    What are your thoughts on Frontier Airlines?

      Frontier is simply crap.

      I'll be flying them for the first time next week. I didn't really research them I'm advance so I'm a bit nervous. I'm literally flying in one night and returning the next night so homely it all goes off without a hitch. Most of the reviews I've seen have not been good. I paid almost $400 for the most basic seat and experience so not at all cheap.

      Never had a problem. Fly all the time on them. They get you from point a to b. If you expect that, you'll be fine. Flight attendants are great.

    I love Frontier. I can fly to ATL or MCO for as cheap as $38. If you go into it knowing what you’re getting, you’ll be just fine. I don’t need IFE, I can read a book. I don’t need food, I can eat beforehand. I don’t need luggage, I’m just flying for a day to see family or have lunch with a friend. The people who complain are delusional. You bought a cheap-ass ticket, what did you expect?! For a quick hop, they’re clutch.

      Exactly, when you just look at it as transportation rather than an experience, it’s great!

      Few people can travel without any luggage. And most fat Americans don’t fit into those tiny seats without spilling over into their neighbor’s seat. No thanks, I’ll take a road trip.

    We love Frontier Airlines. For several years we've flown our family of 5 to Cancún every February. We usually get there for half the cost of the big airlines, including our luggage fees. The savings has enabled us to have more cash for fun once at our destination. Thank you Frontier! Great value!

    Frontier used to have reliability problems. Why it got such a bad reputation. When Barry L. Biffle became CEO in 2016 he worked on improving operational, financial, and customer service performance. Biffle has played a key role in building Frontier into a successful ultra-low-cost carrier. Before joining Frontier, he focused on pioneering the ultra-low-cost carrier (ULCC) model’s development in North and South America. Biffle previously served as the CEO of VivaColombia, the first ULCC in South America, and as the executive vice president of Spirit Airlines, where he contributed to the company’s financial turnaround and development of it as well. In all, it is a capable low budget airline now and is profitable which it was not before he led the company.

      LOL not true, they have lost close to $55 million in the last 6 months and are ranked as the worst airline in the country

    • @Buc_Stops_Here
      @Buc_Stops_Here 6 месяцев назад

      @@kjjones8627 That is also true. After they turned it around a few years ago it has all unraveled with stupid decisions undoing all the good work done about 5 years ago when they joined in 2016. If you look at how they did back in 2017 what i wrote is true. However the last couple of years have not been kind.

    I just recently flew with them. Left 10 minutes early due to the flight not being more than 80% full. Arrived 45 minutes early. Sat near the front. Seat was hard to sit in. Tray table was very small and no leg room. On the flight back home. Seat was just behind the wing. More leg room. Bigger tray table. Softer seat.

    Another great video Dom. The amount of Spirit and Southwest aircraft at Las Vegas says a lot about where the market there guess! I hadn't realised just how picturesque Oregon was and Frontier seemed to be a lot better than the general perception of them. It was a win-win really!

    A lot of people don’t understand that Frontier gets the bare minimum package wise for their aircraft’s from Airbus because their biggest goal is to be “the worlds greenest airline”. They have 42% better fuel efficiency than the next closest airline due to the way they handle baggage, seats, and accessories like armrests. You get what you pay for. If you want a cheap flight, don’t expect luxury. That’s probably the biggest reason people complain about Frontier.

    Just had an experience this morning I missed my flight because of luggage line was in line for over a hour and missed my flight I just rebooked for tomorrow with an additional charge horrible experience…. I flew spirit 2 times, had not had issues . And flying frontier tomorrow to vegas myself, I liked the sustainability and price of flight. But American airlines was a mess when I flew them, lost luggage, missed connection,they broke my checked bag stuff, miscommunication nothing really done to fix anything. So when I flew spirit the first time people were like good luck they are the worst, I am just thinking...worse than my AA endeavor? oh great... Seems like people want cheap and lux. I don't need lux, I need a flight. If I am fling with lots of stuff maybe I will do a main airline but when I take a carry on at most who needs the big airlines for a 3-4 hour flight. So I don't get how these airlines are rated, some love frontier some hate. It makes picking a new airline hard to choose.

    I’ve never been through the Portland airport. I’ve got to say that it’s the ugliest airport I’ve ever seen, sorry. And I apologize for the negativity, but Frontier really does look terrible to me. But to be fair, Southwest and Spirit are both awful too.😅 United, Delta, and American are only marginally better. I guess it’s because of my age; I remember flying back in the 1980s. Domestic flights nowadays are pretty much like taking a Greyhound in the sky.😊

    As the A321 is the largest aircraft they have what was the nonsense about the smaller aircraft? Just plain overbooking it would seem to me.

      @WorldWide_Dom  Год назад +2

      I did look at this on the morning before my flight and they have 2 different A321 seating configurations, one has 7 less seats so i think that may have been the reason, but who knows it may as you say be just plain overbooking.
