Hey, great video, thanks! When printing envelopes on the HP9025 do the envelopes come out the back or front of the machine. Also, how do you print checks? Can you leave paper in the bottom tray all the time and use the top tray just for checks stock and envelopes?

Great printer only problem I have found is the scan to email when using the document feeder (several double sided sheets) every other page is slightly screwed on the scanned copy which makes the professional look poor, is there a calibration mode to sort this out?

First and most likely a small piece of ripped paper or staple is in the feed wheels. Open it up and vaccum all debris out. Next on the touch screen run the ink smudge cleaner see if that helps. If not look for a wheel that is stuck or anything you can find that can be causing improper feed of aliment if not call for warranty repair 😇 hope this helps 👍

Is sublimation printing or ink available for this I read reviews where this is sublimated printer but idk how to insert ink in printer for me to be able to do sublimation screen printing

But Honestly I don't think that is the 9025 strong suit. What I recommend that you do is call the hp ink subscription service and let them directly help you. they should be able to as that's their specialty 😉
I really enjoyed your video , very informative and interesting. But this should be very interesting for me with setting this up, I'm still finding out thing's with my phone that I never knew that it could do! When I was young, we didn't have calculators and only had black and white Tv's with three channels and a wall mounted phone . I shouldn't be allowed around electronics! 😳

Thanks for the info in the video. I've been trying to decide between the 9015 and 9025 to see if the 9025 is worth the extra $100. Does it pull the paper in and out to print on both sides? Does it have to wait for one side to dry before printing the other side? Thank you so much!

Thank you for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support 😇 🙏 pull the draw out place your index cards and also move the plastic holders into tight positions around the size index cards. Next on the touchscreen screen set the cards and sizes for the drawer and set that drawer as the one to use and save settings. Make sure plain paper is in your other drawer. Now try if it. Of for whatever reason it still won't. Then try settings on the app and or computer in the same fashion. lastly before printing if nothing works you can try this workaround but you shouldn't need to...pull the other drawer out. Then hit print it will warn you drawer is empty and out. Then hit ok and print anyway.
Does the 9125e printer print 4x6 pictures? Does it have a photo tray for 4x6 photos?

Setup is relatively easy and the same but the 9018 will be missing some of the features. The hp website lets you do a side by side spec comparison if you need specifics 😇 hope this helps😉

I'm looking for a replacement for my HP Photosmart C7280. The black ink has stopped working and I haven't been able to get it working again. After looking at more than a dozen HP AIO devices I now quite fancy the OfficeJet Pro 9025. Especially now after visiting your web page. Colour photos made on the C7280 have been immaculate and barely distinguishable from the old Chemist shop photos. It could scan to 4800 dpi too. So I am wondering if I am going to miss the Light Cyan and Light Magenta extra colours, plus the scanner that went to 4800 dpi too. I think I won't miss the numerous card reader slots so much because the 9025 still has the USB port for my card reader.
On the other hand scanning both sides at once will be a positive boon.

But I don't miss it at all. it was actually to me a nightmare putting all those individual color and and yet somehow this printer does such a better job and looks way more vivid and has more features and prints faster. But always A wise choice to buy at a place that has a good return policy just in case. but my honest opinion is try it out you'll like it😊😉
Only subscribed because you seem to really read through the comments and answer questions. On a printer review (commercial) I miss showing the actual printing results though. When scanning with this device and printing directly from the scan in one go, you for example seem to get a way less saturated print than the original shows. Wish you would have done stuff like that.

I appreciate your support very much 🙏 I'm not experiencing washed out or less saturated printing with the app scan. As far as mobile device I use Samsung note20 ultra and s20ultra mostly I'm not sure if the camera on the phone makes any difference but it might. A Few tips that might help make sure to get the scan photo as close as you can with your phone camera that the lens is not smudged and that your black ink is full. Make sure the app and printer software is updated. If take the back off there could be a small piece of ripped paper causing a jam. They hide in the trickest of places lol. But truly if there is nothing likely the gear is jammed or stripped causing this problem and if thats the case its pretty much s useless printer unfortunately 😕
I noticed you scanned by placing the page on the glass. However, you can scan a larger document with the feeder, correct?

You can also connect through wifi direct using the ip address it gives you on the touch screen. To connect to Bluetooth use the touch screen pull down from the top turn Bluetooth on then search from your mobile device Bluetooth menu and sync and connect an lastly you can always hardwire the printer to your pc and print that way. The hp app is very useful also and can show you how to do

Jb TechFanatic Good morning. Thx for the prompt reply. I did attach the phone line and was able to fax from the printer. So today I will try again today, but need a little more info. I have the HP Smart App on my iPad and on my computer I have HP Scan. On my iPad it shows ink supply at the top and colored boxes below with different options. I looked at mobile fax & smart tasks, but that didn’t seem helpful.. I have a MacBook Pro and that is what I’d like to fax from. On my computer....where should I go to set up fax line? Thank again! You do a great job explaining everything. What Google speaker did you get? Does it have good sound for music?
You can set up Smart fax using the app for this meant that you were just take a photo with your phone and fax it that way it uses the internet might cost money. To set up normal fax plug in your phone line to the proper plugs on the back and into your wall next go to the touch screen on the fax machine or printer touch fax then settings next lower fax speed so that none of the data transmission is missed then setup fax rings next shut off error connection mode and set auto answer once you go through each category it should be good to go another method is to start the setup process over on any computer to do this you would have to delete it from your computer go to the edge HP website type in your model number and go to the software download tools when you download the new software it's going to prompt you to set up fax machine at very start this will definitely be the longer way of doing things best case scenario is to just go ahead and use the touch screen on the printer. As far as Google products be honest with you I have one of each one made because I test them if I was to recommend the regular Google speaker sounds great you definitely want to get the full size not that many if you're going for sound if you want ice cream the JBL version is the best sounding screen version as well as the Lenovo. Hi I bought this printer but i can't get the fax machine to work I can send a fax but can't receive one. I use comcast and have a separate phone line for the fax and I am not sure I have it set up right. I have xfinity 1 and the machine is plugged into the router and than the router plugged into the wall jack.
I called xfinity but they were not helpful...can you help me?

Did you input your phone number used for incoming fax? To fully reset up fax download the printer software on your pc. When it's connecting to your printer it will lead you through a fax process with a phone number. Also did you reboot your modem after plugged into your fax? I'm glad to help I just need to know what you have done in the settings and setup😊.

Replacing HP L7780 Ethernet connected to a router set up by my son. Is wireless as you show a different setup process than Ethernet and if so is one or the other better? I do recommend that you plug your ethernet cable into the back of your modem and into the back of your printer reset the modem and then turn on the printer and go through the setup process it should be a simple process and you can use the touchscreen on the printer to set it up you can reach out anytime you need any help it should be a fairly painless experience😊💯

As long as your ethernet is plugged into your printer and router before powering on the printer the order of the rest won't matter so run ethernet then restart modem then power on printer 😇
the duplex unit only supports letter and executive paper. It's a big throwback compared to the previous model

I recently bought 9025e and would like to know if there a way to scan to PDF from the display? I only see the jpg format (image). I used to own officejet pro 8025 where I was able to select scan pdf/jpg from the display screen. The 9025 seems to be missing scan to pdf from the display area.

Click the down arrow next to “Scan to:” and click “Save to file.” Click the down arrow next to “File type:” and click “PDF (*.Pdf).”Click the “Scan Document Setting” button and click the down arrow under “Resolution.” Click “150” to reduce the scan’s dots per inch setting - the lower the setting, the smaller the PDF file will be. @@JbTechFanatic I am familiar with the method you mention above. I did it for my previous printer and my current printer. It just that the older one had 2 ways of printing pdf as the newer one only has one for pdf.
Ok I know I have done it many times with 9025 not e variety. Ive gotten so use to just using the hp app for every thing I'm ill and not home at this time. I need to physically do it to remember. Jb please help. Does this printer let me scan a 2 sided document through the feeder and set it up to scan two sides directly through the printer screen or the HP smart app without having to change the scan settings on the computer? I find it useless for HP to create the HP smart app but not be able to change scan settings directly through there. I’ve tried the HP office jet pro premier and ph office jet pro 9015. Trying to find one that is capable of 2 sided scanning without having to log into computer to change settings.

But everything is also able to be dont right on the Printer itself. So its a simple as putting a stack of 10 papers that you would like copies of front and back into the feed and simply press two sided print on the touch screen you can also save your favorite Printing and scanning functions but everything that this printer can do can also be programmed right on the device😉 it's really is a fantastic device I use it for very heavy usage for my business.
Jb TechFanatic thank you! Can you do a video doing that. Is the HP smart app capable of changing the setting to 2 sided also? Sorry just spent 3 hours today trying to figure this out with the other jet pros. Or trying to remotely change the 2sided scan settings through up address on phone.
Unfortunately I will not be able to do another video but don't worry I can help it's so so simple in this video I actually show you each app on the tablet. If you watch that portion of my video and might be helpful but easy all you do is in the settings menu on the app or computer click printer settings next you will be taken to the printer settings screen now it's so simple simply press copy once you press copy right below it it will pop up settings next press the settings icon you will now be in the menu where you can set any copy measurements you'd like as well as two sided copying and more printing. next you can hit print and it will stay there as long as you need it too and you can change it at a quick push of a button at any point after that it's literally that easy😉 you can reach out to me if you ever need any help😊

This thing is too clever, more to go wrong. Do I need to use the smart phone app if I set up using my USB cable? I just want to use it like my old HP printer

Great video. Works awesome except i can not get my fax to work. It starts sending then stops in the middle of a page. Sits for quite a while then comes up with "B808DA6C" and the lights start flashing. I have to power off to get it to reset and there are still pages in the feeds. help?

Phone line or internet also do you have paper and each of the compartments and have you open the back and the top and make sure that nothing is jammed including even the smallest piece of paper? Let me know we can try to troubleshoot this together if it gets where I need to be in front of my printer I might need some time as I'm not home I'm at the doctor😊

Phone line. Both paper trays have paper. Checked for jammed paper.
Ok is it connected to the internet and did you do the necessary software updates ?
Once you make sure all the updates are done what I want you to do is use the touchscreen on the printer itself go to fax setup click tools and run a fax test if that does not go through press the clear fax logs memory and then run the fax test again also go under preferences and turn on the scan and fax method to disable color fax see if that works

The first two months are always free with Instant Ink but you may be able to get more if there is a promotion going on.

A direct connection will usually transfer the information fast and perhaps start printing quicker. But the actual time it takes to print will not change. Keep in mind the length it takes to print a page can be adjusted by quickly settings and or how much detail the print has. But if you just needed to make copies as a example in black and white it prints very quickly. But the first print of the day especially in cold weather will take a bit more time and then get better.

I loved your video and the ending. I have 2 important questions. I use goodnotes all the time. I can’t figure out how to print in goodnotes using hp smart app. It does not bring up Goodnotes? Is there a way? I searched on internet with no answers. 2nd you say that we need to download the plug in. Where is the plug in that we download? Is it in the apple App Store? I use my ipad. When using golddnote you should be able to save as a doc to your phone. Then when using the app search device and choose the doc that way. Now just to print any thing from your devices you will just need your hp set as a printer. By downloading from the app store hp smart and hp print service. Open each app and go through the setup. Once completed go into your iPhone and make sure you are on the network of the printer. Now go into your iPhone settings find print settings and set the hp as the primary print. Top review as always jb iv got a few questions for you as your my tech man 😊 its totally of the subject. Iv just order a pc its called the stormforce prism Intel core 19-9900k it has ausus geforce Rtx 2080ti 11gb gddr6 the thing I'm worried about is I think that the asus 2080ti is the turbo edition and people have been saying they are not that good I really thinking about cancelling the order and not bother at all with the pc I don't want to get it and then it's no good say after a few months or a year don't no weather to just stick with the xbox one x Hope your well 😇
So first off i also have the intel i9 as well as the 2080ti and its a complete monster i run 2tb m.2 ssd and a 4tb standard hard drive and 64 gigs of ram. Here's the truth anytime you buy a pc new things come out quickly however you will love that computer and it should bring you years of power I would keep it the 2080 graphics card has definitely gotten better since the first generation that was getting the bad rap in fact they have completely dropped 1080 gtx line now only producing 2080 series. And there's not really much to worry about remember the great thing about a PC is if there's truly a new part that you want you simply order that part unplug and put the new one in you ready to rock I said keep it lol

It should be the best card. basically you can purchase right now you got to remember nothing will ever be perfect you can spend thousands and thousands of dollars and there will always be something better from chatting with you over time I feel like you will be more than happy with this system guys that achieve crazy frame rates consistently are very rare and they usually spend $10,000 or more lol run my computer for editing doing all kinds of crazy stuff it is never given me any problems and lastly obviously I'm not sure how much you spent total but that always plays into it if you spend $6,000 and your computer can't get you even close to where you want to be then you have a problem but if you spend like $2,500 and it's cranking you're all good make sure you have some sort of liquid cooling built into your PC if not buy one it's all about keeping everything cool.

i assume with a wifi printer; my phone must be nearby for printing and must be on same network; OK; pointless; I want to print remotely over internet but; a wifi printer to my router still won't work; Right ? I must cable it to my router ? Any other solutions ?
Wifi or hardwired ethernet will be the same. You can use this printer anywhere in the world no matter what method you choose. Hi. Great video. I bought this printer because it has two trays and I print a lot of loan packages that are mixed letter and legal. The problem I'm having is that it consistently does not print all of the legal pages. If there is more than one legal page in a row, it will only print the first one on legal and the next one on letter, when it should be legal. And it is consistent in doing this wrong. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this? I appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks.

That should gix the issue. Also a easy trick to make sure to stop it from trying to take paper is to leave the unwanted drawer pulled out during printing. Are you printing from the app? If so did you download the plug in? Or do you print from your computer? If so did you download the hp software?
In case I was not clear, I already had the sizes set up in the app and on the screen on the printer, so that suggestion won't help with my issue.
Yes you were clear about the sizes being set. but not drawers or programs being set and for what. The pc works off completely different software than the app. What I'm trying to do is get enough information to find out what settings are missed for your issues to arise. As a example if the same thing happens from the pc and the app than the settings on the printer are not syncing. Also there settings from the cloud excetera excetera Its not as simple as saying you made it clear that the sizes are set. Without physically looking for myself to try to help you now I need to know what is not set. Thats not easy to guess and what's happening is not normal and shouldn't.

I just bought this printer. When it runs out if paper and I reload it still won’t print. I have to run a test page first and then it will print. Also, in my settings I have a bunch of printing options that show a 🔒 icon on it.

Make sure the paper is in tight and you adjust the try properly it needs to touch the feed sensor. Also did you complete software updates and is it settings on the printer screen or app
Jb TechFanatic the lock 🔒 is showing in settings. The app options that you showed on your video don’t show up for me.
🤔 and you definitely have the same printer? Can you go to the software update screen on the printer and see if it lets you do one? I think you have those locks because the apps and software needs downloading and updating

Thank you so much for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support😇🙏 I'm so sorry to hear that you're having issues with your HP 902 5 what you need to make sure to do is open up the top scan feed be sure that there is nothing jammed inside the feed door. next click down the top until you hear it click next take the sheet of paper that you want to scan print side facing up and push it all the way in until you can't push the paper in anymore. be sure not to jam it in or bend it . now the trick is to make sure that there is nothing in the lift up Scanner. if there is it will default to that first once all of this is complete press the scan button either on the app or on the screen of the device let me know😊

Honestly... It's a outstanding product💯 This printer is going constantly. Its working hard yet still works like new. to be honest this is one of the first printers I've ever owned that I either didn't replace in the first year because it was garbage or it just broke in the first year this one seems to not just be great quality but it also produces great results💯

Its not one of the Assistant's that they advertised with it. But I have to believe that it will work because it does have apple Airprint and I believe that you can link your siri to the Airprint and use voice communication that way. I called Hp for you But they couldn't give me a clear answer. So. My simple answer I believe is yes but with limited functionality for now😊
