Question: why did Fannita’s dad not tell his wife she went overboard? Why didn’t he stand up for his daughter? That makes me so sad. You didn’t deserve that Fannita, no matter how wild they thought you were.
It seems to me that he might have found someone to marry so quickly after her mom passed because he didn't want to have to take care of a child so I doubt that he would have cared how she was being treated, sadly.
Who knows but what an unfortunate circumstance to be raised in. She's grown now, and hopefully she has wonderful and respectful people in her life to show her what kindness and love really looks like
