- We can definitely laugh at this now that we've gotten through it but when we were in it....WHEW!!! This was not a great way to end our trip to Guatemala but we were thankful that it happened on the last day. This will not stop up from wanting to return to Guatemala...this can happen ANYWHERE whether you're in your hometown or abroad. Enjoy and thanks for watching!

I frequent Guatemala 🇬🇹, we have a home and family there. I didn’t see you eat ANY Guatemalan food in any of your videos. I’m pretty sure you got sick from the water too… maybe not just that nasty Mexican food.
@nonamezplz4873 what does that have to do with the fact that we got food poisoning there? What if I told you that you didn’t see every meal we ate while in Guatemala 😱 You’re not going to tell us about our own experience. We got food poisoning from this meal period, not from any water.
Thanks for sharing. It was good to hear your version as they were very entertaining even though I know it was horrible during. Glad you all have gotten over it and are able to make light of it. Kyra’s trying to be lady like (even after Aaron has told her) was heelaireeus!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Who still wants to hear Aaron’s version of Kyra’s experience? 🙋🏽♀️Also, always make sure when there is a warning about the water to be sure you even brush your teeth with bottled water. When Aaron said “Mud Butt” I stopped the video and laughed for 10mins. In tears 😂😂😂. they mixed something different in those nachos. I’m just coming off of food poisoning so this video was my same timeline as well.
This video wasn’t about food poisoning, this video was about a marriage that will last for all time 😂 The laughter and the love. I so enjoyed this video for a reason I wasn’t expecting. I had this happen and my husband and I first trip away together after we just met. It was one of the sickest I’ve ever been. And the way he took care of me…. Ohhhhh I knew he was gonna be my husband ❤

Sounds like you may have contracted Noro. Symptoms usually show up 24 hrs after contact. Many people blame symptoms on food poisoning from the last place they ate, when the virus is actually contracted earlier.
Man I feel bad that yall had to go through that but boy am I in tears listening to the story. "You can't trust a fart" 🤣🤣🤣

My wife and I know exactly what y'all went through! We went to the Tournament of Kings show at the Excalibur in Las Vegas. They served dinner during the show because it was included in the price. We got back to our condo, and two hours later, stuff was coming out of both ends. It was bad, very bad! Smh

You guys crack me up. 😂 I live in Guatemala and I've never been sick like that here. I've had a few small stomach problems with my stomach hurting a bit and having a little diarrhea but never anything like this. I don't know how I've gotten so lucky after almost 3 years of living here. 😂

Oh my gosh! This is hilarious! I'm so sorry you had that experience here in Guatemala. My husband and I moved to Antigua 3 years ago and hope that you did enjoy your trip to this beautiful country. We do eat at Ta'Cool here and there but stick with the tacos and gringas (quesadillas)! Come back and eat at Hector's, Central Park Pizzeria and Pappy is BBQ. They're all fantastic!

I one million percent understand! I got food poisoning after eating at a Gatlinburg,TN restaurant. To this day, I refuse to eat mushrooms at restaurants. That burger took me out for a week and a half. At least you all made it to the hotel. I had to be taken behind a dumpster. I couldn't hold it! 😅😂

Omg! I had similar experience in St Lucia heading to Trinidad. Stopped at a roadside cafe and had something to eat while heading to the airport. As i checked in my bag i had to check my mud butt out at the airport. As i burst through the toilet door, the cleaning person was mopping the floor. I just said 'sorry' and walked on the wet floor cuz i needed to GO!
I share a Google account with my son so sometimes videos from folks I subscribe to get missed. So I am just now seeing this. I'm glad you all made it through that. But let me tell you I am in pain from laughing so hard. 😅😅
I am wondering though if you perhaps had a stomach virus though from the description of the symptoms and how your symptoms started at different times. At any rate thank God for healing and being able to laugh about it.

Hilarious! “Can’t trust a fart!” The only time I got food poisoning was in Amsterdam. It was from mussels. I started feeling sick the next morning, and I was on my way to the train station to visit another city. My stomach told me to go back to the hotel. I told the front desk that I was sick, since I was traveling on my own. I think I was so upset I was about to throw up, I fainted! 😱 Front desk person, found me on the floor. 🤦🏾♀️1 more day of misery. Not fun!

The same thing happened to me in Mexico. I had 2 days left in Mexico and everything that I ate was coming out. The last thing I ate was pizza, fries, a salad, and a chocolate cheesecake from room service. I was scared to eat anything else. Even had to use the bathroom in the airport as my flight was boarding. I got on the plane, wrapped up in my blanket, and went to sleep. Made it back to Atlanta Airport and had to rush to the restroom again. I felt fine 3 days later.

Visited Antigua, Guatemala in 1992. Was scheduled to stay the entire summer but left after 2 months because I got sick. Thought it was food poisoning, but turns out I had parasites. Fever and everything else for days. You could actually see the parasites (TMI) 😮 Loved the destination. I'll go back again.
