  • If you have redness due to rubbing and irritation from your CPAP mask, there are a few solutions for you.
First you can try a CPAP liner, both a cushion liner and a strap fleece liner. There are many available but the ones from Pad A Cheek are a great option. You can also use a CPAP moisturizer to help calm the skin.
The next step is to make sure you are washing your mask. Skin particles and other debris will cause bacteria to grow in your mask. If you do not wash and replace your mask regularly, it will cause redness on the skin.
At last, change your mask! There are many new minimal CPAP masks to choose from. Try to find one that reduces the amount of contact points on the skin. If you use full face mask, consider switching to a nasal CPAP mask instead.
