR foregrip.
The charging handle is not ambidextrous. It’s reversible. It’s always either for lefties or for righties, but never both. I hate when people say reversible is ambidextrous. Keltec could’ve made it truly ambi though. They should’ve, too, because that area around the gas tube is one of the easiest places for debris to get in. A full shroud, instead of a half shroud, would help protect it. When debris gets in that area, it becomes very difficult to charge the rifle,
Great review. Love mine.
Got one and like it a lot.

They make a brass catcher; it’s really nice and can hold 50 rounds I believe
I've only fired mine standing but haven't experienced any of those issues.
Have one, it's dope when it work but when it don't holy he'll what a jam fest.. undergassing will aggravate you and ruin a few rounds lol
PSA had these on sale for $600 during 4th of July week 2024
