You talking about dying is so real because I go through the same emotions 😭. I have an endoscopy scheduled for this week and this video made me feel better about it ❤️
So sorry that it they weren’t able to find anything! Something that’s helped me lately is just setting a timer when I eat (so that I’m not eating too fast) and chewing my food reallyy well.

I’m getting my 3rd endoscopy today. 3 biopsies, 2 dilations and 3 scans. It’s definitely way different than a wisdom tooth removal. I’m glad you handled all well. Drink TONS of water to help flush the remaining propofol. Good luck to you ❤

Im glad u r alive and everything went pretty well!
For me i know my POTS is linked with trauma, both my own and generational trauma. Im sure u already know this but trauma lives in the body and attacks the nervous system. Our stomachs are very affected by our nervous system. For me i know that my POTS is why i have acid reflux and my anxiety from my trauma is a big trigger for my physical health issues. It seems like maybe childhood trauma or especially having covid and having your life ruined and constantly worried about hurting yourself or dying has been traumatic for you. Im very sorry you're dealing with all this. So it would make sense that your acid reflux making your throat feel like its closing would send fight or flight signals to your brain, giving you anxiety, upsetting your stomach, and making your acid reflux worse. Its a terrible cycle.
When my acid reflux was at its worse so was my anxiety and so was my ear aches. It felt like i had an ear infection and the pain went down my neck. I had everything checked by specialists and it was my stupid acid reflux.
I stay away for acidic things as much as i can and take omeprozole when i need to which has helped. However the most lifechanging thing that i did that immediately helped my throat and ear aches and acid reflux was wim hoff breathing. U can find tutorials on youtube. Long story short it's a breathing technique that regulates the nervous system. It also stimulates the vagus nerve which helps with stomach health. If you haven't looked into the vagus nerve and the stomach and acid reflux I would highly recommend that. But I shit you not the first time that I did the Wim Hof breathing technique I had immediate relief. It may take some people a few tries to find relief. My only issue is getting myself to do it everyday and that's really hard for me. I hope this helps.

my physical therapist actually went over breathing exercises which, i believe, is what you’re talking about. but yes, i’m like always on edge bc of my symptoms lol so you might have a point there. my therapist and i were also just talking about trauma and how it affects health. i definitely think that’s could be the case here with my pots since i was constantly anxious growing up. maybe my nervous system had enough and covid was just the last straw
i’m sorry to hear about your traumatic past and it sucks that you were dealt that in life. i’m glad that it seems like you have a solid treatment plan for the reflux with the omeperezole and breathing exercises though. i’m going to try probiotics as well since poppy suggested those

I can’t believe this video popped up on my feed right after I had a doctor’s appointment about acid reflux. I’ve been dealing with mine for at least 6 months, and I related so much to everything you said. It ruined the way I could eat to the point where I’ve forgotten how it felt to not have this annoying lump feeling in my throat. Even the doctors I’ve been seeing couldn’t pinpoint the exact root cause of my acid reflux. So, all they could really do was give me meds, lifestyle advice, and diet changes. They do help alleviate my symptoms, but I’m at the point where I don’t know if my body will ever get to back normal completely. It’s always been hard to explain my case to other people. So, I’m glad to see that I’m not dealing with this issue alone.

If it helps I had it pretty bad about 10 years ago for about two years. Out of nowhere, I moved to Spain and the acid reflux was gone right after, at the point that I could actually drink alcohol etc and my stomach was absolutely fine. In the last 6 months I started to get it again, (I get it in the night when I am lying down now) and I went to Italy for two weeks recently, the second-week acid was pretty much gone, came back to the UK and the acid reflux is back again. What I wanted to say is that sometimes you think it might be forever but it will eventually get better. We might only need to make real lifestyle and food changes, which is what I did when moving countries or traveling. Don't lose hope as one day you might wake up and it will be gone forever. Best wishes 🙏

This was very helpful. I have to get an upper GI endoscopy done on Dec 4th. I am supper nervous, but not so much if the procedure but more of the results. I’ve had acid reflux symptoms but I haven’t really had the heartburns or Throat burning mine has been more Vomiting and Nausea than anything. Sometimes I end up having that sensation that my throat is closing and I did the same thing and went to the ER and they basically told me it was anxiety and to go home. I really started noticing my symptoms more this year than anything one of the triggers for me is Cheese and Beef and Dark Soda which means no more burgers for me that’s usually when the vomiting comes in like it won’t even stay down for 10 mins everything else has been ok though. I’m kind of learning my triggers and issues. Mine is more silent reflux.

thank you for sharing your experience!
since july i've been experiencing mild to severe stomach bloating, loud and ugly belching, and just tons of trapped abdominal gas, and it's been so frustrating. I went to the clinics twice, docs said it was probably gastric, took the meds (omeprazole, even gaviscon) and even got a blood test for h.pylori and took antibiotics, but the meds were ineffective.
i can't eat normally too, and i don't remember how it feels like to wake up with a normal stomach anymore :/
i share your sentiments, sounds bad but I want there to be something to be 'found' when I go for my endoscopy in december (currently overseas, so I have to wait a long while before getting checked)
either way, i hope you feel better soon! hopefully we can recover

Hello 👋🏼 I first want to say that I couldn’t help but laugh a few times while watching your video. I found you pretty funny hehe! Lol
I started getting this fear of eating in March 2024 and now it’s April and I’m so scared to eat. By the way I love eating! I have no idea where this fear came from where I feel like I’m going to choke. It’s now April 2024 and still having fears of eating there I’m going to choke. I also did a procedure last week on Friday and they didn’t find anything. I been so frustrated that I can’t eat like a human being. Everything you said I was able to relate. 💯 if you could please give us an update how you’re doing, I would be so grateful. I have been praying and manifesting that I become normal again when eating. I don’t want this to be my new normal. I cried so many times already because I just miss eating like a regular person

You could probably have GERD. GERD is a condition where the body produces too much stomach acid. It can be caused by certain foods, medications, other illnesses, etc or your body just simply produces too much on its own. I’m getting an endoscopy done for GERD for the first time. I’m nervous too and glad I saw this video. I used to take over the counter omeprazole everyday but now my doctor prescribed me pantoprazole which seems to work just as good even a lil better lasting. It’s a stomach acid reducer. When I was having major acid attacks my esophagus would get so inflamed. And than after I finally get it in control my esophagus would have these random squeezing cramps. It would get to a point I would spiral myself into thinking I have esophagus cancer and that I’m gonna die etc. I’m getting this endoscopy to hopefully clear my mind that it’s doing ok.

14 months this has been happening to me. Iv been thinking it was allergies everytime I have a reaction to the food or drink I eat I write that shit down and get tested to see if I’m allergic. but nothing. My throat goes tight it burns I have blurry vision not all the time. But the throat is so bad I genuinely feel as if my throat is closing and I’m dying and I’ve even had the ambulance out I’ve been living off antihistamines for the past year. People don’t understand it and think I’m crazy my doctors suggested I take therapy/counselling. I am. My doctors have made me feel like I’m going crazy and that it’s all in my head. Sometimes I feel like my tongue gets larger. So that makes me feel allergic reaction. Fuzzy ears muffled. Red sports on my tongue I’m Off balance and my body feels so fatigued at times. I have to lay down. I got tested for pots came back clear. Asthma negative copd negative I get shoulder pain and neck pain. I was pretty fit before this mental and physically deteriorated. I have this test you went for booked in for the next few weeks. I pray for you to find answers and not just answers but the strength to see it through because I know how it feels and this is kicking my ass. I’m tired of people thinking I’m over reacting.
