I got lucky. My little review: I found that the personal item size was generous and I actually could have taken a bigger bag. Take care to not over stuff. If you paid for a carry on, it’s your standard carry on size. Personally, I’d go for a soft sided bag without any wheels. Don’t overstuff it. I didn’t experience any significant delays on my flights. One got delayed by 10 minutes because the crew was running late. Not a big deal. Got to my destination 30 minutes early. Err on the side of caution and expect some delays. No inflight entertainment and no complimentary snacks or drinks. Download some entertainment in advance and be ready to shell out $4.39 for a can of coke. You’re better off just bringing your own drinks and snacks. I will say that the snacks and drinks selection is decent. I did not pay for seats, but I did pay for priority boarding. I got a window seat my first flight and a middle seat on the second flight. If you want better seats, you’ll definitely pay for them otherwise they’re sticking you towards the back of the plane. Planes are cramped and seats aren’t all that comfortable. Make sure you have a seat cushion and neck pillow. You’ll need them. Standard seats aren’t going to have much legroom but to be fair, I’ve been on more uncomfortable planes. My experience was decent enough, though after the priority boarding and carry on bags both ways, I ended up paying more than I would have had I gone through another airline. If you’re going somewhere for a weekend and you’re only taking a few outfits then Frontier could be a decent option, but I would check out other options first.
Ryanair is a better way than frontier airlines...I flew with Ryanair many times...they are ok with a personal items bag... They don't check it...but with frontier airlines you need to be careful or you will end by paying double of your ticket
I flew frontier Airlines years ago from Houston to Seattle My plane had mechanical issues out of Denver So I changed to another aircraft. But arrived in Seattle safely. 👍
I flew from Atlanta to Tampa on Thanksgiving with Frontier. And I don’t know the price of it because my cousin booked it not me because I’m not old enough to. And during waiting time. The plane had to be changed because of problems with the one we were gonna use. But, besides that. Frontier honestly wasn’t bad in my opinion. I didnt interact with the flight attendants and wasnt paying attention to others when they wanted something. So honestly. Ill give it a 4 or 5.

ABSOLUTELY the worst airline. I was stranded for 23 hrs. at Tampa airport. Delay, delay, cancel. Zero compensation and rescheduled flight delayed as well. I'll pay more for reliability and not having to fly with steerage grade passengers.

I had my flight delayed 7 hours. When arriving, no one was on the front desk, I was running everywhere to try to find information. I missed flight by 3 minutes, because it's impossible to check in. You have to use whatsapp to communicate with them now. No reimbursement. When someone finally came out from the plane, she kept on arguing with me and thinks that 1 hour before the flight is late. This is in sacramento fronteir. I just tell myself that the man in the sky doesn't want me to fly that day. 😂
I might be the odd one out but I’ve never had an issue with Frontier nor Spirit. Maybe it’s because I have 50k elite status with them which includes free carry on bags and seat selection but every time I travel with them it’s been smooth from start to finish and has saved me thousands. Even before I obtained status, i ensured my personal item fit in the bin and never had an issue with staff/gate agents.

Where and howmany stops did your direct flight stop beforing reaching your destination? Big difference between direct, non stops and connecting flights. Airlines are raising fares and fees as a response to the governments absurd new rules. Airlines will also strictly enforce thier rules. Your $29 fare is gone now. The government has screwed passengers not the airlines.
Southwest is not as good as they used to be. No more non stop flights plus the times for the flights are way early or arrivals are way late or they have next day arrivals! I’ll try Frontier next year when I go to Florida non stop is the way to go. Plus it’s cheaper the Southwest. Too bad because I’ve flown them for years and just recently it changed. 😢
