I cannot tell you how much I have enjoyed this video and the creative minds of you young men.....Keep up the great work!!! You have given this ol man insperation.
Still have not edited it. We had this oven build filmed for over a year, so we finished this first. Project Ferrari (see our Instagram) also takes time, but we try our best to get the videos out.
Oohhhh .... the good old Ausdehnungsgefäß from your heating... 🤭 What I also like is the 'oldschool' Elektrodenhandschweißen... 😄. Guys ! Well done the oven. Nice craftsmanship 👍. Some other spend thousands of €...or...$... or...£ ...to realise a Pizza-Oven-Project. You grabbed in the scrap-box and do it as a budged project. Nice ! 👍
Excellent work done with minimal cost. Just move the chimney to the front of the unit . Will improve the circulation of heat and increase the temp of the oven. Makes for quicker cook time of the pizza. Be interesting to know what the temp and cook times before and after chimney relocation is done should you do so.
Thank you for your comment ;) We are aware of the issue. Some people pointed it out in the comments before. Moving the chimney will mess up the oven, I'm afraid. But we thought about adding in a heat guiding plate. It would go above the pizza and all the way to the back wall, leaving a gap up front where the doors are. This should bring the same effect
Really nice project, only one mistake you made, the chimney should be on the front side, to draw the flame on the ceiling of the oven. How you made it, all the flames from below go directly out on the chimney and the heat only comes from the botton not from the top also.
Really nice skills, but the chimney position is a construction fail. You lose all the heat. Chimney must placed at the front, so the heat can circulate.
We left the shots of the welding out, because they didn't quite seem to fit anywhere thematically. It's basically just a straight strip of metal that goes around the opening. Later in the video you can see the heat-cordage being installed in the created slot
All The Heat is gone to waste through the exhaust chimney. You should position the chimney at the front, allowing the fire to travel through the ovens ceiling which in turn heats the stone at the same time. Fire directly under the stone will potentially burn the bottom of the pizza. So..Fire at the back, through and under ovens ceiling and out the mouth..otherwise, BEAUTIFUL BUILD!! Thanks for the interesting content!!
Thank you for your tips, they fit to the experiences we made so far. We elevated the pizza off the stone with some rails so the bottom wouldn't burn. After that it worked out just fine as a sidekick at a BBQ or while camping. We have some more content of the oven in action on our Instagram @justrandompfusch *hint*hint* ;)
Congratulations! How much time is need to heat up the stove? How much time does it remain hot? How much time does the pizza needs to be cooked like you showed in the video?
It needs about half an hour to heat up, keeps the heat around an hour and it takes about 10 minutes to bake a pizza. But it's still really inefficient the way it is built, because the heat escapes from the fire chamber right out the chimney. We will add a sheet of metal right below the chimney to add some flow resistance and hopefully increase overall performance
I think the whole build is very cool. The videography complements the whole thing. The fenders are great.Throw a party in the woods, tell your friends your getting the pizza delivered, then your trusty bro shows up w that!Ha!ha! great!
Great project guys, well executed, it's spooky as i was just thinking i have not seen a video from you in a while and wondered how you were doing, even an update video occasionally would be good. D
Thank you sir! We have videos already filmed and are always working on new projects, see also our Instagram. But editing takes a lot of time and we both are busy in uni or job training unfortunately
TO MAKE NEAPOLITAN PIZZA YOUR OVEN NEEDS TO REACH TEMPS OF AT LEAST 800 degrees. Your temp gauge doesn't go that high. I would hope that after going to all that trouble it would be able to reach those temps.
This is a pizza oven for short camping trips or messing around in the back yard. We're not building a forge lol. It's way too less insulated to reach and keep such temperatures
Bello il progetto, ma noi Italiani abbiamo bisogno di temperature oltre i 350ºC per fare le pizze “Veraci Napoletane” (Neapolitan Style): questo forno riesce a raggiungere tali temperature? ...Complimenti ancora! 👏🏻
Thanks, unfortunately not. The highest we could get was 270°C. Works just well for camping trips and in the back yard. So far we made frozen pizza, self-made pizza, baguettes and even croquettes and grilled camembert.

Thanks for the kind words Keith!
You guys are amazing and you can cook too! Wow!
Maravilloso!! Me dejan sin palabras!! Los felicito, más viniendo de gente joven, que maestros!!! Saludos desde Argentina

@@JustRandomPfusch That heat plate sounds like a good alternative.
Dope.
Questions!
1) why make a dual level pizza oven? You could've just gone with the oven where you put the wood in the back.

Somebody already mentioned the chimney thing, it's a shame. Unfortunately we can't change it now

Nice idea of oven. cool.
Beautiful job!
There is a flanged ring tacked around the open end of the tank. Don't see it being attached or what it looked like before it was attached.
We left the shots of the welding out, because they didn't quite seem to fit anywhere thematically.
It's basically just a straight strip of metal that goes around the opening.

@@JustRandomPfusch OK Thanks. I guess I need new glasses, I thought I saw a flange but it was just a ring. It is hell to get old.
You're welcome sir ;)
4:35 This is how to make a pizza oven when health and safety is not the primary concern 😂
Well, gotta live up to the name somehow 😂
Great job 💪👏😀

What is maximum temperature in the oven ? Thanks
Man wish i had one good job bro 👍👍
Thanks!
Well done!
Awesome!
Can’t wait to see the next little cabin video.
Que buen trabajo!!! Felicitaciones!! Desde Argentina un saludo!
¡Gracias amigo!
Very good i love it!
How many gallon is the tank you started with?
Looks like 20 gallon. Too small unless you’re making 10 pies.
Hi.. what stoneware are u using on video.. 4.27.. tks
Its an old bosch angle grinder with some stone cutting disc we had in the workshop, there's no brand visible anymore
wow, geile Idee... solltest Erfinder werden :))
Danke🙌🏼
You don’t make the cabin vids anymore? Ps very cool project! ✌🏻🇨🇦
Yes, we do. Next videos are going to be about bushcraft.

what's your highest temps? cause real pizza ovens goto 800+.. but I like the idea.. I suppose with some redesign.. you can get higher temps.
800+ ? Farenheit ? Their temp gaige is in celsius.
I run 550 for my stone temperature. The king of RUclips pizza VITO likes 700
V baffle on bottom might get rid of the burning 🥵 plus a small fan for draft! Maybe! Maybe not ⭐️👍👍👍
Very nice
I want this right now.

Very nice, just one thing! It's too small.
Not to small
Cooks a pizza at a time
Great job on the build
Great job! Next time though, try to hold the camera a bit further away so we can see better.
That's a cool pizza oven too but does it really need tractor tires lol
Yes of course, they clearly are essential to its functionality!
And they look kinda cool😅
@@JustRandomPfusch Okay, I'll give you that they do look cool. Take care. ;)
Ciertamente está muy bueno pero es una lástima que no llegue al menos a 300 grados. Vale igual x el uso de leña y la posibilidad de trasladarlo.
Nice one from Philippines

And don't forget it is degree Celsius not farenheit
Can we bake a cake in it ?
Nice!
hola, muy bueno ! che! ....me decís el diámetro y profundidad ?
Thanks! The oven measures about 50cm in diameter and 40cm in depth
@@JustRandomPfusch La chimenea debe estar colocada al frente para que solo se escape el humo y no las llamas, ¡todo lo demás es perfecto!
@@JustRandomPfusch The chimney should be placed in front so that only the smoke comes out and not the flames, everything else is perfect!
