Joe Flacco's Super Bowl run is still insane. He actually turned into Joe Montana for 4 games and got paid a shit ton of money before becoming a journeyman. He had a 117 passer rating, 11 touchdowns, 0 picks, and 1140 yards in 4 GAMES!
Even as a Pats fan even I’ll admit they had an awesome postseason that year. Not the best regular season team and had some older vets but believed in each other and won out in the end. Poetic ending of the career of the greatest linebacker of my childhood.
@@MadKingLordeus If we had Justin Tucker in 2011 (or if Lee Evans added gorilla glue to his gloves), we’d have back-to-back Super Bowls.. That was probably the toughest loss in Ravens history - although it did make 2012 that much sweeter.

I'll never forget that Raven-Broncos playoff game. What the Hell was the safety doing with under a minute to go? Nowhere near as bad as the Minneapolis Miracle but still pretty embarrassing for a pro football player

Great video man. Was in Mexico during the Ravens Broncos playoff game. Ravens fans on one side, Broncos fans on the other side (their tv was delayed like 7 seconds, not sure why). When the throw to Jacoby happened me and my dad flipped out and it was the funniest thing hearing them all go “wtf” before they actually watched it happen. Will never forget that moment

This was the first year that I truly followed football outside of the Super Bowl. Honestly the amazingness of the season probably was what got me hooked.
The most magical moment for me in the super bowl was the outage it gave me time to give my three year old a bath and feed him he was knocked out by the start of the 4th .............. Uninterrupted celebration
Faaantastic! Simply fantastic! Even though you made me relive the 4th most heartbreaking defeat in Denver Broncos history (and probably the most unexpected one ever), this video still gets an A++.
That whole season was just bonkers for the Ravens. Suggs coming back from the "non-basketball" Achilles tear and the 4th and 29 in San Diego were both crucial as well. We lost four of five to end the season. I don't think a team has backed into the playoffs that hard before. To cap off that playoff run, I was watching the Superbowl at my house in Berkeley with a living room FULL of Niner fans. What was more important to that comeback than the power going out was Haloti Ngata getting hurt after the power came back on. I've never been that stressed out watching the Ravens. Made the win all the sweeter....
I'm glad you uploaded video anyway. More solid content. Very good job, I'm glad you stuck to the facts- 1. Power went out in the previous year when Steelers were playing the Niners at home. That's where the Superbowl producers and front office got the idea from (IMO) 2. I really don't think the NFL is rigged (too much money, too many moving parts). On the flip side, certain areas can be manipulated like boxing hype. In this case it's the Harbaugh brothers. John clearly was a better coach & had a better team than Jim did. 3. "Pittsburgh. When he said “stop me if you’ve heard this before” I just put my head in my hands, being from Atlanta is great in so many ways and in the Matt Ryan era we have been competitive most seasons (with the exception of the last few) and the journeys are always so fun but when we get to the cliff top.... as an Atlanta fan there is always a painful and stupid trip and fall back down. I don’t think there is a player who is more deserving of finally getting a ring than Ryan, I’ll be cheering on Indy for that reason all the while watching Mariota and Ridder try and reassemble a competent Falcons side through the gaps in my fingers

Everyone talks about Tucker's field goal going over the uprights, when they forget that Harbaugh was called for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty earlier in the game when we was trying to call timeout. Thus leading to Ravens fans chanting BS for 5 straight minutes.

As a 49ers fan my inner Harbaugh came out during that Jacob B kick return, screaming at the TV "HOLD!! HE'S HOLDING!!!!" ... and I won't get into my lack of colorful words at the end of that game either... needless to say if the 49ers are ever in the SB again I do not go to my cousin's traditional Super Bowl party... and against the Chiefs it was good that I didn't :)
i thought it'd be mentioned that art modell had died that year, which made the ravens wining the super bowl piss off cleveland that much more since baltimore had those "art" patches on
I was about 10 at the time, but as a Pats fan I remember Steven Ridley. He had a huge fumbling problem for us, but as a kid in the AFCCG I couldn't even fault him on that fumble. He was basically knocked out cold. But regardless Belichick sent him into the shadow realm, for being a big reason we lost that game.
That Seahawks run really paved the way for their success. I still remember that Beast Mode TD Run. Russ actually ran ahead of him to deliver a block for the score 💀. Quite a QB The Broncos have 👀. You forgot to mention Pete Carroll's attempt at icing Bryant 😅. He misses and a time out was called. Bryant goes on to score on his second try 💀.
