Great Video. We have been flying with Frontier this year for the first time. We bought the Go Wild Pass and have flown on 23 flights since May. We are not fans of the exit row, the first few rows have more leg room than the exit los and not a fan of the tray tales between the seat. We also status matched ad paid $99 to get Elite status to bring in a carry on bag which is a win win as have carried on a bag 4 time so we have saved on carry on bag fees. We haven't flown to Guatemala yet but need to look into doing a trip there.

Happy Friday. I'm glad you two made it safely. I haven't had a problem with Frontier. I liked them. I flew on Spirit for the first time in August and I liked them also.
When you are in zone 1, meaning you paid for a carry on they never make you size you bags…. For both Spirit and Frontier

Love y’all and your videos!!! Just wanted to point this out in case you’re not aware but the audio on channel 2 (right) is way lower than channel 1 (left). Very noticeable when listening on earbuds (this also occurred on the previous Disney cruise video). I think this has something to do with your external mics because Aaron’s voiceover and the sponsored part of the video has good balanced audio on both channels.

I flew with Frontier from California and on a separate round trip to Puerto Rico. There were no problems on the flight from California to Texas. On the return from PR, the flight was overbooked. They paid a few people who were willing to wait the next day for a flight into Texas. Other than that, there weren't any problems.
Great video! I have that same Nirvana shirt. I was thinking about choosing them for my next flight. I usually fly JetBlue.

Exactly! The customer service is nonexistent. The plane is fine. It was clean but their ghetto employees will have you on the no fly list because they will try you.🤞🍀

Was flying frontier form Cancun to Atlanta. Frontier canceled the flight at the last minute. Left about 100 people at the checkin counter last minute 30 minutes before the flight was supposed to leave. All the people on my flight formed an angry mob and started rioting . Because people had to get back from vacation to go to work, reach connecting flights, pick up kids. It was complete chaos and they essentially forced everyone to pay for their own hotel last minute in Cancun and get their own transportation which was expensive.
I can beleive it. My daughter didnt have a boarding pass but they let her on then while taxing to runway asked for her boarding pass. She told her she didnt get one so turned plane around and back to gate. Essorted her off plane n left her with no refund or plane flight. Not impressed with frontier. Then Try and get ahold of them to discuss what went on. NOT
I’ll hit the greyhound before I fly frontier. Then do some to my back the cheap seats😊

Ive been seeing a lot of videos recently where the bag actually fits inside the bag sizer, but people are being charged anyway. I think that's one of the major things now that people consider whether or not flying with Frontier or Spirit, because if you get charged for bags, the price really isn't any different than the other airlines.
I think it depends on the city.
I flew out of Dallas, no issue. BUT Las Vegas was a completely different situation. I had a 6am flight out. I can't speak for those with carry-ons as I had a personal item only.
They basically made EVERYbody put their bag in the sizer before you got to the scanning agent. Then she double checked that the bags had fit 😮.
Blessings to the both you. I haven't seen the return flight portion of this trip and I pray you don't have the experience that ripped me with Frontier. I realize it is dated but I hope you will appreciate the pain. As you state in this video, Frontier is a Denver based carrier... guess what my home airport is DIA. My wife and I travelled to Atlanta in 2013 for the Final Four. Even back then there were relatively negative stories about Frontier, but because of the Final Four, travel into Atlanta became a challenge. We booked travel several months in advance. We got to Atlanta fine; had a great time at the tournament and the city treated us well. As we tried to leave everything went south and I don't mean FL. We arrived at Hartsfield very early, and because we needed to check a bag, we found the Frontier counter. When we got to the counter there was no one there, which didn't concern us because again we arrived very early. About an 90 mins. before schedule departure, we went back to the counter where we found about 20 or so other passengers heading to DIA (home operations for Frontier). Again, no one was at the ticket counter. After being there for about 20 mins a Frontier employee, who had walked around the counter but not committing to work the counter asked; Why are you all here? To which we all replied for the Denver flight. The employee replied; Oh, we cancelled that flight the other day. Didn't you get the notice? Of course I cannot communicate in this family friend forum the fury that exploded from this group. At that point we were advised ..... no, Frontier will not help you find another carrier, no, we aren't giving you a credit to take to the other flight, and oh by the way, the next flight to Denver leaves in 15 mins. Understanding that our fate was in our hands, no one had time to procrastinate and argue about something this person could not fix. Fortunately the other Denver hub carrier, United, had space on a flight for all of us to take. We left Atlanta a little later than expected, but we all got home and that is the last time I've flown on Frontier. If I want to get stuck somewhere, I'll drive between Santa Fe and Albuquerque with a 1/4 tank of gas. I don't expect to pay money in advance and then get left to figure it out on my own, because the carrier just decided to drop my ride back home with out appropriately confirming that I have a flight. NO FRONTIER FOR ME.... EVER
I flew Frontier before and it's not a bad experience at all. However, those seats are extremely firm, surprisingly they are actually comfortable.
I've only flown frontier twice, but didn't have a problem either time. I'm always very careful to follow the bag rules, but I've never seen them checking bag sizes 🤷🏼♀️ people can't really complain about being charged for a bag when you don't follow the rules that they clearly post online...

It also depends on the airport. I had no issues with the Frontier agents in Charlotte. However, the ones in Orlando were awful. They wanted me to pay $100 for 2 pounds. Me and my guest was over by 16 pounds. We got our checked bag down to 42 pounds, and she was still tripping. We then got it to 39 pounds, and she started tripping about my personal bag now being too big. We went back and forth, and she wouldn't allow anyone else to assist us. I refused to go back to her, and management had to be called. I told them she was harassing us. The manager checked all our bags himself and told us we were free to go. We get to the gate, and there is a 35-minute delay.....I asked for $100 dollars per their strict rules.....I didn't get anything. Lol

I'm amazed that you had a great flight out of 4 of my flights 3 were canceled, and the other was 2 hrs delayed.
I'm elite (earned) with Frontier and never had a issue with them or hassled. People trying to sneak on big bags for $19 flights do get checked on and caught. I've been late to the gate and stepped around them getting it so it does happen. And some FA aren't nice but it's rare. Stretch seating is the only way to go for anything over 2-3 hrs. I fly with Frontier very often. I love the non stop that they usually have. But I have experienced a couple times we’re it wasn’t so great but that was do to delays. Other than that that’s pretty much it. They get me to where I’m going. So it’s a win win for me!

I fly Frontier all the time. Have no worries. Make sure your bag fits and is 40 lbs or under for the free personal bag. Bring snacks and download some movies, music or podcasts on your phone beforehand. I hate flying and have never had a flight where I feared for my life like I have on other airlines which cost more. I have had some delays, two to be exact, when I traveled on December 23rd...there was a super storm and holiday travel. The delay was for two hours. Other airlines cancelled all their flights for days. The other time was when there was a mechanical problem with the plane and the pilot refused to fly it even after it had been "repaired" and we had to wait for a new plane to be brought over for our flight. I appreciate the pilot not being willing to fly a plane which had been "fixed" on the tarmac and no one on this flight complained at all. Total delay for this was an hour and a half.

Wow I haven’t taken either Spirit or Frontier because of the reviews, but I suppose as long as you know what to expect it’s not that bad, especially for shorter flights. Thanks for making this video & I hope y’all had a great time in Guatemala. I want to go there for the Bitcoin Lake. It’s my 3rd stop after El Salvador Bitcoin Beach, the Philippines Bitcoin Island. I could not imagine! I am never going to fly this airline. We are going from Charleston SC to Denver CO for Christmas and our flight for 2 was 900 or so. We use southwest so of course it includes bags. You don’t have to pay to sit in the emergency rows (my husband likes to sit there too). We get snacks and a drink. You can pay for wifi but we don’t, I just use the tv shoes or movies and you can I believe use I message on southwest too for free.
I’ll pay the extra 300$ for that which probably makes up for everything you pay on frontier. Especially the bags. I usually bring 2 checked and a carry on and personal item.
Oh I’m estimating the same price because our flight is 3-4 hours and there’s is the same. Ours is also nonstop.
I flew with them from Houston too Orlando .. 2 years ago.. cheapest round trip ticket I ever purchased 😊

I have heard that Frontier Airlines gate staff get a commission on gate checked bags.
Hi. I am very happy to hear that your flight on Frontier to Guatemala was great, but I must let you know that my experience with Frontier was incredibly terrible. My flight was one month ago from Las Vegas to New Orleans and I was charged $179 for one checked bag one way. I used the chat, and was told that it would be $100 total, but when I got to the airport I had to pay an additional $79. Also we discovered that my bag was badly damaged when we landed in New Orleans. We sent pictures and the necessary docs to get a new replacement bag, but we still have not received anything after spending hours on the Frontier chat with reps. For bag was $250 in price and I am hoping that they give us a replacement bag soon that costs at least the $250. We also were lied to several times.
Would you be able to link the travel bag that is personal item approved? My husband and I are also traveling with frontier for the first time this summer for our anniversary to Jamaica and I just want to make sure I’m prepared. We have been extremely nervous as well, but it was the only one way flight like you said, and it’s for 3 hrs.

My cousin flew Frontier to Mexico. When they went to the airport to go home Frontier had cancelled the flights permanently.
My grand daughter & husband were going from Denver to Detroit. They cancelled the flight. They weren't sure to get them on the next day, so they had to fly Delta. I only fly Delta comfort and American premiere. I no longer do main or basic. Delta is the best for domestic flights.

Don't have a problem with them. I dontbeven buy my seat. I usually get window or middle which is fine with me. I have the flight pass which works out great for me. I'm a big girl but its a comfy fit. I download what I want to watch, read and listen to before I get there. I do personal bag and carry on and I buy those when I am checking in to save myself some cash . I am always early cause they will leave your ass if they board fast and early. Just prepare. Most time they ask for volunteers for exit row so save your money.
Frontier is great for nonstop routes and short flight.
Those upgraded Exit Row and Upgraded seats in the first 3 rows DO RECLINE!!! The recline button is under the seat cushion on the left hand side (versus the armrest like most airlines). That plus the leg room makes then worth the upgrade. My biggest gripe with Frontier is the lack of Internet and power outlets. If they fix that, they'll be just as good as Spirit! lol. However, if you've flown Ryan Air or Easy Jet in Europe ... Frontier will be familiar and slight upgrade. It a basic airline - think Nissan Versa or Ford Focus - and the prices reflect that.

I was a flight attendant for them, loved flying places for free but got tired of the housing drama…that aside the company isn’t a bad one to wrk for it’s certainly not the worst to wrk for…and people be extra with they frontier stories…spirit stories I believe. I don't mind Frontier. I've only flown from Philly to Dallas. I don't think I can do more than the 3.5 hours. My only issue is the flights never leave on time so don't have nothing planned that's time sensitive.

I would try it. Too bad southwest makes so many stops plus too early flights or late arrivals. I’ve flown southwest for years but recently had no more direct flights. Maybe I’ll try frontier next year when I go to Florida. Non stop is better plus it’s cheaper then Southwest Airlines

Although one has to put up with rude behavior from the staff, Frontier Airlines has never lost a paying customer. If you go to your seat and be quiet and don’t bother them, it will be ok.🌺🌺
