got any tips for the turret alignment ? just reinstalled my ppf after pulling the engine, and the turret isn't centered in the trans tunnel hole. do i just loosen the three front ppf bolts and move it over ?

Why not upgrade the hubs while there? The stock hubs are weak and prone to failing when driven hard and especially so when driven hard with wider wheels and stickier tires.

I'm watching and I'm thinking those news studs look too long for that 6mm spacer. 6mm spacer for an extra 20mm of stud, I was wondering how you were going to make that work.

"Let me just quickly put on some new wheel studs....." New bolts, wheels, calipers, turbo mount and axle stands later. "Well, that wasn't a simple swap" 🤣

When deleting the oil warmer/cooler, what did you do with the coolant lines that go from the throttle body to the back of the head? Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find any specifics on that part.

long shot but my check engine light has just come on, apparently the 'ht' leads / spark plugs are a common cause of misfiring.. i think mine is misfiring, the exhaust kind of sounds like it's farting? thinking about ordering new leads and spark plugs, i only need 2 leads right?

for camera action cam dji action 5 pro mirrorless micro four thirds = panasonic lumix gh6 - 4k 120 slo mo,lots of codecs and frame rates ,huge range of cheap lenses from olympus, panasonic, leica etc mirrorless fullframe panasonic lumix s5II - great in low light, get a few primes, 35mm 1.8, 50mm 1.8 and kit lens 20-60 gh6 and og s5 are cheap as new models have superceeded them esp if you pick up a good used copy - heck even gh5 would do panasonic is great for video but really any camera made from 2018 onwards will be fine if you need autofocus , then get s5ii or gh7 budget allowing

I found this channel last year when i took the plunge and bought an MX5 after only ever doing classic minis. I've been following religiously since, learning along the way, and its nice to see something with an A-series in getting some love too. Looking forward to seeing more on this and how it progresses. I used to have the halos work in tandem with the OEM indicators then I bought IL LEDs and I can’t figure out a connection to link both 🥹 and I’m dumb enough I have to see someone’s set up to understand it

First starts are ALWAYS tense! But at least you have it running (more or less). This is the second step (the first being getting the engine together from a pile of bits and pieces). So sorry that your oil pump is plaguing you. One tip if you elect to get a Boundary Engineering billet oil pump; make sure that the plunger in the pressure relief valve moves freely in it's ENTIRE range of travel. If it sticks open, you will lose ALL oil pressure and your engine is toast - ask me how I know this...
