The graphics on the OG Xbox still hold up in these days. It was my favorite 6th gen console at the time even though I had a ps2 and Dreamcast at the time.

Back when games were good! Creative, unique, bold... Memories that will last forever. Late nights with friends or family a pizza and soda. Times that will be remembered forever!! Also no updates or installs or BS pay to play... The game was the game put it in and enjoy. I have played games from OG atari till now. The 6th gen of consoles PS2 gamecube and Xbox are and will always be the best era of gaming!! Sidenote splinter cell is awesome!
Games are still good, homie. Maybe not so much in the AAA space but there's still more hours of new games to enjoy than you have time in the day to play them.

that HALO trailer brought me back 23 years to going to my cousins house so we could all play HALO 4-player since there was no online play and no one else had an XBOX.... ..times really have changed.
I remember that Xbox was hyping a lot of games that were never released. I wished Starcraft Ghost had released. Halo, Ninja Gaiden, and Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic were top notch games. Xbox had good games just that a lot of them were not advertised.

I remember one xbox live ad where they were playing a fake fighting game and near the end he holds up his opponents head and when he talks on the mic, so does the head lol. It was either on a demo disc or that xbox live welcome CD.
So cool! I’m getting the original Xbox for my 18th birthday on the 28th of this month, along with the halo games and medal of honor allied assault ect. Can’t wait to play these classic games! 😁
Just met your channel earlier today and just gonna say: Thank you so much for all the work, love and soul you put on this. It has been a blast living through the nostalgia back again (to the point of making me want to go play/play again many of the titles from both og and 360). And it does make me happy, proud, and excited to be an xbox player. The past was surely a blast, and i'll always look foward to what the future holds on this great platform that we all love so much. I typically view nostalgia as poison but in the case of original Xbox graphics and the style of games that came out on it, I find I still appreciate it today. Just look at how unique almost every game here is , that or they went on to become extremely iconic. This was objectively an incredible era of gaming! Totally SNES or Pacman arcade machine tier if that makes sense
Nostalgia aside, the amount of in-game and in-engine footage is incredible. Compare that to yesterday's summer game fest where 90% of the trailers are pre-rendered cgi that will never show up in game.
Thank you for archiving this vertical slice of gaming media from the 2000s! Would you consider uploading a re-rendered version of this video in native 4:3 and rendered to 1440p? Some, myself included; like to watch this type of content on 4:3 CRT computer monitors to fit the full image, and RUclips deliberately crushes the bit-rate on resolutions below 1440p to encourage buying RUclips premium. It would be nice to watch this on a nostalgic panel in less compressed fidelity. If that requires more effort than you wanted to allot to this specific project I get it completely.

Crazy, I knew Kameo was at one point being developed for the Xbox, but didn't realize they'd gone as far as made a commercial for it.
