Lemmo just never ceases to amaze me. The last song had to be way harder on an acoustic 12 string with those hammer ons and pull offs, yet he played it flawlessly.

Taylor Guitars recently partnered with Buck knives to supply scraps of fingerboard ebony for use as handle scales on knives.
The famous Buck 110, the 112, 55 , and other popular lockback models will use real ebony for the first time in 30 years or so and it's a great thing.

If you pick up say a Buck 110 at your local Walmart you'll have to look for the new package that states the use of ebony.
All the Walmarts around here still have year old stock with the resin impregnated laminate wood.
You could just order one from Bladehq though.
Definitely don't get it from Amazon or eBay, you can likely get a counterfeit from these two sources.

Favorite day of the week and it didn't disappoint. Great playing and a 12 string Taylor, was a nice change. Hopefully, we can get another Guild for flat top Friday soon.

Beautiful clear spruce top, framed by stunning sides and back. Nice work Taylor .. 5th tuning is very interesting.. AANNDDD again, Lemo Demo is a knockout performance... inspiring and fun to listen to.

Brill. Loved the first one in particular. Shades of 60’s acoustic guitar and Hendrix-esk hammer ons and pull offs. The last one sounds even better on12 string than 6 string. Great stuff thanks Lemmo.
I luv the sound of a 12 string , and this Taylor sounds especially good plugged in , of course it helps to have a player like Lemmo and his 12 fingers at the helm , must be where the 6 on 6 comes from , but awe inspiring at any rate , great demo , very nice guitar , another fantastic flat top Friday. I have a taylor with Hawaiian koa sides and back and solid sitka spruce top..it sounds like heaven i love taylor to me they are the best guitars out there..

ive been playing 12 string for over 30 years and this tuning gave inspiration to try the 5th tuning Michael used here. It gives that natural chorus so much fatter of a sound. Can't wait to try it out.

Great playing Lemmo! I don't own a Taylor but they seemed to get pooped on by the traditionalists. Frankly, I really enjoy their innovation. Nice to see one on GOTD!

I knew the kid could play but regret not checking him out sooner. The song Angel is very “the killers” esq but he really changes his sound song to song. There is a wicked wahwah solo in “what goes on” too

Us Bass players loves Jens work, and of course her laugh. My first guitar I bought long ago was a Takamine 12 string for $199.00 (ok in 1976) loved it, the guy I sold it to still has it with the OHSC.
Finally!! Not a Gibson or a Martin!! I love Taylor guitars and have a beautiful koa. I am very interested in 12 string guitars and the vintage Yamaha does not even hold a candle to this one. I just might have to get one ☝️. Lemmo as always is outstanding!!
Got my 254ce over a week ago, superb guitar, haven't been able to put it down for long without having withdrawal! My Les Pauls and Strats are getting jealous! ROFL!

I believe this is the first Taylor on GOTD. What year is it? They started this model in 2016.
It's a guitar you can pick up on Reverb.com for about a grand. Nothing special AT ALL.

I have 2 Taylors (614 and a 710, both powered by LR Baggs) and I love them both. I beat the crap out of guitars, and both are great live. This 12 is absolutely lovely...in fact, I might make a phone call to California in the morning...

Nice OG tunes Michael, Taylor’s and actually some Martin’s, harder to find make playing 12 strings much easier. Loved the tunes, brought me back to listening to Patrick O’hearn. Going in for back surgery (disc issue) but hope to be out by Tuesday to tune back in. Would have loved to hear those tunes on a 362CE or 562CE! Keep up the good work J&M. Would you please do some Jazz tune with Norm on that 64 Bass? Thanks 🙏🏻
