The main selling point is that it is a hub of productivity for small businesses. It's loaded with features and the HP smart app helps you streamline your administrative tasks.
The app makes setting up the printer very easy, and you can create customizable shortcuts to print, scan, share, and email.
You can also use your smartphone to create high-quality scans, and automatically smooth and crop pages into one document. This feature makes the HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 stand out from the competition because no other printer or scanner has similar smart app options.
These are the key factors to consider when buying a printer:
    1. Volume and variety of printing jobs that you have (printing in color, or black and white? What types and dimensions of paper will you be using?)
    2. Do you need functions like copying, scanning, and faxing?
    3. Is wireless printing a priority?
    4. What is your budget?
Here are the specific details of the OfficeJet Pro 9015:
It can print, scan, copy, and fax - all wirelessly. It offers automatic two-sided printing and has high enough resolution to print photos.
We purchased this printer and tested it out in our office in ways that normal small businesses would use a printer.
We found that it brings a high-tech approach to a vital office tool. It can scan directly to email, USB, or the cloud, and you can easily print wirelessly. We could send a job to the printer from anywhere in the city that had a wireless connection.
The app connectivity allows for advanced organizational collaboration and scanning from a phone camera. This is useful for team members who are working from the road (or remotely) who need to provide a printed deliverable remotely.
The machine is reliable, even if you only plan on using it wirelessly. The printer wasn't too heavy, and simple instructions made it easy to set up. The app allows you to create easy shortcuts, which are a real time saver. Scanning to email and sending documents to the cloud can be set as one-touch smart tasks to streamline and simplify the process.
Other consumers had reported they also had an easy time setting this printer up and using it wirelessly. If you lose internet connection, you can still print by connecting it to your laptop or computer with a cable.
The printer works best with HP and other Microsoft-based computers, but we were also able to set it up with a Macbook Pro and other types of computers.
This printer costs only $230, meaning despite high-end features, it is still only in the middle range of pricing for home and office printers.
So, is buying the HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 printer worth it?
Here are the pros: it is a capable, all-in-one printer suitable for individuals, small offices, and home offices. It is user friendly and easy to set up, and it has a great app and smart printing capabilities.
Here are the cons: there is only one paper input, which can be a challenge if you are frequently printing with different dimensions. The printing function is a bit loud.
The bottom line: The HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 is a competent printer that stands out for its smart capabilities and app connectivity. It is easy to print, copy, scan, and fax from any device.

Looks great. I put in my order for this model right before watching this video. I did my own research on Epson and HP using their websites; then going through their budget models. This one definitely seemed to offer the most features at this price range. The Premium Ink cartridges was a factor, but my family and I will only be using this for some light business, school work, and document organization. Therefore the original 6 month ink promo they are offering will probably last a year. As far as business prints, I intend to use this to print Wedding Anniversary invitations. Hopefully those come out as epic as the machine looks. Cheers.

I watched another review of the 9015 printer and it was looking good until the guy started talking about the waste ink cartridge or pad or whatever. It seems very weird and kind of a deal breaker. Am I missing something? I have never heard of this on other brands. What is this about?

Let us show duplex scanning. Have this printer 2 scanners? Because I don't see the upper one.

Just received a used printer that is barely used and hooked everything up along with installing new HP ink cartridges. My only unsolved issue that I am still having is the printing. The printer prints but the pages are coming out blank. I am still not sure what the cause is and wonder if anyone may be able to provide a suggestion.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER! It is cloud based so you can’t print unless you continuously have to sign in. If you hard line it, it disables the wireless/Bluetooth ability to print.
