    This is a really good video. Thank you. One question - how it works during a heavy rain? air filter is quite exposed.

      Nice video. Just checking - to reset your ecu. You rev between 4&5 k. Do you leave your foot on the accelerator and the revs would drop by themselves?

    • @Project380
      @Project380  Год назад

      thank you. yes just leave your foot exactly where it is untill it reaches idle then you can take your foot off

    Wow very good job and nice editing video. I plan do the same thing on my NCFL. And what if it will rain? Dont be afraid that air filter soak water? Thank you and have a nice day. Grettings from Czech Republic. :-)

      i probably wouldnt drive it through a flood, but there is not a huge worry about the rain

    Re learning the ECU, how long do you hold the revs for?
    Followed this video, was so helpful

    • @Project380
      @Project380  Месяц назад

      until the revs drop by them self, i think it was about 45 seconds

    New subscriber! How often would you need to change the filter, and could you give me an approximate cost for this mod.

      @Project380  18 дней назад

      no need to change unless damaged but cleaned at least twice a year. i think about £200

    Hi
    It looks like the stock intake to the air box is more or less in the same place as the new one. So effectively, all you are doing is moving the filter from mid flow to the start of the air flow. How or why does this make a difference.
    I believe K & N filters provide better air flow than stock. Does the foam filter provide even better flow?

    • @Project380
      @Project380  2 месяца назад

      your moving the filter away from the hot air of the engine bay
      me personally i would of wanted a k and n filter but it wasn't my car

    I've got this kit on my NC, noticed the filter can get noticably wet if driving in the rain, which since it's my daily driver too is bound to happen. Have you notice anything similar ?

      so far so good with this one. have you got an aftermarket grill ?

      @@Project380 Nope still using the stock item, I’ve since realised it’s not leading to any water ingress even if it’s soaked so I’m not hugely fussed. Doesn’t seem to effect the lb/s either

    super , can I just make it out of black PVC pipe =P

    • @Project380
      @Project380  Год назад

      Of course if you wish you can make it out of pvc pipe. But this kit is a specific length to make the best gains. Plus the part that holds the MAF sensor is gonna be tricky to make

    Have to pull the bumper to change the air filter?

    • @1061shrink1061
      @1061shrink1061 Год назад +2

      Yep, or take the under tray off, neither is a fun job, and there's little evidence these thing do anything for an NC, which already has A dedicated cold air feed. All this does is move the filter component to a place where it will get wetter, dirtier and is harder to replace. I wouldn't bother.

    • @Project380
      @Project380  Год назад +1

      just take the under tray off, just a handful of 8mm bolts

      no issues so far, admittedly an oil treated K and N should be better against water
