Manukau Indian FM is operated by its President, Speaker and Host - Praneil Chandra. He is a Software and Website Specialist whose 6-year-old great-grandfather was brought to Fiji by the Colonial British Empire to serve in Girmit also known as Indian Slavery. Praneil is also an accomplished Prachaarak and singer of Fiji Indian Girmitiya Music style of Ramayan (Ram Charit Maanas), Tambura Bhajan, Lokgeet, Faag, Bidesia and Kirtan.
