You do a great job of finding the music in every instrument. They are as individual as people and yet you never force a song on an instrument that doesn’t want it. Truly a gift my friend
The tuning is : DADADE the low E string down to D and the G string up to A and the B string up to D. I just learn to play this song it's very easy but so cool I love it!
@@carlito7863 don't really see what chord he's playing for the first song. It string 6 and 5 on same fret, an pinkie finger on string 4 , 3/4 fret down ?
It‘s always a pleasure to listen the tunes michael plays! I‘ve been watching and listening those videos and tunes since i stumbled over a video he was doing at norma a couple of years ago! Since had the pleasure to talk a couple of words after a gig and he even gave me one of his normans rare guitars pics! Such an amazing and humble artist! Much love from switzerland!
Just chiming in since I have both. They are just so different it’s hard to compare. The 912CE brings out a very rhythmic style of playing. All of the beveled curves make it very immersive. Good for recording because it’s high/mids/lows are really balanced. It’s gorgeous but feels like something is missing because it’s kind of quiet and lacks low end. The Hummingbird has such a nice resonance and you can really feel the vibrations in your hands and body so it brings out a fuller style of writing and playing. You can’t lose if you’re trying to decide between the two but I’d lean Gibson if forced to make a choice.
I found a Taylor Grand National case at a local goodwill, I was SO excited until I opened it up and no guitar. But still got the case for $10 and it was brand new. Luckily it fit my Les Paul perfectly.
Firstly I thought it was a call to prayers luckily you said it was a vacuum. Then I was trying to find out which amp you gonna use???? I do like bevels it does make your arms feel not cut off . Nice playing Lemmo .👍🏻☮️❤️🌹🖖
Nothing sounds as good as a Martin. A good Guild is in 2nd place. Gibson is a distant 3rd, followed by everything else. I have an Alvarez that sounds better than any Gibson.
@@waybackplayback1347 martins are sick! My friend has one of those. I forgot the exact one he has, but it’s very unique. I love Taylor’s and ovations. They have such strong feels and sounds to em. I will own a Martin one day. I already have 7 guitars at the moment lol
Hes got all the nobs at 0..put em at 12 o'clock it really shines, dont go past 12 o'clock on mine, but the expression system really brings it all out like a piano...
Sounds way better unplugged. The electronics completely burn out its acoustic properties…or may be you just gotta tweak the eq a bit because it sounded a bit harsh.
Michael played that second piece and his left hand looks like someone pretending like they know how to play.. except the music coming out is phenomenal hahaha
I really love Taylor guitars, but why do ES2 System is sooooooooooooooo bad to my ears? Really worst electronic I've ever heard on any expensive guitar. First thing I would do - is replacing it.
Never liked Taylors,,,,sorta like Kyser Capos or what ever. Heck, they were prob used together a zillion times. ok, joking rant is over. Mana vid should have been FlatTop Fridays edition. I couldn't make it thru the first verse it hit so hard.
To me, FTF is getting annoying. Lemmo seems more concerned with showing off his chops than showcasing an acoustic instrument. Please, when shpwcasing an acoustic, 1. fingerpick and flatpick, 2. play familiar songs we can recognize . Rest of the week, do whatever you want with electrics.
@@jessegonzales7796 that's true, but I think it helps. Is the purpose of the videos to showcase guitars for sale, or Lemmo's chops? Go back and look at Mark's FTF videos and more recently, Todd's. Both of them showed some very fine skill but made the guitar the star, imho. I know by many of the comments here many don't share my view, but I don't care, it's my opinion as a lover of acoustic instruments.
You are one of the very best guitarists in the world. Blessings from South Africa, Kruger National Park.
What's the first song you played? Is it your own arrangement? Sounds gorgeous on Taylor!
It sounds like his own, but drawing influence from CCR.
I always fast forward to the playing. Love It!

Thanks, D'addario, for ad sponsoring this great guitar video!!!
Lemmo plays better everyday. A pleasure to listen to him
Killer demo, Mr. Lemmo! One of my favorites so far.
Thank you mike for shining in the dark when everything goes wrong
Beautiful playing. Beautiful guitar. Thanks for demo, yet again...like getting free concert and viewing instruments that are amazing
The playing is insane 🤯
She's purdy. I have a 2010 610ce natural/amber and It's beautiful and sounds amazing. Taylor has made many great guitars.

I love my Taylor, I have the 414-ce-r and it is just a great sounding guitar. Good job Mike and Jen!
Taylor's are awesome. Michael is too! Great playing!!
6:45 mind blown 🤯!!!!! Great playing bro not a bad note in there !
It sounds amazing plugged in. Wow, the pickup system sounds great.
I own that model in sunburst finish. Incredible guitar.
So great 🔥🔥
Very articulate, dynamic, and responsive. 🎧
Yeah what tuning you using? Tried to emulate first song? I cant lol
Very nice music. Thanks! Love from Sweden 💕🇸🇪🇸🇪
Great played!👊🙏💕💖🦋🎼
Damn does Michael play well! There just aren’t many that can play like that

They call it Mellow Lemmo.
That's right Slip.
What's the amp and settings?
Single notes?
Chords and fingerpicking sound good.
Stay cool
How beautifull playing bro🤩
Sold !
Such beautiful playing Michael. I don’t know guessing Dave Matthews band?
Dave chords
Hey Michael what was your fav between the 912ce and the 2022 Gibson Hummingbird?

Great guitar.. and really awesome playing.. sorry I’m gonna steal them riffs!!! Or at least try😅
I am convinced this guy can make any guitar sound great !
You have more talent in one hand than 99% of the people on the radio
Phenomenal playing
The real deal 💥
I feel as the though the acoustic pickup system on taylor's is one of the best out there
That was breathtaking bro 😎 Amazing playing
where can i learn this song? it's so goooood
Very nice !
Ive played guitar for 20 years and still have absolutely no idea how lemmo plays parts of that second song
Taylor is that brand that just needs to be up there with Martin and Gibson! Great guitars with such great builds! However! Gotta do a Maton!
Taylor is easily as good as Martin or Gibson, imo.
Matons are sweet. I want a mini.
Man Taylor is my favorite guitars of all acoustics I own seven High end Taylor's. I also have Martin guitars but I am more into the Taylor's.

Does lemmo have Venmo? Somebody want to cover that ticket?!?
Very cool guitar. Taylor 900 series is great.
Taylor’s have the best acoustic guitar sound in my opinion. Great video! 🙏🏻

Got the tuning
mad skills, Lemmo; gorgeous guitar, love my 810, Taylor's are glossy & bright, and the electronics are second to none off the shelf
Absolute forest killer........one sharp axe.
The sound hole on the guitar is huge. Anyone know how the reason behind that?
Got any Alvarez Yairi guitars to demo?
Great playing
That second song was the best bipolar song of beauty
Whats the first song he plays?
Describe how the guitar was tuned, loved his playing
Just read the comments on the tuning!

Be nice if they responded to comments
The guitar looks so little on Lemmo. Great playing as usual.
Lol he’s a big dude! I met him a few years ago. Sweet guy and super down to earth!
Check out Gabriella Quevedo's channel. She makes a Taylor sound better than anyone.
C’mon Norm! How about some parking for the employees?
Dang it Norm, I got this notification while trying to watch Earwax and Butt Hair, What Makes Humans Superior...Come On Man!
Didn't they teach you not to get high on your own supply?😂
