Tonight Maymay relaxes and taps into her childlike imagination....and goes outside the lines!
so gather up those supplies and let's create!
~~Measurements~~
The finished church is A2 in size that 4.25" x 5.50"
Church wall panels
(2) 4" x 4.25" pieces of white cardstock
find the center on the 4.25" side and make a mark
on the 4" sides measure down the side and mark at 1.50"
see the video for the cutting instructions
Hinge strip
(1) 2" x 11" piece of white cardstock
score on the 11" side @ 5.50"
then from that score line measure 1" on each side of the score

Inside wall panels
take the card and trace it on white cardstock, cut it out inside the pencil line, and take that one and trace a second one and cut it right on the line

I love it!
I call them doodles. I doodle flowers, scenic nature, cabins, and barns. It's all scribbles, zig zags, spirals, just depends on what I'm feeling.when its me, a pen and paper and nothing else available, depending on time and what I'm willing to put into it. I keep them to go back and see growth

I'm a former vbs kid many decades ago, at our Baptist church. It's was so enlightening to us rural kids when the Baptist college kids came with the games and songs, and of course the scripture and bible stories. I still remember a couple of songs. I think your card is fabulous!! I have a couple of wedding cards to make this summer.🤩

When I was a little girl, I loved going to VBS at the nearby Methodist church. Catholic churches don't have VBS, I wish we did because it would be fun to be a teacher.
I always went with friends whose churches had VBS Because our Catholic church didn’t have them. I also sent my daughter to AWANAS so she could learn the bible.
I became interested in crafting while in VBS. 😊
OMG Maymay What a Spectacular Share !!! As the saying goes look thru a childs eyes....and I talking everything and so true and mch more relaxed and not complicated and be proud of ourselves for what we did and the way we did ti...now that was fun and your whole verbal share was humbling!!
